We we're frequent customers and even called them friends. When others wanted referrals on FB or in person, I recommended them. I will NEVER say another good word about them. I took my rings there to be resized. I trusted them, had a great deal going on in my life and was getting ready to leave town. I left the rings and even extended the time for the simple process because he was busy. In fact, it just gave him more time to steal/replace what was mine. Did he really think I wouldn't know? I have connection to the jewelry store where my rings were purchased and normally cared for. They knew the minute I walk in. I have the engagement ring setting that one of the diamonds was taken from to make one of the rings and No the diamond isn't the same, nor is the band from my engagement ring. Anger and inability to sleep are consuming. WHO and WHY would he do this? Can't be trusted. read more

I'm not even sure where to start but felt compelled to write a review based on my experience. I'm sure as most, I had no formal "jeweler" that I felt I could go to and feel comfortable. The one I used to use retired many years ago and since both mine and my wife's wedding rings weren't falling apart, no need to do anything. Well, both mine and my wife's rings happened to break. Mine about 3 years ago and my wife's about a year ago. With enough complaining from my wife about finding someone to get them fixed, I decided that for our anniversary I would get both fixed. I did some research and completely based on the reviews I saw on-line and that this was a local business for me, I felt that this would be the place to go. I went in on a Saturday and explained what I needed done to both rings and, more importantly that my anniversary was that following Tuesday! I honestly didn't give them enough time to do what needed to be done to the rings but after some calls to get updates and what needed to be repaired (which mind you were complete overhauls to both rings) they came through! Tuesday came and unfortunately they weren't able to get it done before they closed at 6 pm. They called me about 6:30 (while we were on our way to dinner for our anniversary) and they said that they'd wait for us to get done because they really wanted my wife to have her ring on her anniversary! Who does that today? Honestly? That was the best answer I could've heard considering I thought the day was lost. We showed up around 8:30 PM and the work that was done blew us away. They waited for us and went through what they did and we could't have been happier. As a business owner myself, service like this as well as the work that was done just isn't as prevalent anymore. If you are looking for a place to sell your gold or silver, Keehn's is the place. It's not some fly by night "Cash 4 Gold" hole. This is a legitimate jewlery store and I feel totally safe and secure there. The gentlemen that work there are honest and hard working. They also repair jewlery in house as well as sell some really beautiful pieces. I sold gold to them last year and this year, and I received a very fair price both times. They've been in business for a long time and do everything by the book. read more

Received a circular in the mail, stopped in because my wife wanted to check some things she'd seen. Smallish shop, they seem to have very nice items at a reasonable price. The jeweler is in-house, and appeared to be working with a gentleman on a custom piece while we were there. The young woman who took care of us was pleasant & patient, answering our questions and pointing out changes that could be made if, for instance, we preferred yellow to white gold on a particular piece. We left without making a purchase, but I went back a few days later and bought a bracelet my wife had commented on. I got it at a reasonable price, and looked at a few other items, as wife's birthday and our wedding anniversary are within a few days of each other in April. I like the idea of a local shop rather than a chain, and they will probably get my business in the future. read more

We took an antique Lady Elgin watch to Keehn's on a restorer's recommendation. We called repeatedly for nearly a year to find out when it would be repaired. $110 later, we picked up the watch this week - the crystal was replaced with one that was too small and kept falling out. We took it to a local jeweler who said it was not cleaned, and the case was broken. We are paying another $125 to have the job done right. Keehn's voice mail is always full or the phone just rings and rings - even when we did leave a message, never received a return call. Kenny did complain to me that "people leave their watches sitting in a drawer for years then want him to hurry up and fix it". We never asked him to hurry - we just wanted him to do what we paid him to do. He didn't. Go elsewhere. read more

The only fault I had was that he fell behind schedule a bit but the price and quality made up for that. Small honest affordable. Good guys here. Work is done in house and not farmed out like the big corporate place. I had custom wedding bands made for an antique engagment ring as well as modifications made to the antique. Flawless. this place is HORRIBLE when it comes to customer service! My fiance had to keep hounding them just to get the engagement ring in time. Then when we took it back to get an appraisal - they said it takes 7-10 days while other stores only take 24 hours! They never answer their phone and never call you back! I have been trying to call them since 10am to get the status on my ring and all I get is the machine. read more
