We received our photos only days after each event and we absolutely love them all! She is so experienced as a wedding photographer that she made the photos run as smoothly and painless as possible, especially the family photos! Actually, she really help make the whole day run smoothly! She was like our second wedding coordinator and our third mom! She helped apply my veil and made an impromptu bustle when mine broke! I don't love being in front of the camera but she always made me feel so confident and comfortable. The photos look beautiful, natural, and effortless. The day would not have been the same without her and now we will remember it forever with her photographs. We highly recommend her and would work with her in the future for any other photographer needs! Thank you so much, April Mae.

We found it so easy to relax around her, which shows in the photos. She gives easy-to-follow instructions that make the photos look great without feeling overly posed or unnatural. We had great vendors for our wedding, but April was by our favorite by far! When booking with her, she shared multiple galleries with me so I could see the flow of a whole day and get a sense for her style. She was also a preferred vendor for our venue, so she was able to even help us decide on a wedding date based on past weddings she'd photographed there (and when the greenery was most lush without being too hot). She was very flexible about rescheduling our engagement session when I had a ring disaster that required repairs. We were able to do two locations for the shoot that allowed us to get a more park-like feel with our pups and some downtown vibes, too. April is organized, well collected and a source of calm on an otherwise hectic day. Really led the flow of the day (despite having a planner), and I am SO grateful we had her as our photographer. She is also very competitively priced for the level of service she provides. Besides her absolutely amazing work, another thing that stood out was that she did not have an hour limit of on her time with us on our wedding day. It was nice knowing she would be there for everything we wanted captured. We were also SO impressed with how quickly we got our photos for both engagement and wedding galleries. We received 600+ of our photos within 48 hours of our wedding and got a several hundred more within a few weeks! It was so wonderful getting to see them so soon after and made me even more grateful we went with her after hearing horror stories of other couples not getting photos back for 4+ months. She is a master at her craft, and the proof is in the photos! We will cherish our gorgeous engagement and wedding photos every day for the rest of our lives. Thank you so much April! I will never stop singing your praises for anyone who will listen!!!

The brother of the bride told her in front of everyone "can you be nice?" Fast forward to today, I (bridesmaid) got an email from the wedding planner to all vendors (i did the brides hair) Attached is Inbal's response "this was not the easiest wedding..." She has such a unique eye- able to capture the important moments, of course, but also so many little pockets of pure, candid joy, plus incredible composition on posed photos. She was able to walk us through all of the things that are vital for photos but that people who have never been married before wouldn't necessarily think of- where parents' arms should go while walking down the aisle, how to position each other's hands for ring photos, and so on. Inbal and her awesome assistant, Jerry, were able to divide and conquer at times, and it was great having him as a second shooter for different angles of our ceremony. (He also did an excellent job finding the perfect lighting and angles for shots of me getting ready while Inbal took care of photos of my bride.) On top of everything else, Inbal is unbelievably kind and fun, and she made sure to take a lot of time to get to know us before the wedding and find out what kinds of photos would best capture who we are. Oh, and she got our album back to us so quickly! We were unbelievably lucky to get her for our big day, and she was able to capture so many images that will stay with us forever.

During the lesson she taught us lots of practical tips to make our photos look better (techniques for framing, how to find good lighting, exposure settings for specific lighting conditions etc). These were definitely better than anything we could have taken. The experience was really worth it and we highly recommend Oliva to anyone looking to learn about photography or wanting a photo session.

Her work she displayed that day was so good, but we wanted to do some more looking around before we booked a photographer. We did our research and talked to some other photographers, but Amber's work still stood out as a favorite. We knew we had to set up a meeting with her, and I'm so glad we did! Amber was super professional the entire day. She came prepared with her assistant and all of their equipment. Their confidence made us feel at ease and their positive attitudes even when some guest were getting in the way made us feel that much better. It ended up being a rainy day on our wedding day, so the planned outdoor ceremony was moved indoors at the last minute. Fortunately, Amber was able to get some gorgeous shots even though we were mostly stuck indoors. The dancing was a huge part of our reception and Amber was able to capture some really great candid moments too. Overall, we can't thank her enough. I would highly recommend Amber! : )

In my brain they were just nice, kind folks who were right up my quirky alley. Looking for a special photographer for a Big Event is no joke: we ended up checking out several portfolios before recognizing how amazingly LewChan captures multitudes of skin tones, sets up interesting photographs, and communicates joyful movement in their photos. We were sold. As a spreadsheet lover who strives to keep things in order, it was so easy to work with Eryn, the lead photographer. Without natural light your daytime pictures are at risk, and finding out when the sun sets to establish the photography timeline was, surprisingly to me, the best way to determine the rest of the event. Eryn helped me establish a timeline for photos, which I added to a tab in my Google sheet (I don't know how people planned things before spreadsheets). This helped inform the rest of the event: when food should arrive, when dancing would start, how much time to allot for toasts. I mean seriously, this set the tone for everything else in the best way possible. Their energy is unbeatable. In potentially high-stress situations they helped keep things light and easy. Prior to the event, I had completed a form with names of people who should be in certain pictures. I was a little perturbed by this request at first - I am so stressed and have no time!! But I saw how smoothly it helped them move along, getting the right people lined up to join our merry photographed crew. They are beyond professional and, if you're up for it, hilarious. Within a day or so we had a sneak peek at some of the pictures. They do not mess around on their awesomeness levels. I am so absolutely thrilled with their work and can't wait to see more and frame everything. Love LewChan 4eva!
