I've never had my windows professionally (or otherwise) cleaned before. So I did not know quite what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by Crystal Green--not only by the very reasonable price ($100) for many windows (exterior) on a 4 story townhouse (including 2 skylights) but also by the level of professionalism shown by Eric (the owner?). Eric was quickly responsive to my initial call. He was actually able to give me an estimate while I was away from home. The overall quality of the work was excellent. There were a few missed spots (there was a new guy in the crew) and they forgot about the skylights (minus 1 star for that). But they were more than willing to rectify this issue when I brought it up. For the amount of money I paid relative to the amount and overall quality of the work, it was a bargain. read more

Overall: A small local business, with excellent service and care We desperately needed to have our gutters cleaned, but with us being the procrastination King & Queen of the Pacific NorthWest, it has taken us a while to get it sorted. I found Crystal Green Window Cleaning through the reviews of other yelpers and decided to try them for myself. They clean gutters as well as windows (inside and out) at very reasonable prices. Eric can give you an ONLINE quote with the exchange of a few pieces of information. He quoted us $125 for gutter cleaning and $125 for exterior window cleaning of 35 windows on a 3-storey house. We opted just for the gutter cleaning this time around. Eric was friendly and was on time, then worked away for 1 hour and 45 minutes! The best part is that you don't have to be in when Eric calls, he can just invoice you later - however, since I was in, I decided to pay him there and then! I'm always a little nervous to go solely by reviews online--so I took a few bids when it was time to clean the windows on our new house and our out-building. Eric is straightforward and honest. His prices are extremely competitive and best of all he does amazing work! His attention to detail was much appreciated. I didn't mention to him that the wood around our windows was salvaged, delicate and would be very difficult to replace--but found that he took the *greatest* care with them even so. The windows look amazing amazing now. On top of it all, he is very professional and seems like a really decent human being. Selected this company after reading the many positive yelp reviews. Had a decent experience overall but a few hiccups I thought you should be aware of. Firstly, the quote provided was under by about $150-200. I don't know exactly why - the invoice didn't have any explanation on it. Secondly, the employee showed up an hour late, which generally wouldn't be a big deal but when you call off work expecting someone to be there it is a bit frustrating. We tried calling and emailing for a status update and nobody responded to our messages. Fortunately they eventually showed up. The final thing was that my check for the services wasn't cashed until 2 months after I mailed it in with the invoice. I completely forgot about it and fortunately had enough in my bank account to cover it, but I could see how that might be an issue for someone else. read more

While in the past I've had great experiences with this company, this week we were very disappointed. The service was VERY slow... window washing for just our back windows was about 1.5 hours. Could be due to poor window washing equipment - seemed like a lot was done with very small sponges or by hand. Also, pressure washing machine was not working, so it was done with a smaller machine -- but they still charged by the hour ($100) and didn't compensate for it. In the end, the fellow ran out of time and just went home without checking in. We didn't realize he was gone. Some parts not done. Bill came in at $775. Seems way over priced for the quality of work and amount of work. We're going to have to finish up the job. We won't be using them again. For those hiring them, I would suggest a firm quote before any work is done. read more

Eric has been cleaning my windows for about 3 or 4 years now and I am always left with crystal clean windows that are free of streaks. He is super speedy and reasonably priced. I live on a slight hill, but it's enough of a slope to make it tricky to get on a ladder, and that was not a challenge for him, nor was it a challenge to clean my original 1909 windows with twelve small panes of glass in one window. Very disappointing. Gave quote over the phone, then made booking. Left voicemail on day scheduled to clean stating would cost almost twice as much ($375 for a two story house about 2,500 sq ft with solarium), and would need to reschedule. I approved new price, and rescheduled appt. Job was not completed - whole wall of windows not cleaned. No explanation provided. Fly wire cover of solarium window subsequently fell out as it had not ben properly refitted after windows cleaned. Not the sort of service you'd expect for the money. read more

Let me just start by saying that Eric Green is phenomenal find! He is simply the most detail orientd window washer I have seen ever! I have used window washers in my business for 8 years, and in other businesses for 20. Eric is the first one I have seen who is efficient, very quick and productive the entire time, and his work is exceptional. I am very critical and detail oriented, and expect that others work be that way also. I could not find one area to critique Eric on. He got every spot on every window on the inside and outside, and our mirrors. He left no streaks, cleaned up all the drips, and even removed cleaned and replaced all the screens as well! He was so quick I was anstonished at his efficiencey. The most amazing part is that he is a "green" cleaning service. So no chemicals! There is simply no better place to go for window washing. Eric Green is your man. His prices are very affordable, and he definately could be charging double for the value of his services... We just moved to Seattle and bought our first house - WOW did our windows need a good washing. Thank goodness for Eric and his magic window washing wand (and the yelp community for recommending him!). Eric was very professional, and even came out on Labor day to accommodate our schedule. He did an amazing job on the windows and gutters and even inspected some of the shingles on our roof while cleaning; even our inspector didn't do that. Fabulous. I called Eric and while he was a week out on scheduling, he volunteered to come the next day since my store is near his house. My store has huge windows which were covered with months (years?) worth of street grime and the inside had just been remodeled so they were a mess of drywall dust and paint.
