He took care of us, guided us through the process and assured us every step of the way... even helped us with home insurance adjustor to get what was really needed, not on just what the insurance will want for us to settle with. I also wanted to commend Steve, our project manager for being honest and patient with the process. There are moments where i know he could have just let things slipped by without me even knowing but he was truthful on all the products and the outcome, he made sure we will be happy now and forever with the kitchen repairs. I even asked for extra work on some items and they delivered! I cant thank you enough. And will be recommending this company to everyone i know.

When we were told that we might have white mildew and/or black mold in our attic, we knew that some…read morerestoration companies will "find" mold or mildew even if it's not there. Our search for an honest company led us to West Coast, and we hoped the reviews were true. The good news is, West Coast is as honest as it gets. Askia came out and looked around the attic while I watched from the ladder. First, he showed me that the supposed mildew was some sort of harmless sandy clay-ish material. And the supposed black mold was just "lumber mold", an industry term for "stain fungi"--the common dark streaks in lumber that originate at the sawmill or in the forest, don't weaken the lumber, and are not indications of moisture. Who knew? Well, Askia knew. And he actually spent time convincing me that we didn't need their services. So do I recommend them to you? You betcha! An honest company is a joy to find.

It was the same company but different people running the job like it was a separate company. I ended up hiring another contractor that I had worked with me before.

They were efficient, polite and kept me assured that they would take care of things and updated throughout the process especially since I was dealing with all of this while my spouse was on a work trip. We still have a ways to go to get back to norm but these guys have been good to us since the beginning of the process. Definitely recommend!

All I asked him was, "can you help me get to the link where I leave a review."? But this employee went ahead and posted his own review of his own performance with the company and added employee's names whom I don't even know who they are. Besides that, I have not been able to contact their billing department about some concerns I have about their billing statement and concerns about their sales rep who assured me my flood damage at my house would be covered by my insurance. The sales rep even got on the phone and assisted in opening the insurance claim by getting on the phone with my insurance and not identifying himself as the Mighty Dry Sales rep, which I'm not sure if that's conflict of interest. In my case my insurance denied my claim, now I am left with a huge bill from Might Dry. My emails and my phone calls to their billing department continue to be ignored since 8/25/26.

Both told me it was not a slab leak, yet neither could explain why my tile floors were unusually hot or identify the source of the other concerning symptoms I was experiencing. That's when I was referred to Gold Coast. They quickly sent out Kurt, whose professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail were immediately apparent. After a thorough inspection, he confidently confirmed that I did in fact have a slab leak and was even able to pinpoint the exact location beneath the slab. His expertise gave me the confidence to move forward with Gold Coast for the water damage restoration. From the owner to every crew member on site, the entire team was professional, friendly, honest, and highly skilled. This was a major restoration project involving my entire downstairs, and throughout the process I felt completely confident that my home was in good hands. Kurt walked me through every step, answered all of my questions, and treated my home with the same care and respect as if it were his own. What stood out most was the company's integrity and honesty which are qualities that can be difficult to find these days. Since my experience, I've referred Gold Coast to several friends and neighbors, all of whom have had equally positive experiences. I truly believe Gold Coast is one of the best companies in San Diego for water damage restoration and mold remediation. I'd also like to add, you can probably find cheaper companies but I know for a fact you won't have the quality work that Gold Coast can offer, saving you more money in the long run. After multiple professionals failed to identify the problem, they were the ones who finally found the real issue and handled everything with excellence. Thank you, Gold Coast!

After reviewing the paperwork, I noticed discrepancies that were never disclosed or explained -- including an overcharge of $1,557.56 for four days of dehumidifier. When I raised concerns, I was met with vague excuses and zero accountability. One individual in particular, Alex, stood out for all the wrong reasons. His behavior was unprofessional at best and downright unscrupulous at worst. He gave off a strong "shady alley guy" vibe -- dishonest, throwing out false estimates, and down right sleazy. I've since learned that others have had similarly negative experiences with this company, and it's clear this isn't just a one-off issue -- it's a pattern. Due to the severity of the situation, we are currently filing a dispute with several entities to formally address Olympia's unethical conduct. To anyone considering doing business with Olympia: be extremely cautious. Double-check everything. Get all agreements in writing and reviewed independently. I did have at least 6-7 companies come by to pitch their thing, what's gonna happen, how much it was going to cost. In the end I ended with this company and I have zero regrets. Arturo came to give an assessment of what is going on, what needs to be done, and when they are going to do so. The preparation they did before the work was amazing. I have carpet upstairs and they put plastics on everything so there would be a minimal cleaning in the end. Arturo communicated with me on everything they are working on. After all done, they cleaned everything, they put back my toilet with no issue, the walls are painted and textured. I didn't think that they were cutting any corners or trying to get it all done and get my money and be out. Only small issue I had was the communication about the invoices with their accounting team. I had to call them multiple times to get it updated since I needed the bills split between HOA and me. But in the end they got it all figured out.
