I went to the business for my appointment, the door was locked and all the lights were on and it looked like someone left in a hurry. I wanted to wait to hear back from the business to leave a review but it's been three days and I still haven't received a response. I was hopeful that maybe there was a mistake or something but not hearing back is not good business. I left a message on Vagaro, instagram and I called repeated with no answer. I really wanted to like this place! read more

Sent text messages, emails, phone calls, and even left a couple written notes between the end of November and mid-January. Unfortunately, on January 19 I canceled my membership. Bummed, but I don't want anyone else getting sold on the package membership, as I was, and told that would allow access after hours and weekends only to be left hanging. read more

How does one get a response!? This place has continually charged me monthly for a membership after I cancelled. It is impossible to get in contact with any "worker or manager or owner" not sure how this is ran but. This is ridiculous. I have been charged MONTHS AFTER CANCELLING. Definitely don't reccomend coming here. I still have yet to wait to hear back from someone hoping maybe someone will reach out now. No one answers the phone let alone is on site. Anyone else have a resolution?! read more

Previous employee at this place and boy are the owners Alex and Eric unprofessional. Alex the owner has owed me pay for work completed since January of 2024! After numerous non responses to texts or calls for months, I just let it boil over as it was frustrating. Then almost 9 months later, she texts about her Benicia location which was believed to be abandoned asking if I wanted to purchase it, nothing said about money owed to me! I feel bad for the clients that she just takes money from and does not respond to their requests to cancel or refunds for missed appointments. If enough people file a small claim suit against them to get their money back, I'm sure it would go a long way with the BBB. Cryotherapy and other wellness modalities are really great, BUT FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! I WOULD AVOID THIS PLACE IF I WERE YOU! read more

The business was closed at my scheduled appointment time and they did not reach out to cancel or notify me. I attempted to call and text the business but they were unresponsive. There wasn't even a sign on the door. I would give them the benefit of the doubt as I know emergencies happen - but it looks like others have experienced the same based on Yelp, ClassPass and Google reviews. Save yourself time and money and avoid this business. read more

I really enjoy the services here! We pay $60/month for the subscription/membership and we can get 4 things per month included with it. My husband uses the spot cryo for his injury (ruptured achilles a few months back) and the normantech thing (think big puffy boots that squeeze your legs and get blood flowing). I like the various lymphatic massages and the infrared sauna. The lymphatic massage works really well. I did a light pressure the first time but it worked well; I felt trimmer and less bloated/fluffy afterwards. The second time was tighter fitting and more pressure and I felt pretty darn amazing afterwards for the next few days. Well this last time I got the high lymphadema one and wow, it was tight/lots of pressure but I lost about 5lbs of water weight over the next two days. Haven't felt that good and trim in a while! Location: yes, it's weird. Super awkward to walk through a nail salon on the way to the back rooms, however, they're a new establishment and I'm pretty sure once their customer base is large enough they'll probably move into a single, unshared space. Plus the ladies are nice and young so I want to support their business and excited to see it grow. read more

They canceled appointments last-minute twice now, within an hour of those appointments. They're unreliable.

Someone I know made an appointment, showed up and nobody was there. Sign is gone too. This place is closed even though they are still allowing for appointments to be booked. Go elsewhere. read more

This business has gone downhill drastically in the last year due to the owner, Alex having more interest in her personal life than in her business. She's too consumed with her toxic relationship with a wealthy, married man than she is with a niche business that could thrive in an area like this. Too bad to see it's closed permanently, but also not surprised... read more

Used classpass to schedule. Drove 30 minutes and showed up 15 minutes ahead of my appointment. Found the place closed and no one answering the door. This place will go out of business soon. Every review is negative and they write themselves a 5 star review right after. read more

Unfortunately, what started as a great deal and responsive service wound up being not-so-great. Impossible to get in touch with staff, even to cancel (which I was very reluctant to do). I'm still trying to get the charges to stop. Hope they can turn things around - or at least communicate better with customers about their challenges- because owning a business is hard but there was promise and some good offerings. read more

Located in a plaza. This is inside a nice spacious nails spot behind the back! It's not named CryoglowSF which threw me off, but Belle Nails. Has a receptionist, calls and appointments for scheduling. Very relaxing facial sculpting and doesn't pain nor has post facial burns or anything. Scented candle burning in the room, creates soothing atmosphere. Servicing was excellent and if you're early, the receptionist told me that I can use the massage chair, which helped with turning it down. read more

You cannot get them on the phone!!!! I booked an appointment online and received a confirmation. I drove about 25 minutes from my home to the appointment. When I got there the door was locked and no one responded to me knocking or calling. When I was getting ready to walk away I got a text that said they were running 30 minutes behind. They asked if I could wait. I couldn't since I had a meeting. I wasted my time, money, and gas trying to support this business. Though they did offer me a complimentary session I have no intentions of using it. They are unprofessional and I won't have my time wasted again. read more

This place is a nightmare to deal with. They closed their branch in Benicia without any warning. No one answers the phone or returns emails. Yet they still charge me 100$ a month. I've had to report them for fraud even canceling my card. Yet they found a way to still charge me after the fact. I would not give these crooked people your business. read more

When I first joined/signed up I was charged twice for the membership. I text Alex many times and I was told my refund would be taken care of/reversed. One month later I saw Alex and she said my refund would take effect that day. I know these things take time so I wasn't worried and I trusted her. She set me up on the red light table, and said she had an emergency at home, her house was flooding. She said she would be right back. I was still new to the next steps. I waited for awhile and then finally took the stuff off and left the room. There was a gentleman there that showed me how to use the sauna and the cold machine (I don't remember the name of it). I tried to make follow up appointments and I never received any replies. So not only was I charged 2x's for a yearly membership and a monthly fee of 199.00. i have not been able to make any appointments. I have tryed to get in touch, but no replies. I called my Chase Credit card and claimed fraud for charging me, and no service renderd. It's under investigation. In the mean time I'm out $2956.00. and absolutely no reply from CryoGlowSF. Not to mention the place was always a mess and seemed very dirty. I had to tell them they were out of toilet paper . Alex seemed surprised and didn't even know. She had to run to the store and buy some. i'm so bummed because this seemed like the perfect place and I loved the location and the view. Also, Jasmine was the sweetest. I feel bad for her if she doesn't have a job now. read more

Similar to the other reviews, I am unable to get in touch to make an appointment or to cancel my membership. How do we reconcile this?

I am always happy to support small businesses. I booked the infrared sauna for 50 minutes, luckily it was only $25. The sauna said 144/146 (I hit 170 to see if it would get hotter) but I didn't even break a sweat in 40 minutes and the Bluetooth didn't work. The only option was staticky FM radio. When I came out I told the one person working there that the sauna wasn't hot and didn't seem like 144/146 was accurate. She just kept saying uh huh leaving me to believe she knew it wasn't working properly. When I came out of the restroom she had busied herself folding towels so it was clear she was done talking about the lukewarm sauna. I would go elsewhere if you are looking for a proper and satisfying sauna experience. Disappointing. read more

Alex and her team are amazing!! I'm so grateful that I found them in April 2022. I was recovering from burnout and looking for other ways to boost my immune system to heal. They are incredibly helpful, and thanks to their guidance, we found a regimen that works exceptionally well for me. I've been doing weekly infrared sauna sessions and lymphatic drainage sessions. And within weeks, my skin no longer looked gray, and my sleep was improving. By July, my sleep was way better than it had been in years! My skin has that glow back, I have more energy, and my hair and nails are healthier. The results have been dramatic. I also received the healing benefit of a cryo session when my back went out. Alex treated my back before my sauna session to help improve the healing process. It made such a huge difference that I look forward to adding cryo to my regimen in the future too. I love feeling that they are my well-being partner. And I appreciate how they always go above and beyond! read more

I am torn about leaving a 2 star review because this is a small niche business and I've definitely benefited from Cryo therapy. Unfortunately, I tried to cancel my membership for months with no response to phone calls, texts & emails. I just kept getting charged. The owner finally contacted me and apologized saying they are short staffed and opening a new location so things must be hectic. I still haven't gotten a credit and I'm shocked at the lack of professionalism. It's vital for a business to be on top of the admin & customer service. If I ever get more Cryo it won't be here. Not sure how to recoup my losses & considering small claim which is a pain for everyone so I'm hoping I won't have to. read more

As of this writing they are at Crystal Springs and NOT inside the nail salon. Yes the new place is still not finished and yes about the phone calls or lack of answering but Alex, the owner is totally awesome. Believe me I felt like the one star yelpers for a couple minutes while waiting for my appointment but the service is great. Alex is great. I'll be back and support local business and so glad she is now able to expand and have her own place in San Mateo. Way to go!!!! read more

Booked a cryo facial with ClassPass. Arrived 15 minutes early, directed to the back of Bella Nails, hung out in what looks like a storage hallway for 15 minutes. One of the nail techs came back to ask if I was looking for something and let me know that CryoGlow has moved. No one seems to know where. Their voicemail is full and they are not answering texts. If they moved, they should have let me know and given me the new address. If they're out of business, they should not be actively booking reservations. So unprofessional and such a disappointment. read more

I've had 8 sessions of their anti-aging and chin fat reduction facials. The hot followed by cold facial treatments have worked for me in improving the texture of my skin--less wrinkles (reduced the frown lines between my eyes), more firmness around my jaws (no more double chin although mine was slight), smaller pores, and amazingly a glow that lasts beyond the sessions. My litmus test: I met up with friends I hadn't seen for three years. All complimented that I hadn't aged a bit. I attribute this to the CryoglowSF treatments. An added unexpected benefit I noticed just after the second facial was in regards to my droopy eyelids. I think my now lifted eyelids look better than a friend's who had her lids surgically enhanced. I highly recommend CryoglowSF and Jasmine, my favorite facialist there. The upkeep is fairly minimal with once or twice a month treatments. This is a better solution than Botox or other injections which I was seriously contemplating. Glad I found this less evasive, painless solution to better, brighter, smoother skin. read more

I had the most delightful therapeutic treat for myself at this lovely spa and everyone on the staff was so nice and pleasant. I did four treatments. The lymphatic massage helped get my lymphatic system moving. The infrared sauna was really clean and very relaxing, and I worked up at good sweat. The cryotherapy was amazing. I've had a sore shoulder for over a month, and I couldn't believe the pain went away just from several minutes of treatment. I need to go back to get other parts of my body treated with cryo. The last therapy I got was compression and this I have to say has the least effect on me but that might just be me. I highly recommend CryoglowSF. I will certainly come back again for more. Thank you. read more

In reading recent reviews, I see that I'm not alone in my experience. I was a member for more than a year, and at first I really enjoyed the experience. This review is no reflection of the staff- Jasmin M. was amazing. However, the equipment I paid my membership to used was broken for more than a month. Every time I tried to inquire, I was ignored. I requested a refund for a month. I texted, called, emailed and was ignored. I tried to cancel my membership, and I was ignored. I finally had to reach out to my credit card to dispute the charge and stop future membership payments. I am so bummed as I wasted money and time. I really wanted to use cryotherapy, but this business owner does not know how to do business. Do not book here. If you do book an appointment, beware they might cancel or you might show up to no one. Definitely do not sign up for a membership unless you want to sign up for expensive frustration and neglect. read more

First time checking them out. They recently moved to the Crystal Springs Shops (above The Bar Method). It's a bright location and they are still setting up rooms and equipment, the floor is being redone and there are wires hanging. But they remain open even as they get set up. I decided to take advantage of the discounted package being offered, and got the lymphatic compression, infrared sauna, and cryo treatment, in that order. The sauna was nice and toasty (I turned up the temp to 170degrees which is as high as it will go). The cold therapy (cryo treatment) is quite amazing. Much easier than dunking into a cold plunge or sitting in an ice cold tub. It's basically a spray of cold air, administered through a wand, ( a bit colder than your freezer air) that targets a specific area. My arm was sore from weight lifting so that's the area I chose. And 24hours later it does feel better! Alex guided me through each of the sessions and was super friendly and knowledgeable! She mentioned they are installing a cryo tub, which will be like sitting in a freezer I imagine. And this way you can do it yourself. I will definitely go back, and update this review. Overall 4/5 stars given the ambience is not like a spa/wellness center right now. read more

The first time I was here was a great experience. The was awesome, she listened attentively, and listened to our concerns. After our treatments we felt a noticeable difference. We have seen her a total of three visits. Amazing experience! I've tried t shock elsewhere & my experiences were night & day. This was a spa experience & I felt valued as a client. Alex was very thorough during my first appointment. She explained how the machine works & what the different treatment options are, as well as laid out a treatment plan to help me best achieve my goals. The treatment bed was comfortable & I had the option to lay & chat or put my headphones in & relax during the treatment. She also explained aftercare. I chose to do the lymphatic drainage suit & it was like a relaxing compression massage. I did pictures before & then 16 hours later & I could already see the results! I'd definitely recommend this experience over a random place that just bought a machine to bring in extra money. read more

This review is so long overdue and specifically related to Jasmine and the various services I've had done with her. She is so awesome, sweet, accommodating and just the best. She's done cry therapy on my back and shoulders for a few months now and it's helped me through the healing process like no other. I love the infrared sauna and red light therapy as well. She's there Monday, Wednesday and Friday's so I always book my appointments around her schedule - she's much more responsive than going through calling or even emailing them, I never got a call back or email response from them - tried multiple times. Finally booked online and met Jasmine - GODSEND! read more

Love their infrared sauna! So clean and perfectly equipped with everything you need. Water & towels, too! The sauna has all the light options to choose from for different benefits.
