I recently helped a friend move, and he had several bags of glass bottles and aluminum cans that I…read morewould have normally thrown away. He suggested we stop by a recycling center nearby where he always takes his recyclables. Honestly, I tried to convince him to just throw them away or leave them outside, because I had a pretty negative impression of recycling centers based on some of the shady ones I see around town. What I expected to be a dirty, disorganized experience, turned out to be the opposite and completely changed my perspective. The facility was clean, organized, and well maintained, and the staff was friendly, courteous, and professional. The entire process was quick, easy, and much more pleasant than I expected. Honestly, If more recycling centers were run like Evergreen Recycling, I think a lot more people, especially those like me, who have a negative stigma about recycling centers, would choose to recycle instead of throwing recyclable materials (and cash) away. Thank you to the Evergreen Recycling team for providing such a positive experience. I wish they operated in my neck of the woods. I highly recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a clean, honest, and professionally run recycling center.
