Located in the west end of the Ralph's parking lot in the Fallbrook Center, Ponce isn't easy to see from the street. That being said, there's plenty of parking! Be sure to separate your bottles, glass and cans into separate bins before the weigh in. This location isn't my first choice - I feel like other recycling centers have a higher redemption rate. But many close earlier on weekends so this location adds convenience with its longer hours. It's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. Customer service is fine.

Nice guys. Always courteous friendly and professional. The review wasn't long enough so I added this.

They are located behind a liquor store. Easy to locate…read more The guys/staff are really nice and kind. They accept all types of recycles. They accept glass, different types of plastic, and aluminum.

We recycle, everybody should. I'm really good at making empty beer cans and wine bottles…read more Admittedly, my system of dealing with the cans is not great. We've been putting all cans, glass bottles, and plastic containers in one tall kitchen garbage can for years. When it's full I just take it to the side of the house and let them stack up. After several months of this practice most of the kitchen garbage bags start to dry out from the Valley sun and tear, shred, and fall apart. Now that I have a giant mountain of cans and bottles I have to re-bag the majority of them. It's a tedious dirty job which I hate. Then drag everything to the recycling center only to get snaked by a place like Recycling Innovations for their low trade in rates. In this situation I will say it's on me. I don't know what the going rate is on aluminum cans. I figured all these places must pay the same thing. I was wrong. I believe this place is paying $1.66 on cans. After spending the better half of the day dealing with my cans and bottles and separating everything, I finally get to this place. What do I get for an entire fully loaded big SUV packed with cans, bottles, and plastic containers? $45.00 bucks. That's it Schmuck-O! "Fool me once, shame on -- shame on you. Fool me -- you can't get fooled again." I took my $45.00 and slinked away. As I was leaving I remember my wife telling me about a place that's honest and you can trust right across the street from Jon's Market. A little hard to find but I found it. JV recycling, 20160 Roscoe Blvd, Winnetka, CA 91306. They were paying $2.00 a pound on aluminum cans. I'm going to assume they were paying more for bottles and plastics too. Sometimes you have to learn the hard way. New Recycling System- Bought two new 32 gallon trash cans from Home Depot. One is for cans and the other is for bottles. When they fill up just take them to JV recycling. No more stockpiling a mountain of dirty cans and wine bottles. I'd rather drop off four or five times a year then go back to the old way.
