Great place, easy access and fair prices. Need a little improvement to the roads but it's totally accessible for this kind of field

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. You have to physically get out of your car and talk to someone behind a glass window customer service is basically non-existent. I only had two items, and they tried to charge me $80 just to drive through the gate. They even have a price guide posted right there, but apparently they just ignore it. Everywhere online shows open until 5pm on Saturdays, they changed their hours. Beware, they close at 2:30 on Saturdays!

Costs are high for a ton, however the layout and speed in and out is nice. Convenient location for all SF valley waste.

Over charged. They hide behind the glass, you have to get out of car. Attendance up top polite but speak little to no English. Purposely misleading. Told it was green waste but I was I Initially charged for solid waste. I had pure green waste but still charged wrong rate when I challenged. Check your back statement. read more

Typical run of the mill landfill. Nice piles. Great chat from those dumpster boys. They put the hard so we can we be safe. Quality trash.

Typical landfill. We organized and nice staff. They do wet the dirt roads to keep dust down which is appreciated.

Thousand Oaks gets a free dump day, then when you ge there, if your pulling a trailer you pay full price... WTF???

At $53 minimum, it's double the cost of Waste Management landfill in Simi. I should've known crossing into cruddy LA it would suck and be twice as expensive. read more

Been here about 70 or so times in the last 10 years. Honestly I've never had a bad experience so I have no idea why this place has a low rating. I guess Negative Nancies will be Negative Nancies. Honestly I'm shocked at all the bad reviews. Not one complaint from me. Clean, simple landfill. read more

This dump was really good before. It's gotten a lot busier and the dumps lines have been getting out of control. Just to pay it takes 30 minutes to an hour. And then when you have to go up to dump it takes a little longer. They need to start opening up 3 weight scales to get these lines moving, and start being more efficient with their process. read more

I came here with my husband to dispose a palm tree we had to cut from our back yard and we got few price quotes from Hauling companies but they were pricey. I have never been here before and had no idea what really happens to trash. I didn't go to the cashier so I am not sure if they are nice or rude but my husband had a easy transaction and paid only $59 dollars for a full truck. When you arrive to the cashier your car will get weight and you will pay for the extra weight. Right after we paid he drove to the top of the mountain where a guy is directing the traffic to ensure a smooth job. The road is well spray to avoid dust. The area overall is clean and organized I was amazed how clean they keep it. read more

This facility is actively hostile to casual users. Here are a few things you are supposed to somehow figure out on your own - the guys in the booth will treat you badly if you don't know. Tarp your load before making your way to the dump. It's an expensive ticket if the cops see you, and in addition the dump will surcharge your load. Pulling up to the booth, it's difficult to see where the scale begins, and the scales are long enough for a semi, but look closely for the join in the pavement. Only one truck at a time on the scale. Remember which scale you checked in on, as you'll need to pull onto the same scale when checking out. Since there are trucks moving both directions on the same scales, you'll need to observe scale etiquette: alternating a truck entering the facility, then next a truck waiting for that scale to exit the facility. Bring your credit card to the window, and if your front license plate isn't visible to the camera, know that number as well. If you are dumping green waste, you will first be charged an initial higher amount. Save the paper with the receipt stapled to it, as you will need to get this stamped by the guy up the hill supervising green waste offloading. If you forget, the booth guys will send you back up the hill. Drive up the hill and follow the signs. You may need to ask someone as there aren't aways enough signs to show you where to go. Having unloaded, located the guy in the yellow vest and collected your stamp (if green waste), go back down the hill to wait in line for the same scale you came in on. Bring the same credit card and your stamped paper back to the booth. They will then ask you to sign a second credit card slip. This is the charge for the correct, lower amount. Wait and don't leave. Then they will ask you to sign a third credit card slip. This is the refund for the first (too much) amount. After returning their pen they will give you your credit card back and your paper with all 3 receipts stapled to it. Pulling out, you may need to drive on the wrong side of the road for a bit. This is because of the poor traffic pattern. Apparently everyone knows to expect this. Having read through to the end of this review, please be exquisitely polite to the gentlemen in the blacked-out booth. Because at the end of the day, they work in garbage. read more

Being 45 mins till closing on a Saturday, I had a long wait to get to the scale & booth- exactly 42 minutes. The prices were posted on the booth, so I knew what I was going to pay for under a ton of regular refuse- $45.50. At the booth, the attendant asked if it was my first time there (must've had "newbie" posted on my face), I answered yes, so he explained how to get to the dump area, which I appreciated because there were no directional signs from where I was. It was easy enough to get to the top of the dump area, and looking to the right I could see that it was all green yard waste, so by deduction, I went to the dumping area on the left. Overall a good experience, saved a bunch of money, just a long wait & not enough signage for someone who's never been there. read more

One of the worst places ever , prices are changing constantly one day would be $48 when the next it could be 71 ( same vehicle getting rid of clean dirt), When you come in to talk to a completely blacked out window so you can see who your talking to.. You better off drive to Sunland or Pasadena. read more
