This is not a review but a reply from the owner of the business to a very bazar review of a person "Tony R" who has never stepped a foot in our business and decided to leave a horrible review and 1star rating. Seems like "Tony R" has a habbit of trashing business in this difficult times, judging by his average reviews out of approximately 50 half got 1 start, very interesting pattern. The reason I have to reply to his review with another review is because this "keyboard warrior" blocked my business from replying to his review therefore limiting my ability to explain what happened to potential customers who read his opinion. So this is what happened: In scrap business, price varies on the amount of materials you are recycling, since recycling companies buy scrap metal with a certain margin. It is pretty simple formula, we purchase copper with a margin of $.15-$.35 per pound, so here is a quick example. If you have 20 pounds of copper we will purchase it @ $2.40 per pound with $.35 margin per pound, this will bring our business $7.00 If you have let's say 300 pounds of copper we will purchase it @$2.55 per pound, this will drop our margin to $.20 per pound and this will bring our business $60 If you have 1000 pounds of copper we will purchase it @ $2.60 per pound, this will drop our margin to $.15 per pound and will bring our business $150 profit. Very easy concept to understand if you are a person with even a little bit of commonsense. Every time you call recycling yard very common questions will be "approximately how much weight do you have " this question is not out of just curiosity but to make sure customer gets fare and accurate quote. "Tony R" for some reason decided to call us 3 different times from 3 different phone number and every time would give different amount of materials he was trying to get a quote for. Every time before I would get a chance to explain how we price materials (explanation above) he would hang up the phone but before he would hang up he would say "F.....ing looser" The bottom line, this person never gave us a chance and based on harassing phone calls made a decision that our business is a rip off. read more

This is my first review ever, but this place i just had to do it.I have been there 4 times already, the cleanest ,best recycling experience i ever had. I scrap copper and brass from my job almost weekly, don't like to carry scrap in my van. It always seems like it takes half a day to recycle something at all the other scrap yards i used to go to, you got 30 people with their beer bottles and cans which lucky for me my woman takes care of somewhere, this place is indoor, clean, they do not except cans and bottles stuff. Another thing that surprised me , there is always someone with you within 1 minute asking me if i need help with my recyclables, if you recycle you know what i mean , your lucky if you find a cart or a container at all places i have been to. I am a Union Electrician who has recycled wire off and on for over 13yrs and I would HIGHLY recommend this be your new go to place. They are very competitively priced, in fact they were the best paying I called, and extremely polite and helpful. With some places its hard to get through on the phone but emails never get answered, not here they responded promptly with all the information that i requested. I brought in over 200lbs of copper wire and was met at my truck right away by someone who could actually help me carry it off instead of dropping it off my truck. The whole process took less than 20min and that was with chit chatting with the workers. I grabbed up some cards and put them at my Dads business for people and will hand the rest out to co-workers. Super recycling facility, cleanest recycling facility i ever seen, super service, super prices. I came there with my friend cause he needed help unloading his scrap metal but when we got there i didn't even need to help cause the staff came out and brought out containers and a wheel cart and did most of the unloading for us and that doesn't usually happen at other places i have been to. I have been there twice already and every time i get super service. This place is indoors which is also different and i like it better than those huge junkyard type of places, i got nails in my truck tires before in one of those places. Super friendly, super helpful and BEST prices for copper wire recycling in the greater Los Angeles area. Emailed them about prices, and other questions, and got lightning fast responses.
