Cruzen Motor Group is one to watch out for. This company will rip you off. I STRONGLY recommend you do NOT come buy any vehicles from this group ever again unless your ready to deal with unprofessional auto owners.
I had previously bought a vehicle from this company and to be honest, this was my first time buying a car by myself and of course the Owners saw that they had a 23 year old by himself so why not take advantage of him.
Well, at first, the salesman (which out of all the people has somewhat empathy towards the people he would sell to) was not letting me test drive the car I wanted (He had to get permission, like ok do you need permission to go to the bathroom too???). The owner then allowed him to test drive the car with me. I didn't floor it to the ground I just simply test drove it as a regular adult to see if I liked it, which I did. Little did I know that this car sat on their lot, was not periodically checked on, not even once, and was just running up miles from test drivers. Their onsite mechanic did not even check the vehicle and told me after I purchased the car. During the paperwork, they wanted me to sign here and there, but did not go over anything in full depth, (which was my fault for not reading between the lines) but they falsely wrote the car miles at much lower than what the ODO read at the time I bought the car, by a 1000 miles. This affects the warranty of the vehicle. I didn't notice it until after I purchased the car and read the paperwork. Also there was a knocking noise coming from the drive shaft that I didn't notice till after I floored the pedal down (Which I will talk about this later in the post). So, I was happy I got the car and didn't notice anything wrong until I drove it more and a little more aggressive. Well turns out the harmonic balancer was not checked (Even though I have a maintenance record of the Owner, Lance, that checked my car, which he didn't, he was watching TV on the couch laying down during business hours, very professional) and was walking too much to the point that the crank bolt loosened and fell off. Well I brought it back to the dealership and told them to fix it, they said okay and replaced what they thought was just a belt for the harmonic balancer, told me it was fine and I drove off again. That's one fix not even a week later. Then, I was on my way to California when the bolt loosened again and I was lucky enough that the harmonic balancer did not fall off and just completely ruin my car or myself getting injured on the freeway. I had to take my vehicle to the mechanic shop in California to get my car fixed through warranty. Not one record showed that this was a problem on the documentation report by Lance. Shocker. I was basically stranded in California with no car and no way of getting home. Initially Cruzen offered to pick me up since they already were going to pick up another car from Sac. and I said why don't you pick up my car instead and bring it to Reno, they said they couldn't book a trailer in Cali so they cant pick up my car. But they could pick up a brand new BMW they bought off an auction. That's when I decided they aren't looking out for my best interest. Had my car fixed at a reputable mechanic shop just to find out that the center carrier bearing was making that knocking sound on the driveshaft, no bushing/rubber left what's so ever. WHO sells someone a car with already (2) things wrong with the car, WHICH was not reported on the maintenance report that Lance handed me. LIAR LIAR. Anyway, they did one thing right which was taking me to California to pick up my car, luckily. Brought it back and had GMC repair the carrier bearing. Moral of the story is that this dealership is just out to rip you a new one. DO NOT BUY ANY VEHICLE FROM THIS SHOP UNLESS YOU HAVE IT PROPERLY LOOKED AT AND MAINTENANCE RECORDS ARE CORRECT. Lance is not professional and shouldn't own a business like this where he lies. They come up as friendly but as soon as you buy the car, they will backstab you. Another example was when I first showed up and asked how to pay the car payment, they said come in to the shop and well help you with that. Well the day came where I had to pay the car payment and I called and the lady in the office (lance's mom) said "We don't help with that call the bank" and hung up. THIS IS WHAT I MEAN BY UNPROFESSIONAL. I will make sure to tell as many people as I can how bad this dealership is.
The only reason I came to this dealership was because the car I bought is rare and I wanted it. Other than that I could care less about Cruzen. I will give 5-stars to Dilip and Jose (their mechanic) but the Owners get negative 5 stars.
