Nice place for some beers and to watch a game or two. The beer was in my opinion just okay but maybe I didn't try enough of them, or maybe they just seemed ok because the food was so good & compared to the pizzas and the soft pretzels not much was going to live up to the food. We went on a pretty quiet weeknight and got really good attentive service and didn't feel rushed at all or ignored. Will definitely be back to try more of the pizzas and other food.

Much improved from previous business, Leaderbar. Place has been updated. Love the backlit TVs, the wood floors, cool pendant lights and the lush blue color. Otherwise, configuration is same. Crust Brewery has a small selection of craft beers for most tastes, as a Tap room should. Luckily had one hazy IPA that I liked. Lots of Lagers. Food selection is a good variety as well, expanded pub fare with some interesting twists, Poke Nachos? Service was generally friendly and good, however they mixed up my order and it came way before my husbands. I said I would keep it and they were extremely gracious about it. Husband loves apple desserts and tried the apple Empanada. Very sweet and not what will make him come back here What will make us go back is it really is a nice neighborhood place; people can walk to. I don't think people will come from other parts of the city, but I think the locals can support it.

Had a lovely girls night at Crust Tap Room! I've been to Crust Brewing in Rosemont and was very excited for this location to open up and they did not disappoint. Food menu is slightly different between the two (This location did not have the Hogs & Kisses Pizza) but otherwise has all the same vibes. The interior is huge and good for date night or large group events. There's a great patio section in back and they have some games like giant connect four and bags. My favorite of the drinks has to be the Orange is the new radler--refreshing, citrusy, and light. Food was great but the service was excellent! Incredibly attentive and friendly staff, constantly clearing tables, ensuring water was plenty and always nearby. Great new addition to the neighborhood!

I love the Rosemont location, so thought I'd join a friend in the Irving Park area to try this offshoot. Food is mid at best, had Korean boneless wings and the Popeye pizza (spinach, ricotta) and added sausage. Three beers and a martini later the bill was settled at $105 (after tip). That's a little more than I wished to spend at a neighborhood bar for pizza on a cracker and drinks that weren't particularly earth shattering. At those prices, I'd much rather continue trekking it to Rosemont where the pizza for some reason tastes better. This locale appears to be a watering hole for every remote-working couple in their 30s and 40s towing a baby stroller within a 6 block radius. It's giving modern-day Red Lobster, sans the crayons and color-in place mats. This further solidified it's not my cup of tea, or in this case, my pint of in-house pale ale. To be fair, Easy Street down the block is really no different when it comes to "meh" food, inflated prices and an army of couples with their children. Where I will give them their props, and where they have the competition beat is the service: 5 stars for sure. Friendly smiling staff. Bartender was on top of things. Hostess greeted guests. Bussers, barbacks and food runners holding it down. Manager on the floor and not cooped up in an office somewhere. Kitchen shuffled out food orderly and timely. My silverware was filthy, but beyond that the service was professional and the space itself was clean. Quite on par with Rosemont in the department of service. Place got busy, quick! That's a good thing and I'm sure the restaurant will do rather well. I'd come back with friends and split a tab. Food and general ambiance was good but not $105 later good. I wouldn't come out of my way to take someone here the same way I would Mima's or Beograd across the street. I could possibly be swayed to return if they had a decent happy hour menu or it repositioned itself as a late night affair. Paying $15 for an uninventive martini in a regular-schmegular part of Chicago at 4 pm? Hard pass, for now at least. Again, I think they'll do well for the patrons they seem to attract.

No low top tables inside, just high tops and booths that require steps. Nice back patio with a TV, which doesn't always work. Wings are good, as is the house amber. The budino dessert looks good on paper but is mostly Cool Whip quality whipped cream; a bit queasy. read more

I have been into Crust Tap room a couple of times, most recently when I got stuck in rain on my walk home. Their bartenders have always been incredibly hospitable to me. They have really reasonably priced food specials, and the dining room is actually really nice and it's a got an old-school Chicago style tavern feel. The pizza is excellent. On my first visit I got the shrimp po boy and Hugo spritz. The fish is fresh and the drink even more refreshing! I would definitely come back here for a fun pizza night, and if you like to watch sports I feel like this is your vibe as well. The day I was there there was actually a class reunion as well, so I think they're available for events! It didn't change my experience of the bar though, which I appreciated! read more

I tried a new pizza at "Crust" this afternoon called "The Sage" which was very good. Their pizza menu is under two categories, "Red Sauce" and "White Pizza". The Sage Pizza is under "white". If you look at my attached photo you"ll see the flecks of sage. Next time I'll try the "Red Sauce", not sure which one. read more

I cant speak to the food, but I stopped in on a Wednesday night before dinner with friends and got a drink here and it was delicious! The service was great - they let me taste a new drink, which ended up leading to me ordering it. The bartender was attentive, engaging, and talked with me and my friend throughout the time we were there. They have seasonal drinks and they are very tasty! read more

Great food, pizza was really good , wings were very good. My family got steak tacos , and they said it was fulfilling. I had a margarita, it was very good and holiday themed. The service was very speedy, food came out very quickly. As a tourist, this bar and grill is family friendly and good for a meal. read more

I'll summarize as: if you're a pizza place, and you RUN OUT OF PIZZA, you should probably make sure your server leads with that info after you wait 20 minutes for him to hit your table at all instead of taking six drink orders down first. I'm glad you're busy (place was absolutely maxed out on a Friday night, good for them) but geez. Server issues aside, the bartender and hostess were busting their asses and were great. Hopefully it's just new business jitters, but we bailed and went to Easy Street down the block instead. read more

Staff and space is amazing. They have good wine. Hubs had the steak frites which was really good. Taking off one star because we have gone twice and both times the pizza had a gummy layer. 2nd visit I asked for it well done and it was still gummy. The crust is very thin, I'm not sure why it's gummy but I didn't like that part. The flavors of the 3 pizzas I've tried were great. I'll definitely go back to try the no pizza food. read more

Great sports bar in the former Leader Bar space! Came here to watch the Bears game on a Sunday. Service was excellent and food was even better! Wings were moist and flavorful - top 2 wings I've ever had. We got the Buffalo and Korean BBQ flavors of wings. Definitely will be back! read more

Fantastic food and service! It's a crime that this place isnt always packed. I come here with my wife all the time and we always have a great experience. Look- its not haute cuisine and it isnt instagrammable. But it's a place you can come with your friends and everyone can have a great time and a delicious meal. Split an appetizer and enjoy some beer. read more

Cheesy bread took longer than it should've. It obviously sat in the kitchen waiting to come out. It was cold and soggy. The chili lime wings were straight up NASTY. I couldn't tell if the meat was bad or if there was like burnt tajin or perhaps burnt plastic on them. They were gross. Three entrees came out separately. For the amount of people working, service was spotty and slow. I think this place probably will not last. Too bad... There's so many better places to go than this place. We will not be back. read more

Went for the first time tonight and enjoyed the outdoor patio. Pizza was really high quality, our weiss beer and house pinot noir were lovely. Our server John was excellent. Constructive criticism to mgmt: Play some music in place of having the ESPN commentators talking throughout the dinner hour! read more

They opened today, needed somewhere to go after a weekend of celebrating my birthday, and thought it would be great to check out how things started. I frequent the Rosemont location because it's next door to my favorite AMC (lol), so I had an idea of how it would go. Here's the deal: perfect service, incredible tavern style pizza, TouchTunes, an insane upgrade from Leader Bar. Can't wait to go back - loved it! read more

The show started at 9pm, so we got there right around 8:30. There was plenty of seats when we got there (though it did start to fill up by around 9:15/9:30). It's no reservations and no cover, which I think makes the experience a little more relaxed. I ordered the red diamond cocktail, which came with mezcal, cognac, hibiscus, lemon, lime, & absinthe. The flavor mix was really good and I'm hoping to try more drinks there. The jazz quintet was great as well. We just stayed for the first set which lasted until about 10:15, but really enjoyed the skilled musicianship. Definitely enjoyed my experience a lot and hope to be back!

Yet, the bartenders greet us with such a warm and friendly energy that I know with absolute certainly that I have been a regular at this bar for years. Decades. Centuries. I know within my soul that this was my go-to bar in a past life (and hopefully in the next). Just as welcoming as the awesome people are the $1 PBRs and $3 shots of tequila. And of course they hand out free hot dogs every night at midnight, which in my (intoxicated) mind was cemented as the definitive Chicago dog, even if it comes with no toppings whatsoever. And fittingly complementing the amazing energy of the bar is a 10 hour Youtube video of that memed Ukrainian kid dancing at a club playing endlessly on the TVs. Rocking sunglasses and looking like a stud, absolutely grooving without a single care in the world, and effortlessly matching every single song on the bar's playlist. That kid truly embodies the spirit of this bar. No matter what day it is, what time of day it is, or who visits, the bar's energy always works. Vibing to Black Eyed Peas on a Monday night never felt better. Imma be... back one day, rest assured. I genuinely can't wait for the next time I'm greeted with, "Welcome back."

I am a salt girl but even without clear shards fo salt on each chip these were the perfect amount. the dip was cool and creamy, more of a tzhaiki like coolness than a zingy guilt ridden onion dip - I tried the Agnolotti purely to eat purple pasta. the inside was filled with beet puree and ricotta making the dish hearty and filling. it was slightly earthy as the beet flavor powered through more than just the light sweet sauce. the roe on top miraculously made the dish slightly fishy everywhere to the degree where I asked the waiter if there was fish inside the pasta.....I loved it - the Cappellacci was a flavor rollercoaster. right away you taste the sweet summer squash, a warm and comforting taste. as you swallow your throat is punched with a chili kick. all on top of cloud like pasta pieces - the Pappardelle was about the pasta, the al dente thick cuts showcased the housemate pasta. maintaining an al dente doughy goodness with the quality of the ingredients keeping the pasta fresh and far from what comes in a box.

I'll preface by saying that the Corn Maiz drink was my favorite thing I got from Kasama. It has a strong corn flavor that blends perfectly with the milk tea. This is a 10/10 no notes. Ube latte was also tasty. For food I ordered a ton of things: -Longanisa Egg and Cheese Sandwich w a hash brown: was surprisingly just okay IMO. Egg is very uniquely fluffy, more like a steamed egg than a scramble! The rest of the sandwich was tasty but nothing special. -Filipino Breakfast Platter w both meats: the Tocino is delish! IMO the better of the two breakfast meats. Garlic rice is good, but i always love garlic rice. -Italian Beef Eggrolls: so crispy and delicious with the gardeneira dipping sauce! Weekends only item- be sure to try! -Lumpia: so crispy and flavorful, they really fry things well here. -Matcha Pandan Eclair: the choux was pipped on top, and was so fluffy and delicious. The crispy rice inside the shell added a fun texture. This was my favorite pastry! -Truffle Croissant: lamination was good, flavors were a bit weird. Was overly sweet from the rock sugar + honey, so much that it overpowered the truffle IMO which is hard to do. -Guava and cheese ensaymada: very fluffy brioche with yummy filling. This was good, really wanted to try the ube one but they were out :( -Ube and Huckleberry basque cake: very rich! Was suggested this instead of the ube ensaymada and it was definitely more huckleberry than ube. Tasty though. Overall this spot was good and certain things (corn maiz drink, pandan eclair, Italian beef eggrolls) were worth the wait while others are overhyped. I would definitely order ahead next time for take out or sit inside- cute indoor and outdoor seating options!

The crust was thin and crispy, with a large air cavity, making it very soft and fluffy. The salted egg yolk has just the right balance of sweetness and saltiness, and wasn't too cloying. Garlic Cheese Brioche Bun蒜香奶酪麵包: Perhaps its more Taiwanese name is "八蒜包" (Eight Garlic Bun). Its appearance and taste were very similar to those I've had at Taiwanese bakeries in mainland China. The cheese and garlic flavors were very strong, but the bread itself was slightly coarse. Hojicha Latte: The whole milk was very milky, but the hojicha flavor felt a little weak.
