You order at the counter, it took us a few minutes to look the menu over and decide. We all ordered pizzas with different type crusts and toppings. A few of our group also ordered salads, I chose not to. The salads came out super fast and looked good, they top the salad with big shaved pieces of carrots which gave the salads a really nice look. My friends all enjoyed them. Then the pizzas came out, one friend got the Grandma Pie with a nice thick crust. Another got the Godfather and I ended up getting a veggie topped one with mushrooms, onion, green bell pepper and black olives and one half of the pie also had spinach. My pie was really good, they must have a really good and hot oven as my pie was crispy with the thin NY style crust and jus the slightest bit of char on the rolled edges. About the only thing that I'm knocking off a point for was the cost, these pizzas aren't cheap like the usual chain pizzas are. My 14 inch pizza with tax and a small tip was $39 and change! Now, I did bring half home so I guess it will cover 2 meals but still, that seems like a lot for a pizza. I know that since Covid, operating costs are up, as are rents and labor. I sort of wish they offered a smaller lunch size like 8-10 inches round.

When I looked at the bag, I noticed that the sauces had spilled because the lids were not closed properly. The sauces were all over the napkins, utensils, and pita bread. I was willing to overlook that as an honest mistake. However, when I looked at the actual food, the portions were significantly smaller than what we had received during our previous visits. I thought perhaps online orders received different portions, so again, I was willing to let it go. Then I noticed that the pita chips were missing, despite being part of the order. I had also requested extra pickled onions, but there were barely any. At that point, I decided to go back to the restaurant to have the order corrected. What should have been a simple situation turned into another 30 minutes of driving back and forth and waiting for the food to be remade. What was most disappointing, however, was the customer service. The employees appeared frustrated and annoyed that we had returned and needed the order corrected. Rather than feeling like they wanted to help resolve the issue, we felt like we were inconveniencing them. We were also left waiting while employees helped other customers who had gotten in line behind us. Mistakes happen. I completely understand that. Food gets left out of orders, lids don't always get closed properly, and things can be missed during a busy shift. What matters is how you treat the customer when a mistake happens. In my experience, when a restaurant makes a mistake, the staff typically apologizes, fixes the issue, and makes the customer feel valued. Unfortunately, that was not our experience last night. After being so impressed with our first two visits, this was honestly one of the worst customer-service experiences we've had at a restaurant. I hope management sees this and uses it as an opportunity to address what happened and ensure customers are treated with kindness and respect when something goes wrong. Since it was our first visit, our waiter took the time to recommend some of the restaurant's favorites. The manager also stopped by our table to check on our experience. When we told her how kind and attentive our waiter had been, she surprised us with a complimentary Parry's beer cup and bottle opener. The food was fresh, delicious, and exceeded our expectations. The garlic knots were incredibly soft, buttery, and packed with garlic flavor. The atmosphere was perfect for watching the game, and the customer service turned what could have been a negative first impression into a memorable experience. We'll definitely be back!
