I've been an Insomnia Cookie fan for years and had never had Crumbl so I decided to give them a try. The Niles location has two kiosks for placing your order but only one was working, so there was a line. They have two sizes of cookies and you see exactly what is available versus what is sold out, among the flavors which change every week. We ordered two of the larger sized standard chocolate chip, and several of the smaller ones which is a better portion size for me because they are rich. The smaller ones were a softer, gummier texture like cake, which I was not expecting. I loved the pumpkin and my daughter loved the pink velvet which is like red velvet, I just didn't like the texture so much. It was $9.99 for three. The larger cookies are $4.99 each and they are a good size to share if you don't want too much. They have packs if you need larger orders but it can be expensive. I would get them every once in a while but not a regular thing. read more

So Crumbl cookie was advertising free cookies today, Nov 6th all day. Between 530-745 we came into the store three different times for cookies. The employees initially said they were baking more, then on the second attempt they said they are backed up still, and on the third and final try, they said they were sold out. I asked them why are you claiming "free cookies all day" on the advertising. They had no response. It's not about the free cookie, it's about the negative deceptive practices this drew to the company. Just put a negative taste in all our mouths. read more

I was on an important call when someone rang my doorbell, I thought it was someone lost so I ignored it but the ringing wouldn't stop. So I peeked outside and it was a guy with a mask on and a pink box, I thought....hmmmm....I didn't order anything?? That's strange. After chatting with him to see who should be getting this box, it turned out to be for me!! Hip, hip, hooray!! Thank you, thank you, thank you - you are very thoughtful!! May this gratefulness reach you through the ether. I had no idea there was a Crumbl cookies just 8 minutes away from me. I had never had their cookies before. And these are gigantic and heavy. The box had a nice weight to it. I received 3 cookie types - fudge galaxy, wedding cake and chocolate chip. All 3 were great but the wedding cake icing was thee best. I just loved eating that icing throughout the week. I made these oversized cookies last at least 10 days. I see that there are other cookie flavors, I'll have to head over there and get more wedding cake cookies and try something new. read more

Sometimes, all you need is a Crumbl Cookie So thankful for my students for bringing the classroom @crumblcookies it was such a sweet surprise! I was so excited for the line up this week but unfortunately we didn't get all the cookies that are featured:( I really wanted to try the lemon one so bad those are my FAVORITE! However I did try the raspberry, chocolate cake, and pink velvet cookies, and they were soooo good! If you love cheesecake then you'll have to get this raspberry cheesecake cookies it's like you're eating a mini cheesecake honestly, you can't even tell it's a cookie! Although I've been to many Crumbl cookie stores, it was time to make an honest review. The stores, as the one I visited here, are all well lit and very bright. The workers there are all friendly, and will explain any questions you might have. The interior design looks modern, sort-of like a mini bakery in the back, and it is styled for just ordering for take-out. The store will alternate different flavors, and the employees are all friendly and helpful with any questions you might have. Now when it comes to the food, I have to be completely honest in my review. I have a crazy sweet tooth, and I absolutely love soft bake cookies. Even my family knows this. But Crumbl cookie will make you feel so full after, that you will want to take a month off from eating anything sweet. The smaller sized cookies are only offered on Mondays or for catering. There regular sized cookies, as the one I ordered, are just so filling that it seems like an overload. I really wish they offered smaller portions. You feel obligated to only get 1-2 cookies because of how heavy they are, but you are also interested in trying the other flavors. After having their cookie, I felt like I need a break from all cookies for the next month. I think the overall business concept, service, and modern look are all great at this restaurant. But if they can slightly cater to people who just want a small, sweet snack it would accommodate many more people. I ordered the "classic" chocolate chip cookie and the French toast flavored style cookie. Each cookie was $4.99.They were both tasty, but after the second or third bite I was feeling incredibly full. This brand new location is beautiful! It just opened mid-December, and I couldn't be more excited to not have to push into the city to get these cookies. My biggest locational qualm here is the parking lot, which can be kind of a nightmare if it's really busy. This location is well lit, super clean, and has been well staffed. There are two self-order tablets which were also clean, and easy to use - I had no issue. There are also two tablets for staff to take your order, as well. My visit was uneventful in a good way! The menu had churro cookies on it, but after ordering they let me know they weren't ready yet, which was no problem and I threw in a good ole chocolate chip instead. Staff were friendly, I took a photo against the pink wall, and made the house happy when I got home with a box of cookies. Every week is new flavors, but eggnog and red velvet white chocolate are both winners for me! Will definitely be back to this location. read more

Very fancy Web app for ordering cookies, that's pretty much all they have going for them. Placed an order using their application, expecting to pick up the cookies when the app said they would be available. Was very surprised to learn that they only had one type of cookie available, and if I didn't want to, accept that, I had to wait over 20 minutes to receive the original order. It mystifies me that they wouldn't start baking the cookies as soon as they got the order. Like why would you wait for the person to show up and then just try to get them to change their order instead of baking what they specifically requested. Plus paying $16 for four cookies is already sus, and then having to wait 50 minutes from the time you ordered them on the app to the time that they are available is pretty pathetic if you ask me. Definitely learned my lesson and will not be back. Shift lead Cesar was incredibly rude when I asked him why it took in total and over an hour for my cookies. Came to this location not that long ago and was disappointed with the service. I walked in and was the only customer in the store. Was not greeted and employees just stared at me and started talking amongst themselves while saying how much they hate their job and they don't care anymore. I waited at least 10 minutes before my order was started, while waiting the employee making my order (while wearing gloves) was touching his phone, his face, and other surfaces and never changed his gloves. Which was beyond gross. I had placed a mobile order and after standing there for 5 minutes still not welcomed. An employee shout from across the room, "WERE OUT OF PINK SUGAR WHAT YOU WANT?" Not realizing he was talking to me because it was beyond rude and unprofessional. I looked up and he said again "WERE OUT OF PINK SUGAR WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT?" I said it didn't matter whatever was easier for them as they already seemed frustrated. After waiting about 15 minutes for a mobile order, there are not 4 other customers in the store and none of them were greeted either and some needed to be taken care of as they were paying cash and another employee annoyingly said "If your paying with cash you have to say something." But never greeted any of us. After waiting, he threw the cookies on the counter and just looked at me. I asked if they were for *my name* and he just nodded his head. This was an awful experience. We had a very unfortunate experience tonight at this Touhy location. My daughter and I were waiting for over 20 mins for our pick up order. When we first arrived we were told it would be 6 minutes for the Oreo cookies to warm up. 15 mins later we were then told it would be 3 more minutes. After waiting a total of 30 minutes for 6 cookies and seeing many other people's orders being filled during this time I then enquired for a third time why it was taking so long. the associate Jacob then began to be very rude, harassing me about my questions and gas lighting me to be the problem because he was too busy, that I need to wait my turn (I was the first person there in an empty store) and that he would get to us. His attitude and tone was completely unacceptable. The way that I was spoken to was infuriating. Especially in front of my 8 year old daughter. Jacob rudely and dramatically said he would stop everything to make my order because I was making a big deal about it. At this point the situation was escalating and Another woman in the store as well told me I should just leave because he was getting so heated. I told him to cancel my order and asked for the managers name. He said there was not one. I asked for his name. He started obnoxiously yelling "Jacob Jacob Jacob" I have never experienced such a horrible level of customer service. There was another associate working and she kept her head down and did not acknowledge this interaction which makes me believe that she was fearful of his behavior as well. I hope he never treats anyone like this again. He did not cancel my order so my husband went back in and Jacob also treated him very poorly. Calling me a spaz and threatening him with scissors and told him to leave and that he hopes he crashes his car and dies. We used to frequent this location and will no longer order from here. We will also be sure to tell all of our friends to avoid this location as well. We will be taking this situation to management to be addressed. read more
