I received a box of cookies for my birthday from a friend. I got the butterfinger, peppermint, chocolate chip, and twix cookies. The chocolate chip is not good. The peppermint is good but it's very sweet. I've walked into crumbl one time and it was such a disorganized mess that I left. The cookies here are to die for. The menu constantly rotates, so there are constantly new choices. The cookies are also so big I can only eat half of one at a time. Some of the best cookies I've had in a while! The line may be long at times, but it's definitely worth it if you have a sweet tooth! My personal favorites are the Passion Fruit and the NillaBean Cupcakes! I also love that they change the flavors every week; the only down side is that some of the cookies may not be your preference, but they keep the Milk Chocolate Chip every time. Cookies were good, but one of the cookies the company gave us was not right and I didn't get the one cookie I was hoping to try. When I called the store they were not friendly, especially when I told them I couldn't drive to them to get it. I'm from out of town, which by is why I used Uber and told them that. After being on hold she asked, in a very rude way, that I was absolutely sure I couldn't drive to them. The tone was accusing and unnecessary! Also very rude to expect the driver to have to spend more money to come to you. Terrible customer service and I'm a first time customer. NOT impressed!!! For the price I expect better customer service not just delicious cookies. Offered refund, but with customer service like that I'm hesitant to go back to any location. Overrated. Great dessert, don't know if I'd call them a cookie. They are more like cake. I don't get the hype. Don't get me wrong, they are sweet so if you're in the mood for a sweet bite it will suffice. However, for the cost and the fact that they aren't true cookies, I have to give them only 3 stars. I will say, the service was impeccable! Everyone we encountered was pleasant and seemed to enjoy their job. We probably won't be back though. I attempted several times, a few times just drove by to see how long the line was and all the while I thought, " what is the big deal" yes- opening day of any business most likely- but, I was now determined to check it out. Fourth attempt, the line was tolerable and I took a chance- walking in, the Crumbl Bumbl's, busy as bees, creating the sugary sweets, all chime a genuine welcome, you feel it, smell it and anticipation builds. There are self serve order stations or as I prefer- in person and so I approach with a kind encouragement from who appeared to be the owner or manager on duty. The flavors of the week on full display, easy ordering by selecting a full rendition picture of the cookie you wish to purchase- with ease, I selected, provided my name and in the intimate sized waiting area- with several others eagerly awaiting their name to be called- watched the Crumbl Bumbls seamlessly and happily hand construct each confectionery creation. My name is called and to what I can presume, the Crumbl Bumbl Ambassador of Awesomeness- proudly presents my prized pink box of cookies opened for review. You can't make up the shear pride that crossed her face as she turns them towards me for inspection- I am dumbfounded at the beauty in presentation and artful display my choices presented side by side- pride in making a thorough solid selection lifts head to greet hers and a knowing smile graced us both. Pleasantries and departure exchanges trail as I exit. But how do they TASTE? Warm cookies are warm and chilled cookies noted are likely served chilled as the menu states, for which I had none. I hopped in the car, eager to see just what the fuss was- the chocolate chip chippery was my first- the name I have since named it as the first stolen broken corner I nabbed for a precursor nibble quite frankly- The slight and I mean slight crunch of very thin layer breaks easily away to the most delicious chewiest, gooiest chocolatey chunk cookies I have ever tasted with deep regret not having bought MORE! The sweetness is not over the top must have milk, it is a perfect essence of the classic yet served warm and assuming their secret recipe that makes it so decadent. I'm from Hawaii and we just had a Crumbl open in Kapolei a few weeks ago but I have not yet had the chance to get out to that side so I was excited to see that there was one in Augusta that I could go to while I visited my daughter. Well, I didn't know that this location also just opened until after I went there but luckily the line to order wasn't long at all (I was 2nd in line to order). There were a lot of workers but service is horrifically slow. Also, I wanted to get the brownie cookie without the peanut butter as I have someone with a peanut allergy but apparently they couldn't do that and not sure why since it's just placed on top of the cookie but oh well. Cookies are decent but in Hawaii we also have Cookie Corner which is much better and the cookies can be gifted, etc. unlike Crumbl. I can see that this is a fad of sort and I hope they do well as I wish anyone venturing out into their own business success but I would suggest perhaps a flavor menu with days of flavors so people can plan ahead and quicker service as I don't know how long people would be willing to wait in long, slow moving lines. read more
