Disclaimer: due to the current Covid situation, I have not actually been INTO Crumbl. I have had their cookies a couple of times via curbside pickup. While I do have to say that some of their flavors can be tooth-hurting sweet, overall I've been very pleased with their flavor variety! Some personal favorites have been red velvet, cookies & cream, and lemon. To me they taste like a hybrid of a cookie and a cupcake! I stopped in today to give Crumbl a try. I appreciate their attention to the Covid crisis as they offer walk-in, curbside pickup, delivery, and plexi-glass guards which is much appreciated. The staff was hard at work making cookies and the service I was provided with was friendly. I decided to purchase the 4 cookie box and one ice cream. Here are my reviews of the cookies I tried. 1. Churro - Soft, with the right amount of cinnamon and the frosting is flavorful. I also like the sweet/salty balance of the cookie. 2. Chocolate Chip - Crunchy on the edges a slightly soft in the middle. It had a good amount of chocolate in it but not very flavorful. It was a decent cookie but not as unique as the Churro in flavor. 3. S'mores - This one tasted exactly like the Chocolate Chip but with a little bit of marshmallow on top. 4. Chilled Sugar Cookie - Super soft, good crumb, delicious icing with a hint of almond flavor. Very delicious! 5. Raspberry Cheesecake Iced Cream - Good amount of Raspberry syrup. The ice cream itself was fine, nothing out of the ordinary. I was a bit disappointed as the photo and description listed chunks of cheesecake and there was none in mine. Overall, much like a lot of bakeries or restaurants, not every item is going to hit it out of the park however, Crumbl has a rotating menu and they have some standouts like the Chilled Sugar Cookie I can definitely see being a crowd favorite especially with kids. My only criticisms are the price and packaging. While they are a good size, $4.00 feels a bit pricey, I would say $3.00 would be a good price point to start out with and for special cookies like their Almond Joy or Buckeye that has more toppings on it, I could see charging $4.00 but not for a sugar cookie. Also, the packaging. Crumbl has adorable pink boxes but they are pretty large and feels like a lot of waste. I hope they find some more environmentally friendly ways to package their cookies in the near future. Other than those 2 items, I would've given 4 stars. While I like their cookies for the most part, I think it will just remain a treat or something I will purchase as a birthday present for friends as they deliver. read more

I wanted to love Crumbl cookies, and this is where I really wish half Star was an option. They have a 3.5 overall, and thats exactly how I feel about them. The cookies are expensive. And for that price, I want amazing. I saw friends rave about them so we ordered some. They are a good sized cookie, and they taste good. They have some unique flavors too, but they are just a decent cookie. Not mind blowing, spectacular, out of this world $4 cookie good. But if you are in the area and have a cookie craving, this will hit the spot. The flavors change weekly I believe, which can be good or bad. Good if you like the variety, bad id you find a favorite and can't get it or you don't like/want any of the unique flavors of the week. We went on a dulce de leche cookie week, and it was definitely superior to the sugar cookie. For the cookie alone I'd have given 3 stars, but I rounded up as the online ordering is easy and the process for it is great. The staff is also really friendly, and efficient, and we got the correct order packaged nicely. There are better cookie places in town for better prices, but if you are on this side of town and craving a cookie, it's a good treat. read more

I stopped at Crumbl for the first time today. Any time I go to a new bakery, I get a chocolate chip cookie as a measuring stick. They had oatmeal chocolate chip, too, which is one of my favorites so I was very excited and got both the regular and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. (Both have milk chocolate chips, not semi-sweet or dark chocolate.) My first impression upon entering was that the store was so loud--loud to the point that I had to repeat multiple times and lean toward the cashier multiple times to hear and be heard. I guess this is a good reason to use the app and curbside pickup. (This would be easier with lipreading but since masks are required--which I am very grateful for--it was tough.) The cookies are tasty and large. The flip side of that coin is that they're extremely sweet and so thick that they're very under baked. I love a sweet and chewy cookie, but these were a bit much for me. I cut my first one into quarters and saved 3/4s for later. If you're into very sweet and under baked--this is the spot for you. If not, just beware. The cookies are big and so is the price tag, at $4 each. At that price point, these are less likely to make their way into my bakery rotation. read more

My wife got many "you must go here" recommendations from co-workers, so one day we decided to go and try them. We got the party box and a ice cream carrier. Inside is very artsy and nicely decorated. When we went in we were at the beginning of covid-19 and no one was wearing a mask, at the time there wasn't curbside option. The cookies were a meh... and for the price of $33 for dozen cookies is way to much for some meh cookies. Also the ice cream was also a meh and the flavors were bland and not memorable. That's the last time I will shop here. Just left a few minutes ago. Lunch time, almost empty. I picked two cookies. Ariane, bored and not friendly at all, asked me to leave a tip. Let's be clear: tone is everything. You can politely suggest, while being friendly. This wasn't that. She didn't even look me in the eye. In effect, the message was, GIMME A TIP IT'S EXPECTED. Really? I paused, but tipped anyway. Bad move. Tips are earned, not demanded. I used the toilet, came back, and waited and waited, while new people came in, ordered, took their cookies and left. And waited. And waited. Finally I returned to the cash desk and quietly asked Miss Bored Don't Bother Me Ariane if there was a way to get my order. She took GREAT offense, and told me that she was RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF SOMETHING HERE, God help me that a customer who has already paid and tipped might actually get what they paid and tipped her for. Finally another woman handed me my cookies, at which point I told them I was doing this. I give feedback. You do a great job, I will happily say so. You do a crap job, unfortunately, I will also say so. Look. I have been in the habit of tipping much more to people because I am grateful that they are working and we can eat out. However this child needs a job in a mailroom, FAR away from customers. If you cannot hire and train people to remember that they are in a service industry, that manners and courtesy in a public facing concern are part of what gets you customers, then you shouldn't be in business.
