Crumbl reminds me of the days of the cupcakery craze. You read that right, cupcakery not bakery, where frosted dome cakelettes sat available in abundance. We kept the frosting, but switched to cookies, and now everywhere you turn you find a "new weekly flavors" concept cookie shop. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Crumbl was the OG on this one (the rotating flavor cookie shop, not cookie shops in general)? That being said, I've always admired Crumbl as a concept. They're smart with their marketing and they know their audience. I no longer think I am a part of that audience. This was my first trip in years, but the store still felt familiar. Iconic pink boxes, visible bakers, self serve kiosks, and the strong smell of...well, baking. What's new however is the ordering system. Sat side by side, you select your dessert preferences (as you know, they've expanded beyond cookies), BUT when a selection is made, the screen shows how many of that item remain. Apart from 1 selection, every item I choose stated "only 1 remaining". Positioned next to another patron ordering from the kiosk I found myself victim to classic human behavior, rushing to press the buttons and complete the transaction as if I in some way needed that last cookie, and honestly, I'm not the biggest fan of companies using I/O to exploit human behavior. So, as I waited for my desserts, I felt terrible. Was the counter accurate- probably not, they're continuously baking cookies in full view after all, but I still let it influence my behavior. The girl beside me ordering from the kiosk was no more than 16. She arrived before me, and I found her standing at the counter when I arrived. She was either ignored when attempting to order, or still making her selection using the visual counter mock cookies as her guide. Either way, although her name appeared before mine in the visual queue, I received my order first. So, auntie B came out and checked in on her, and ensured she was able to order and receive her order. I stayed with her until she did. Knowing this biz is generally on top of their customer service, this may have been a one off. I saved the product for last because we've all experienced this style of cookie. Previously, I loved a little Crumbl cookie treat, but the second it hit my mouth I winced...these babies are sickeningly sweet, huge, and very sweet including the two weekly desserts I tried- tres leches and Nutella cheesecake. I no longer take gambles with my calories unless I know the item is satisfying. For me, these aren't it, but for you, they might be. I'm not sure exactly which parts of this experience rubbed me the wrong way, the treatment of the young girl (of which I don't have the full story), the product (which is not for me, although if the experience was amazing doesn't discourage me from giving a biz 5 star), the parking, or something else, but I'll have to save Crumbl for those who love it, and find a bakery elsewhere. Although it wasn't my favorite experience, I appreciate the biz and everyone in it who works so hard to make this concept possible. read more

Stopped by because I really wanted to try the eggnog tres leches cake. It did not disappoint!the staff was friendly and the store looked clean. I ended up getting 4 cookies: Eggnog Tres leches cake It is so soft and the whipped cream on top is not too sweet. Perfect blend! Brookie pie The brownie is so gooey and the cookie crust is delicious. It's not too dry and perfectly baked without being too crispy! Raspberry butter cake Not my favorite but the raspberry jam is delicious! Peanut butter cup It is a wonderful peanut butter cookie but it's a little salty got my liking. read more

I had a pumpkin and a silk pie , I wanted the chocolate chip pie but it was not available at the time. Honestly these were good! So I'm a fan! Good lineup this week! I went in and got my cookies within 2-4 minutes of ordering. Super quick service and I love being able to order on their iPads. I'm glad they had all the cookies in stock because sometimes they don't. Yo ion really care for this price increase they got going on but everything is increasing these days so I'm not going to complain about that any further. But I'm just saying...$13 for 4 cookies got a bih rethinking thangs! They were $11 a year ago...gotta leave these cookies alone, man! There is beauty in variety but I will admit, sometimes I get irritated that they change their cookies every week. Sometimes I want cookies they had many weeks ago and can't get it booooooo. Overall, the cookies are pretty big and taste good. I've had one off-putting experience when one of the workers had a loud ass aggressive sneeze while preparing cookies. She was wearing a mask but when I read that droplets seep out, I could not eat those cookies in peace. It was an awkward exchange even though I was trying to be discreet when I told them. It became a scene and honestly I wish I hadn't returned the following visit which wasn't too long after the incident. I'm 100% certain they remembered me and I felt like the cookie quality was not good (in twisted universe, the same girl made those next cookies!) Chile I can't...I barely ate them! I've returned only once since then cause honestly the cookies aren't good enough for me to drive to the Bridgeland location for a new store while this location is almost literally in my back door. read more

Soft, super tasty, gorgeous to look at. The presentation of these cookies are beautiful, wonderful for an event like baby shower, birthday, even wedding. The cookies are soft with awesome toppings including fresh fruit & real caramel that melts all gooey. What more can you ask for. Try them, you won't be disappointed! Never heard of Crumbl before, heard they were giving away free cookies on Grand Opening day, so I went late at night to sample. There was a line out the door still but it was moving fast. Once I got to the register and saw the menu, it was pretty clear cut on what the menu was. Not extensive at all 6 different cookies which changes every week aside from 1 or 2 that stay the same. Since I went late they were sold out of 2 flavors already, but I tried the regular chocolate chip (free), circus animal, s'mores, peanut butter brownie. First thing to notice, these cookies are big...bigger than another popular cookie delivery service. Also Crumbl stays true to the name, when you break them apart it crumbles with ease...can get messy if you were in a moving car. Nonetheless, they were all excellent cookies. Other than that, please expand delivery service in Cypress alone. Hope that's in the works. read more

I loved the Chocolate Chip and one of the rotating flavors of the week-- the Pancake cookie. Both were so delicious. The chocolate chip one is especially rich and buttery. It was fun trying the different flavors. You place your order using their iPads (kind of ew to think about touching an iPad that so many others have touched, but at least they have hand sanitizer right there). Some cookies are served warm, others served chilled. Just depends on the flavor. The Old Fashioned Doughnut cookie and the Banana Bread cookie were ok, I wouldn't get them again, and the frosted cookie was good but there was sooo much frosting that it made it super sweet. But I guess you can scrape off some of the frosting to customize the sweetness. They also have a selection of creams that you can buy, but all were apparently sold out when I was there. I am assuming the creams are for dipping your cookie in and/or making cookie sandwiches. read more

I've been eyeing this Churro cookie that keeps popping up on my FB Ads. After discovering that Crumbl does weekly flavor rotations, I knew I had to act before I lose the chance to meet the potential love of my life. Parking is plentiful, but since the plaza is quite crowded, it can be tricky to find a spot that's close to the shop. Upon entering, I was pretty pleased with the cleanliness and efficiency of the business. There were 2 tablets on the right from which you can order from and pay. You also have the option of paying at the registers. They do not accept cash. I placed an order for the churro cookie, and within a few minutes, my order was brought out in a cute little pink box and was shown the cookie by a team member to make sure it's to my liking. Finally when I got to the car, I was ready to take my bite while it was warm. And Hoooollyy Frick. I can't even understand how this was so good! The outside of the cookie had a slight crisp, and the center was warm and gooey. The cinnamon was plentiful and the icing was... well icing on the cookie. It was sweet but I didn't find it overwhelmingly sweet. It was a really thick and big cookie, so I saved half for later. Now I'm excited to see what the next rotating flavors are. Not a fan. The cookies are huge and overwhelming. You can probably share a cookie with 3 other people and it would be just right. I had the Nutella Sea Salt, could definitely taste the nutella, but not the sea salt. Took me three days to finish because it was so overwhelming. I also had their buckeye brownie ice cream, there was no chunks of brownie in it. If there was they were too small to notice. Don't waste your money on the ice cream. While it looks great in the pictures, it's just a pint you grab from a freezer. Does not taste any special. read more

They have a variety of flavors such as Reese's peanut butter cup, double trouble, and sour patch sugar cookies. The cookies themselves have a soft yet crumbly texture to them and aren't overly sweet. My husband and I went to the grand opening today 1/17/20. They were giving away free chocolate chip cookies to everyone. The line was super long but moved really fast. They were having a hard time keeping the chocolate chip cookies in stock. As we waited in line a manager came and said they were out of the chilled sugar cookies and another cookie. After placing our order we had to wait at another counter. The manager made another announcement that the were cooking more CC cookies but they will be ready in 5-6 minutes. There was so many people inside the store waiting and more people in line trying to enter that you could not move. After a few minutes we received our order and our free cookies. We sat outside & ate our chocolate chip cookies. The cookie was a still warm and had a lot of large chocolate chips in it. Our cookies were raw in the middle. The part of the cookie that was cooked was delicious. It has great potential. I'm going to give them a slide on that because they were swamped. Beautiful store! Employees were sweet. The one who delivers the cookies likes to slide (skid?) on the floor as he hands you the cookies which I found oddly amusing. At first I scoffed at the idea of paying $11 for 4 cookies but then you see how big they are and it all makes sense. They're bigger than your face! As for the flavors, we chose Churro, Lemon, S'mores brownie and Peppermint Oreo. The churro was definitely the stand out of the bunch. Essentially a giant snickerdoodle, perfectly soft and cinnamon-y. The lemon had the texture of shortbread cookies but the lemon flavor was disappointingly lacking. The s'mores brownie was basically just that, a brownie with a marshmallow melted on it. The peppermint Oreo intrigued us with what seemed like a unique combo. The cookie was all peppermint and had that same ultra soft texture as those grocery store brand sugar cookies (which I love) but don't want to pay $4 for. All in all, Crumbl hasn't dethroned TIFF's as my go-to cookie destination yet but definitely worth a second visit to try more flavors! read more

Updated review...my son asked me to stop in and get him a cookie. It wasn't even cooked all the way through. Dropped one star from rating for this. The inside was literally mush and cold and the outer edges were crisp and warm. Been seeing stuff on the neighborhood Facebook page about this place so I was I intrigued. I'm normally let down with food or bakeries in cypress just because I'm all over Houston and have had so many different places. Great location to bring in all the people from Fairfield. I like the look of the place, very cool concept. The staff is very friendly and had great customer service. Now almost $4 for a cookie is a little off putting considering that's what I pay for gourmet cupcakes. So instead I chose the 4 for $11...the snicker doodle, Oreo, sugar cookie and chocolate chip. It took quite a while, about 15 minutes for the cookies. I was impressed with the presentation. Tried a piece of the first one and it had good flavor but the dough wasn't right. It was more like biting into the Keebler sugar cookies. Definitely a cool concept though. All the cookies had good flavor, I'm just not a fan of the dough. Very dry.
