A nice eco-friendly touch. The service: just lovely. The flavors: I never thought I'd like pineapple in my ice cream, but the pineapple upside down cake took me back to the kitchen of my childhood (it was one of my mom's specialties,) and the pineapple didn't interfere, wasn't weird or chewy...it just blended so well with all the other flavors and textures. She claimed I only paid for one, but I clearly see in my order that it's $7 per drink. This means that last time, I didn't say anything even though I should have. So, she didn't want to honor that, and I basically said I didn't want the drink because how does a store employee not know their own drink menu prices? Last minute, she had someone else remake my drink, and it's the person who usually does my order, so I felt bad for him obviously, but I think DD should make it less confusing because their receipt shows x1 instead of x2. Anyway, this makes it look very embarrassing on my part since she was very unsympathetic/not understanding at first. But, I was more upset about the regular milk part since I'm lactose intolerant and cannot stand cow's milk. I would have left less stars, but since they did remake the drink in the end, and he also I think put a little more ube in there, I feel they did redeem themselves. Instead of simply picking up the paper and placing it in the basket herself, she rudely and purposefully ordered me to throw it in the basket, even though it was not on my side. She also mumbled so quickly and dismissively when explaining the drinks and walked away that we actually had to ask again just to figure out which was which. From start to finish, her attitude was incredibly cold, rude, and unprofessional. She made our entire group feel unwelcome and upset. While we decided to let it go in the moment because she is immature but this was completely unacceptable customer service. This used to be the only location I regularly visited near my house, but because of her behavior, I will not be returning.
