Curbside service was prompt and accurate, despite an identical vehicle parked in the spot next to me. In exchange for the additional $2.99 up charge, I forced my daughter to split the Dubai brownie with me. Worth it (I can admit this since she'll never see this review). Absolute decadence as before! I also tried the Oreo Brookie. The layers of delight with this one! So glad I split it beforehand because I would've eaten the whole thing, to my detriment! I'll be back the next time my daughter wants to turn in her chore money to Crumbl!

Queen of the Sweet Tooth here!…read more Whenever I am in the area I like to pop in. Unfortunately most times I am either too early to too late. Today, I was in the area 5 mins before opening. I sat in my car and patiently waited. When that neon OPEN sign flashed on, I think a little tear came to my eye! Yummy goodness was just a few steps away! I absolutely love this bakery!! Always friendly, always clean, always fresh--made from scratch and with love! If you cannot wait or your time is leisurely, there is space for you to enjoy your delightful goodies during your visit. If I am not mistaken, their menu rotates, but you can always find certain staples. I do not want to misquote the certain staples so I will simply share with you what I purchased during my adventure. On this particular visit I purchased the following: Italian Cream Cake--cream cheese frosting, coconut, and pecans Banana Pudding---I got the classic, but there are and can be other varieties. Simply delicious. My spoon couldn't get the cup clean enough. Biscoff cheesecake--Airplane cookie cheesecake! YAY! Chef's kiss. It was a great combination of two things I love. Chocolate Chip cookies---I was told they were amazing Snickerdoodle cookie---huge cookie with the perfect amount of cinnamon and sugar (Cookies were buy 3 get one free...yes, please. Why not? Who am I to deny a super good cookie?) Gelato and ice cream are also available along with Coffee and espresso. I've not tried either, but I absolutely will. Yes, I ate most of my order. Don't judge me, but judge for yourself how delightful the sweet treats are at Mama Bear's. Enjoy! Looking forward to my next visit!!!

Tried for the cinnamon rolls again, hoping last time was a fluke. I'm afraid it wasn't…read more The price of the cinnamon roll stayed the same and was twice the size as last time - which would be good if I hadn't gotten one before and now feel cheated on my first visit. Once again, we had to play "find the cinnamon" while eating these. The term "cinnamon roll" is such a misnomer. There is little cinnamon to this roll. The roll and the icing were still great and the service was still amazing, but I can't see myself spending money here again.

(4.5 stars) The new…read moreGreensboro outpost of a Ramseur bakery, Rocca's boasts an impressive selection of Italian and French pastries, friendly staff, and prices that aren't as high as you would expect. I stopped by after they had been open for about two weeks and was impressed by the sheer number of offerings: breads, cookies, cupcakes, pastries, cheesecakes, quiches, coffee, tea, and more. The employee on duty was patient and helpfully explained a few baked goods I hadn't encountered before (Kouign-amann will have to happen during a future visit). I ultimately settled on a peanut butter-banana coffee cake and a chocolate croissant. The croissant was buttery but dense rather than light and flaky. That density extended to the coffee cake as well, where it was more welcome. The peanut butter-banana combo made for a winning pair, and the topping was tasty as well. Given the pricing, service, availability (open every day except Sunday), and more, Rocca's is a must for anyone in Greensboro with a sweet tooth.

It is clean, bright and features a fragrant array of fresh pastries -- including fruit tarts, buttery croissants and small quiche (cheese and spinach, two different kinds of sausage, etc.). Fresh bread is baked only two days a week, so give them a call to confirm. The gentleman who waited on me proved knowledgeable and skilled, as well as helpful and kind. In addition to tarts, croissants and quiche, I added bread to the purchase. However, it happened to be a day they were not baking; so, instead, I was offered one from the freezer. I was given tips on how to defrost, freshen and warm the frozen loaf. It turned out to be delicious. Such a great stop!
