Dined in on a Wednesday night. It was poppppppin' as in mad people and they weren't seated six feet apart. I was fine with it but I was taken back for a minute so just a pointer for those out there. We ordered the mango habanero and the garlic parm wings, the chicken quesadilla, and the chicken cesar salad. The sauce for the wings were good, but the wings weren't al that flavorful. They were nice and crispy which I loved. The quesadilla was HUGE but the chicken was flavorless. Maybe it's the same chicken for the salad cus that was flavorless too. But overall, the food really wasn't bad. It was good. Typical bar foods! read more

This is the spot! I prefer this Croxley's vs Rockvilles any day. The atmosphere is always fun but calm. The food always hits right.

Excellent beer menu and, usually, good wings too. Tonight the wings were dry and overlooked and the service was super slow. But I guess you have to sacrifice a little for ten cent wings. We ordered the new flavors (fighting Irish, Korean BBQ, and Thai Peanut), which were thirty cents each...the sauces were all tasty but the wings were still dry and overcooked. I've also been to this Croxley's for brunch recently and it wasn't half bad for an inexpensive meal--although I thought that serving French fries with Eggs Benedict was just seemed like a weird combination. The omelets were good and the service was attentive. read more

I do love this place. The reason why I'm goving it 4 stars is because I actually had a bad experience a few years ago. I have been back for the first time in 2016 because of that bad experience. I'm so happy that I had a better experience this time around! So hapy that I came back 2 wks later with MORE friends! Made me forget about my worst experience there. So let's back track. My worst experience was in 2011. Got my usual. But for some reason some of the wings were rubbery and some were pink inside. I ate through them thinking it would only be some...but I ended up getting sick and threw it all up when i got home. I didnt go back until this year...i was sooooo happy! What we got the first visit: - Paulaner beer - nachos supreme - 20 BBQ wings with hot sauce on the side - fried cheesecake with vanilla icecream topped with caramel drizzle -molten lava cake Everything was super delicious and how I dreamt it would be! Our waitress was bombs. She was in charge of decorating the dessert that day...I think she was new. Lol. But she was awesome. 2nd visit we got: - piccadilly chili - with melted cheddar and scallions - 20 bbq wings with hot sauce on the side - croxley burger with string beans on the side - french fries - hoeegarden muscles with garlic broth. OMGGGG The 2nd visit topped my entire experience there. I was in heaven! Do try this place out. Place can get pretty loud because games are on. But hey, you're at a bar.... read more

Best wings hands down! Yes, these wings are smaller than most places and yes their specials are pricier than most places but .40 cents a wing is still such a deal. The wings are cooked to perfection. They do charge an extra $2 for honey BBQ and they are soooo sooo good! We also ordered a burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was perfect and the sweet potato fries were so crispy and not soggy like in most places. The service is ok, they did take a little longer than expected to bring the food out. However, the wings make up for the wait. Please note their is a $5 drink minimum in order to get the wing deal. read more

Pub. Bar. Restaurant. Whatever you like to categorize it, it's a mixture of all. Came here on a Saturday afternoon with my siblings and their SOs for drinks and .20 cent wings. You can get naked, i mean, naked wings with mild, medium, or hot sauce. My sister was daring and opted to get the 'cry like a baby' sauce to try. From what she said, it was HOTTTTTTT and spicy, just the way she likes it. Besides the wings, the loaded tater tots with bacon and cheese is an absolute must get. It was so good that we ordered another one right after it was done. Cheesy yumminess. Reminded me of Crif Dogs' tots. Now, I always order my girly cocktails. But today, I felt like a beer. Say what? Yeah, you heard me, beer. Okok... I got an angry orchard lol. Technically that's a "beer" right? But taste like apple champagne. Finally, a beer that I can drink w/o wincing at the taste! When the bill came, we decided to play Russian roulette to see who will pay for the entire bill. Placed the 3 credit cards and asked the waitress to close her eyes and pick one. SCORE! Brother's AMEX card it was! How fun.... only bc my card didn't get chosen :X The table next to us said they were going to try it after they get the bill too. Great game, high risk. Can you handle it? read more

Went here on March 14,2020 to dine for a friends bday. Location: It's on the corner we and there is a decent amount of street parking. Tip: You can park in the business across the street's parking lot(Texpak). When ive been here in the past they checked IDs. I don't know if I've aged rapidly or possibly they were just happy to have customers in light of the Covid scare but we walked right in and we're seated within two minutes. We sat in the booth right by the telephone booth with the ATM. It actually wasn't cold sitting in by the door which was a concern of mine. Food: We got a pitcher of Purple Haze. It was good. Then we got individual drinks- two black widows and a LI Iced Tea. No complaints at all- delicious! Nachos: I got them without beans- very good. Cheesier than I imagined. Not real cheese it's more so like velveeta or the type they sell in jars for tortilla chips. They also were not cheap with the jalapeños. Wings: The flavors selected were mango habanero and bbq. The wings went in a flash! Mac Daddy burger: It has Mac and cheese and is a derivative of short rib. This was really good. The Mac and cheese are shells (velveeta again!). Not too cheesy (probably used it on my nachos) but it was massive in size. The waitress gave us some Irish nachos because the kitchen got something wrong for another table. It was great because I had been wondering what they were like. I wouldn't recommend. It's a bit dry and you need to eat it fast before the cheese gets hard (not velveeta!) The kitchen/bar closed early that day. They made a snappy decision while we were there to close at 11pm. (No we weren't being rowdy!) Alas we didn't get to drink more or have dessert- so the bday celebration ended by midnight. Service: The waitress was a cute girl with amazing curls (the only non Caucasian working there that day) and was beyond friendly. She was super accommodating and checking with us an appropriate amount of times and wasn't annoying like some waitresses can be. (I used to be a cocktail waitress I can say that) She even gave us a buy back because of my husbands stupid large tip. Overall: I always enjoy myself here. The food was great as was the atmosphere. The jukebox was playing for everyone- from Journey to Biggie! I'll definitely come back once we aren't sequestered to our homes and social distancing is a bad memory! read more

YES a must visit destination! I was in Franklin Square looking for a good place to have some lunch and came across Croxley's. From the outside you'd never know what a gem this place is. Sort of a sleeper that camoflauges itself with a "typical bar" exterior. When you get inside though, completely different story. From the English phone booth, to the seating and brit mop-top pop playing over the sound system, you feel like you escaped Long Island and were teleported to England. The staff was very welcoming, warm and provided great service with a smile. The wings, well simply some of the best I've ever had. Large legs and wings with great buffalo sauce flavor, and not too wet or over sauced either, just perfect. I had a fully loaded Croxly burger with sauteed onion, raw onion, mushrooms, lettuce, tomato and a pickle. It was simply delicious. Full flavor, cooked to perfection. My girlfriend had a grilled chicken sandwich with cheddar and mushroom. It was good, but missing something. Maybe some hot sauce? Subjective I know. In all I will be back! I highly recommend this spot for its great atmosphere, super nice staff and awesome food! Thanks Croxley's! read more

Wings are the bomb....... YOU MUST TRY.!!!! My husband and I ordered the mild wings with the bone and ranch dressing on the side. Just thinking about them makes my mouth watery. I ordered the 20 none in hot wings, my girlfriend ordered 12 bone out BBQ wings. Fantastic food every time I come here. Always surpassing my expectations when I come here. This is such an excellent place to watch any sports games with friends. They have so many different beer on tap and a delicious menu. I have been here many times and never disappointed. Today I had to have the pumpkin beer and it is absolutely delicious, of course I had to get it with the cinnamon sugar rim. For starter I had fried pickles and entreè I had the shrimp tacos. The shrimp tacos are so so yummy and they have a kick to them. If you are looking for a sports bar with great food and amazing service I would definitely recommend coming here. read more

When I want wings, I go to Croxley's. Fact. My husband and I have been coming to this location for years. They have the best wings and wing deals. Plus the beer selection is unmatched. I always find a great delicious craft IPA. There are many deal times that are worth catching. You can get .30cent wings..steal! It really allows you to try all the favors they have. Last week I got the classic buffalo, Korean bbq, and honey bbq. The burgers are great too (their ugh I'm usually too busy stuffing my face with the wings when I come to Croxley's) and the potato skins are a MUST order. Come with an appetite! Come with friends! Come with kids. I see families here all the time...which is nice. One day when I have kids I know I can just drag them right along with me :))) read more

Huge beer list as I've come to expect from Crowley. I think they had 40 or so beers on tap. Lots of IPAs, plenty of local options, and a bunch of other styles to fit whatever you're in the mood for. They've got TVs all around the place so you can catch pretty much any game. I had Brooklyn lager and then Troegs nugget nectar. They were having a special on wings but I passed on it since I was having dinner nearby. read more

Great pub! Came in with a large group of friends and were very happy with everything. The one hang up was that they couldn't accommodate us all together or even split us between a couple of tables and split checks. We worked around it by taking up most of the back side and splitting up at tables of 2-6 each. The service was very good. The food was excellent. We had a couple apps at our table (nachos and buffalo cauliflower) along with burgers. All of the food was tasty. They have a HUGE draft selection and all of the beers we tried were amazing. Wonderful food and vibe; great beers. Great pub and tap room read more

It's always a pleasant experience when I come here. Staff are friend and attentive. It does get pretty busy during weekends but the crowds are generally more mature so there isn't a lot of drunken obnoxiousness. This is probably my favorite Croxley Ales on Long Island! This location is a bit off the beaten path and has all the same wonderful things you'd find at any other Croxley Ales - namely, BEER. I'm not a big fan of the wings, to be honest. They're tiny and well, just like any other wings. I just come here for the ever-changing list of beers on tap. The most recent addition includes their own 20th Anniversary Ale, which has a whopping 8% ABV (but they have plenty of beers with high ABV numbers in this place anyway). They tend to have all kinds of typical sports on the TVs (this past weekend was all about UFC), so they have you covered if you're looking for that kind of thing. Solid place. Solid beer selection. read more

I've copied and pasted my review from Croxley's Farmingdale here below and adjusted only the "Overall" score from 4 to 3 ,and service from 4 to 3. The "Will I go back" is also adjusted. Overall 3 stars Food 5 stars Service 3 Stars Atmosphere 4 stars Value 4 stars will I go back? Prefer Farmingdale location, but will definitely go back here to Franklin square if necessary. Food I am a wing connoisseur. If i go to a new restaurant, and wings are on the menu, I order. Croxley's wings are the best I've had on Long Island. Their fries are cooked to perfection also, and their nachos are incredible. Service The one knock on the Franklin Square location of Crox is the wait for the food. Wait staff are top notch. But the kitchen (I think) is small, so you have to wait for your food. but when you get it, it's piping hot and fresh. Atmosphere It's a pub. people are watching sports. It's loud. But it's to be expected. Value Drinks are expensive, but if you go on the right night, your food is cheap. will I go back? Prefer Farmingdale location, but will definitely go back here to Franklin square if necessary. read more

Decent service - delicious wings - I've tried several entrees- they have excellent ribs and the short rib is pretty good(you just have add some steak sauce and pepper).. this is a bar so I'm not expecting Michelin star meals - they have a ton of freezer type foods, like the popcorn shrimp, calamari, the veggies, so it's best to stick to the wings lol regardless it's always come in clutch when I get out of work n want to grab a quick drink w food read more

I've review the Croxley's in Farmingdale because it's my favorite location due to parking, interior space, and usually never a wait...but this location is just okay. My sister visited this location a week or two ago, since she just turned 21 and had never been to a Croxley's. Parking is also a hassle. It was almost impossible to find parking. We ended up parking two or three blocks down and pay extra attention to the street signs. The wings and nachos were great, but this location is very small and there was a wait... And due to the small size, the TV and music is extra loud. I can't imagine coming here during game day. Also, I wasn't impressed with the beer and cider menu at all. While they were always known for their large variety of beers in tap, I saw more commercial beer than local craft beer, they only have two ciders (which are commercial and not the greatest, in my opinion) and they only offer one gluten-free beer, which is priced higher than other bars and also the worst one in the market. I ended up ordering a red wine with my wings because of this, which even the server laughed at my alcohol order... And I didn't blame her. I have yet to try the food (although I was salivating watching other people get their wings and bar specialties served to them) but I can comment about the drinks, atmosphere, and service. I wasn't sure what beer I wanted, especially because I had just been at another bar drinking German beers Croxley doesn't carry. After the bartender let me try a few different brews, I gave up and went with a simple Angry Orchard. I wasn't in the mood to continue trying anymore beers or the patience of the really sweet bartender. It's a bit small in this Croxleys but it feels very, very inviting. It is loud enough to feel at home in a bar, but not too loud where you can't have a conversation. The bar was a great host for my friend and I to have a 3 hour conversation. I definitely need to come here soon though to eat. I love wings and I love that they are 10 cents on certain nights, plus they have boneless which is perfect for me because I cannot eat wings without making a mess of myself (seriously, why do I even let myself out of the house?!) Good to you can take out orders that way I won't have to publicly embarrass myself. I'll update this in a few weeks for sure! read more

Croxley's has the best wings on Long Island. It's not even close. The people who work here are friendly and professional despite dealing with crowds (pre-Covid) and an insane take-out business (Covid). I'm getting takeout here every week. They always get my order right and the wings are always incredible. So are the tater tots and sweet potato fries! They follow Covid guidelines and I feel very comfortable walking inside to pick up (they will bring out to your car tho). This is the easiest 5-stars I've ever given. read more

I was so very disappointed with my recent Uber eats order at Croxleys. The side orders of French fries for two of my dishes did not come. The extra bleu cheese I ordered (and was charged for) did not come. I immediately called to restaurant and was told they would send it out. Well, my family and I have finished eating and still nothing. No one did so much as offer a partial refund. So disappointed with what this place has become. Needless to say I will not be ordering from there again. read more

TL;DR (too long, didnt read version): Tons of beer choices, Bangin 10 cent wings, super busy M & W nights. Amex and Cash only. I have been coming to Croxleys in FS for a few years. Almost like clockwork Monday and Wednesdays. Hands down one of my favorite bars. The service sometimes is hit or miss, depending on the night and how busy, but usually i am too busy with friends to notice. I've had awesome nights here where i had super attentive waitresses, and others where we weren't sure if our waitress even existed. Expect wait times for tables on Monday and Wednesday nights (10 cent wing nights), esp before 11pm. Tons of beers here to choose from (over 50 on tap). I like trying a new one each time i go. The wings are pretty bangin (def shoot for the Honey BBQ), and you cant beat 10 cent wings. I'm also personally a fan of the Zucchini Sticks. Everyone always raves about the Sweet Potato Fries, also I think the food at the Franklin Square one is better than the Rockville Center and the East Village one, but the crowd and layout in Rockville Center are the best. East Village was my least favorite. The Farmingdale one i have yet to try. Also beware, Amex only in most Croxleys! so Amex or Cash! read more

Croxley's is great, if you can ever find it. Parking is troublesome and watch for the parking signs, some say only an hour, but don't know if they are really enforced. Wing night is a total bargain buster with it only being 10 cents, but be aware there will be an automatic 20% gratuity. Just think if you get 40 wings, which will be $4 and 20% will be 80 cents, so its not as bad as one reviewer mentioned. The reason for only four stars was the really long wait for the wings, almost an hour. I know it was wing night, but how long does it take. The humongous list of beers made the wait bearable though. The wings were really crispy and the hot buffalo sauce was finally becoming unbearable after the 20th wing, which was surprising. I will definitely come back for wing night read more

Best wings ever! Now that I have that off my chest, I will regale you with some other specifics. With an impressive beer selection (over 100 different beers) you won't even miss your precious Budweiser, Miller or Coors. The menu is quite expansive for an American Pub style restaurant. Great starters like wings an Irish Nachos are always a hit! The Big Ben burger as well as the fish and chips are quite delicious and should not be missed. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights after 5PM are the 10 cent wing special nights. And Sunday the wings are 20 cents all day long. Great place to watch some football and have a few beers. read more

Been here so many times but stayed always by the bar during night . This time we came in for a brunch and the restaurant is surprisingly family friendly . Love the quietness during the time , less crowd , enjoying our tap beer with no disturbance. They have special wings offer for their appetizer and boy , the best , as expected . For our meal , their house burger is unbelievably one of the best I have tried. My husband enjoyed his buffalo burger as well. The beer serving size was huge for me but moderate for a beer fan like the husband. Pricing is moderate . I will be back . read more

Long wait for this location. I love the deal for Wings here. The Thai coconut and Korean bbq flavors are sweet and delicious here! They allow parents with their kids here but they don't allow people under 21 even if they don't plan to drink.... I feel like it's discriminatory and should not be like that. If you allow any minor with or without a family to the establishment, you should allow a minor with friends and who doesn't even plan to drink to the establishment. This happened to us, and I felt like this wasn't fair because we had called in advance to ask if know minors were okay and they said yes. When we got there, they didn't let us in. smh.... don't say yes if you weren't going to let us in! I'd go again for wings though. sometimes they're strict on the $5 drinks minimum and sometimes they're not in order for you to get the wings special. read more

I wrote a review for Croxley's in Manhattan so I'll be short here. The wings are super dry here same as the city location, but I did enjoy the sweet potato fries.
