I love this place! While I often suffer from "food regret" - this never happens to me at the crows nest! Everything is delicious but I love the 1/2 lobster roll and chowder combo. I highly recommend this place. Recently, my parents were in town on a snowy Valentine's Day weekend and they were able to provide the perfect venue for a larger party to have dinner on a traditionally romantic night. Best of all they even gifted the ladies with pink flowers, what a great touch! read more

If you haven't been to the Crow's Nest, all I can say is you are missing out. This place is the best! The generous portions of perfectly prepared New England fare at prices that are more than reasonable, and the friendly, exceptional service keeps me and my family coming back again and again. If you aren't impressed by the Crow's Nest than I question your palate, and experience set. read more

While traveling to Providence, I went to the Crow's Nest for dinner. I wanted something by the water and a place that had seafood. The food was good at a reasonable price, service was great. The dinning area was a bit on the loud side as there was a large party of 18 people dinning close to my table. This really seems like a local's hangout, so I felt like I was at eating where the locals do, which I like to experiance when on the road. The food was good with generous portions - the server was attentive and quick. I did enjoy my meal hear and would go back again to try something different on the menu, there were several things that caught my eye and would be interested in trying. I would recommend going here if in the area. read more

If you are looking for a no frills, cozy, inexpensive, delicious seafood joint, this is definitely the place! I tried the swordfish skewers with pickled beets, rice, and a dark lager. My total price came to under $20! Others in my party had the swordfish steak, the seafood platter, and the surf and turf. All reported their tickets were lower than expected and with excellent food. I recommend this place highly and will return the next time I'm in Warwick... read more

It was time for an update. As reviews show I've been going here for several years and have yet to be disappointed. Good portions, good service, good menu. And the view isn't all that bad either. While they do offer call-ahead and I've done so a few times the wait-time is really not that bad. They seem to be very punctual and get you taken care of right away with ordering and bringing the food out. I really don't think I've ever had a meal with regrets once. Also, highly recommend the red chowder. One of the state's best I've found and I've never found the flavor or the stock to be lacking. If you're an interior decorator looking for motivation this is the wrong place. It's been the same there as long as I can remember but do you really go to stare at the fireplace or the ceilings? read more

It was meh. Had the steamed lobster and it was ok. Should've had their lobster roll though. The people next to me got the lobster rolls and I would've had to order 3 whole lobsters to get the amount of meat that was in their sandwich. The restaurant's sides are horrible (broccoli which was covered in fried stuff and cheese?! and a baked potato that was served with a side of sour cream?)... so I just had the lobster. Also, the butter and lemon with the lobster were not very good. The butter isn't real or clarified and the lemons were old. All detracted from the lobster meat that was tasteless. Overall, IF I ever go back I will get the lobster roll. Lesson learned. read more

The Twin Oaks of Warwick. I know TO is not what it used to be, but this place gives you a great portion at an excellent price. I order seafood here as it is what you should do when at the "Crows". Baked stuffed lobster is very good, as is the Lobster Roll, however something about their peel and eat shrimp is creating a craving. A icy cold dozen big shrimp that snap, GO FOR IT. read more

Lobster didn't taste fresh :( dinner rolls were warm and delicious! The prime rib was very tasty! Went late around 8pm not many people in the restaurant, but the service was excellent! read more

Very grateful to find this classic New England chowda house. Fantastic Lobster roll, excellent New England clam chowder, and a fine clams casino. We sat at the bar as the table wait was 45 minutes but the service at the bar was very friendly and the other patrons were congenial as well. Certainly worth another trip if we find ourselves in the area. It's a little hard to find but worth the journey. read more

Cozy place on by an inlet. Tasty and affordable. Very fresh seafood. Visited for Dinner , last Sunday afternoon. Didn't disappoint. Staff is friendly, attentive, and overall a very satisfying experience for fresh seafood when in the Providence, RI area. Highly recommended. read more

This was all just so underwhelming, they boast a good view but all you really see is gravel and a bunch of cars in the parking lot. The food was for lack of better words, utter shit. We waited upwards of 50 minutes for some pasta, some salad and some meat. Admittedly the pasta was ok, and that's why this is not a one star, but the meat was clearly microwaved, hard in the edges and soft in the middle; they charged 18 bucks for some microwaved chicken and some mediocre pasta. Don't waste your time here. read more

In town for business and the hotel concierge highly recommended it as good food for a good value. I generally agree after my visit. Service was attentive and fast. I ordered the cup of NE chowder and half a lobster roll with a side of potato salad; the chowder and potato salad were a little bland, but easily fixed with a little salt and pepper. The lobster roll was great. All in all, I spent less than $20. read more

Damn fine meal. I had the boiled lobster and meine frau had the seafood sautée on linguine, loaded with lobster meat and shrimp, etc. Quick service. Bartender was a bit impatient but she delivered two great Manhattans. This appears to be a favorite of locals, always the best endorsement. read more

Great Place! The food definitely delivered on taste and on east coast flavors. I ordered the lobster roll and chowder and clam cakes and everything was 10/10. Other family ordered baked and fried seafood platters and everything was delish. The appetizer was calamari and very fresh and tasty. read more

Nice diner experience. Service is nice. Food is not fabulous but well priced and quick. Bread rolls were good.

Very very good food. Ordered a clam belly platter and holy moly there was a lot. Very good priced and the portion size was fabulous. The waitstaff was very good. My woman ordered a baked seafood platter which she loved. We will be back. The only advice I have is to call ahead for seating since there was a hour wait but food was well worth it. read more

Tired of going out to restaurants and getting ripped off with awful food and poor service. I decided to take my wife and try The Crows Nest Restaurant. Made a reservation about an hour before going , the place was packed. We were seated within 10 minutes of our reservation time. Not only was the Hostess Personable she was very attentive to all the people arriving. The food was excellent and the service was superb. I can't wait to go back and try something else. I had the steamers and liver and onions , my wife had the Fried clams And everything was cooked to perfection. If I could give this place 10 stars I would!!! You know it's like the old saying You get what you pay for but at this place you get more than you pay for when it comes to the service the food and the prices. read more

First time ever going here and I really enjoyed everything. The steamers were delicious and it's nice to know that they have them all year long. The only negative is that there was a child sitting at the bar with his dad. Children should never be allowed to sit at the bar and the staff should know that. Other than that we will be back. read more

WiFi works. Great lunch spot. Fish and Chips were excellent and the clam chowder I wish I ordered the bowl. Definitely will return.

The Crows Nest is, and has been, one of my favorite restaurants for years. The food here is always excellent. They have a great variety of seafood and other American and Italian style dishes. My favorite dish is the lobster roll. It is a roll that is filled over the top with delicious lobster. Anyone ordering it will not be disappointed with the large pieces of lobster, not just shred and lettuce. My wife often orders the ahi tuna and loves it, especially with the broccoli au gratin as a side. Always cooked perfectly. The service here is also great. Once you start heading there often, and you'll want to, they will know your names! They are quick and always delightful. read more

I love this place! I drive from NH just to go there for lunch some weekends as I spent about 20 years going with my late husband. It was our favorite "cheers" restaurant everyone knows everyone even if they've never met, you can chat with everyone there. The staff is amazing and Kim is the best, sorry Doug. When saying our final goodbyes I could think of no place more fitting than the Crow's Nest . Thanks to Barbara for helping me get through done. This was a bonus find to us. We were directed here from the proprietor of a local seafood market...what better recommendation, right? We were pleasantly surprised by the very friendly staff, cozy atmosphere and waterfront location. The food was served timely and was delicious! My husband and I split a fried seafood platter...not the healthiest option but worth the calorie splurge. The menu offered this baked as well and I'm sure that would have been just as yummy. That being said, the perfectly battered seafood was fried to a golden crisp and served piping hot. The clam chowder comes as either red (blasphemous for this Mainer, but whatever :) ) or white and my husband reports that the White was delicious as well. All this, with an appetizer, for just a shade over $30, not including the tip. You can't go wrong. read more

They tried to pass off burnt lobster as normal My mother and I ate at Crow's Nest Restaurant in Warwick, RI on the evening of August 14, 2020. She ordered the baked, stuffed lobster and I ordered the stuffed shrimp. While we were waiting for our meal, we smelled something burning. The smell didn't last too long so we blew it off. When the waitress placed our meals in front of us, mine looked normal but my mother's baked, stuffed lobster looked burnt (the claws were dark-red to almost black). When she tried to crack open the claws, they wouldn't budge. She asked me to do it and I couldn't do it. The claws were hard as a rock. When we asked the waitress about it, she said it was normal and offered to either have the meat taken from the claws in the kitchen or give my mother another meal. Ever the trooper, my mother asked for the meat to be taken from the claws. While the waitress was in the kitchen hacksawing the claws open, my mother attempted to eat some of the meat in the tail. It was like rubber. It was at this point that I convinced my mother to get something else as the lobster was unedible. She was happy with her new meal. After we paid and left, I thought about what had happened. First off, they should never have brought out the lobster in that condition. They should have been embarrassed to serve something like that to their customer and to pass it off as normal was insulting. They also should never had charged us for her new meal. Their treatment of us speaks volumes about how much they value their customers. Not much, if you ask me. Sadly, I would never eat at Crow's Nest Restaurant again or suggest anyone else do as well. read more

never had a poor experience here , the best chicken parmesan i ever had and this isn't even a italian restaurant !

The food was ok but the owner and staff were rude. They took my phone to validate a 5 dollar coupon and took forever ... well after 20 mib they put my phone back on the table I took and put it in my pocket to my surprise when I was driving and my phone rang I took it out to answer and to my surprise there was a Crack across the front. I did call and the owner said we didn't do it ,I said I knew that is what you were going to say. She took my name and number and said she would call me back. Never did so I called back and she was the rudest person ever. She said I looked at the tape and no one dropped your phone.and she hung up on me I knew I wasn't going to get anywhere so I just called my repair guy who said it looked like someone stepped on it which it probably was. Replaced the screen but still didn't function properly. Had to buy a new phone. I'm sure that they do not take your phone anymore and come to the table to validate coupons. 5 dollar coupon cost me 500 .Thanks to the staff at crow's nest you will never see me or anyone I tell this story to , so carma does come back!!! read more

Love place. Call ahead. It's always busy. It's a great, family friendly restaurant. I always recommend it to friends.

We recently took a friend out to lunch with her daughter because it was her 96th birthday and the Crow's Nest use to be her favorite restaurant but she hadn't been in a while due to health issues and wondered if it was still a good place to eat. It was better than that. Both the food AND the the service were GREAT. Tara (our server) was fantastic - friendly, professional, knowledgeable and just an overall nice person. The birthday girl's lobster roll was " mouth watering" in her words. The window seat was perfect and although we had a lot of catching up to do, no one rushed us especially when the staff brought her a nice small cake with a candle and sang Happy Birthday to her along with most of the restaurant! Thank You Crow's Nest for making her special day a memorable one !!! read more

I've only one thing to say about this place go try it the food is amazing and wonderful service on top of it. I've been in here with my friend and I'll tell you I've always been treated like Cinderella when she went to the ball. One time they're was supposed to be an hour wait for a table but the owner asked a nice gentleman if he could do a table switch she'd give us table 16 and he'd take table 17 she explained that I liked to have Lois and he agreed with a smile. The lady took us to our table 5 minutes later and we had the best experience of our lives the food was wonderful and the drink was exactly the way I like it. I walked out feeling on top of the world. read more

Went to try the newly renovated restaurant with a total of five people. The inside looks great, but the experience was absolutely terrible. We sat down and had one waiter, an older gentleman, who apologized for forgetting our drink orders. We told him no problem. We ordered salads and apps to start, which took 40 minutes to come out. We asked once, "any word on those salads" and magically they appeared two minutes later. After that, he came over and said we were reassigned to a new waitress (?), but he stayed serving other people in the dining room. A bit confused as we had not complained. The entrees took another 30 minutes to come out, at which point we had been there almost 2 hours. At this point, the waitress could tell we were getting annoyed and apologized, but we still watched four other tables who sat after us, get their food before us. The food came, and beside one minor error, everything was good. Not five minutes later, a bus boy came over and tried to clear away a full plate of food while my friend had his fork literally in the rice on it. By this point, we were obviously incredibly irritated. We let the waitress know and all she said was "he is new". The bill came and not even a single lemonade was taken off the $230 bill. We didn't ask to speak to a manager or have anything taken off, because I'm still in shock she didn't offer to do that after she agreed with us that it was ridiculous how long we waited. I was going to speak to the manager on the way out, but it was busy in the bar area and I didn't want to cause a scene. I tried to call 4 times after we left, and no one answered the phone. We all agreed we will never step foot in there again or recommend to anyone. We've worked in the restaurant industry, so we still tipped 15%, but all the restaurants we've worked at would have had the class to make amends prior to us leaving. As mentioned, won't be back - incredibly disappointing given the "new changes". read more

Got a gift certificate for Christmas and finally got to go the night before Mother's Day. The wait was an hour long but luckily found 2 seats at the end of the bar.
