Love/Hate Relationship, but ultimately, this place always wins. This is as American as it gets. A hidden gem of Warwick/East Greenwich, the only way you will find this place is if you've Yelped it, or if someone took you here. To eat here, you have to wait. Whether you call ahead, or you come in, there is always some kind of wait, but calling ahead will save you at least 20 mins. The service here is hit or miss, it really depends on the day and the hour. This place is always busy, so if the waitress had a bad day, you might get bad service. The food is always consistent. I typically get the white clam chowder, which is traditional. It's not as thick as it's Chelo neighbors, but has enough flavor to satisfy. My girlfriend has had Clams casino, fish and chip, and the lobster roll, and seemed to have enjoyed them all. The stuffed quahog's are huge and are reasonably priced, tasty, and served with Tabasco. Make sure you get some dinner rolls, they are fantastic. As for drinks, they are also reasonably priced, and are well made. When I say it's love hate, I'm just referring to the wait times. It can get ugly, especially when ordering takeout. Otherwise, I love this place. read more

Place is located waterfront very beautiful and quiet. Food was good. We had fried calamari for an appetizer, the menu did say generous portion we didn't think so. Server was a little off. Had to come back and ask us what we ordered for drinks. There was only two of us there. We would give it another try. read more

Food was awesome and our server, Kris, did an excellent job -she promptly brought us extra hot bums, checked on our first bite, and was very responsive. read more

Good experience all the way around. Cheers to our server, Kris! She made the whole night awesome.

Excellent restaurant. Appropriate atmosphere for a waterfront place. Music that was in the background was at a perfect level. I can't stand music that's too loud. Food is top notch. We've been a few times and ordered different items from the menu and haven't been disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised how good the fish tacos were. When I think of tacos, fish is the last thing I would think of but they were prepared with ingredients that were nicely balanced. As for our server, Kris, she was a delight. Friendly and efficient! read more

Had the burgers with RI Food Fights coupons. Junior was our waiter and he was awesome! Would definitely come back

I just came from dinner at the crows nest and ordered the baked seafood dish. It was one of the worst dinners I ever had. The fish was overbreaded. As a matter of fact it was all bread. Would never go back. read more

Crows Nest has always been a solid standby for some of the best food in Rhode Island Came tonight for my 36th anniversary with my bride Not disappointed at all I had the fried clam platter which was too large to finish Wife had the scallop & shrimp scampi special Other than the great abundance of good food Our waitress Ariana was amazing and ensured our stay was perfect! My wife had mentioned that it seemed a little cool in the room (it had been warm during the day but was rather cool at night with the ceiling fans running) and Ariana immediately went and informed management Will definitely visit again read more

Junior was an awesome waiter. Very personable and isn't afraid to give recommendations. Great food and atmosphere. The place is clean and modern. Classy, but not too expensive. Definitely recommend. read more

Junior was the best - great outdoor atmosphere! Great renovation done by the team over here!

Deedra is awesome!! She is the best server!! Service was fantastic and quick and the drinks are amazing.

My family came out for a birthday this evening and we had an amazing experience with Hunter G! He made this experience amazing, he was the best waiter we have had. He went above and beyond for us. He had the staff come sing happy birthday, the table was decorated, he was always attentive and kind. Thank you Crows Nest and thank you Hunter! read more

Love the food and the service is great. Jumos was perfect as a server. Alway order the smaller portion salmon, and come away full.

Kris was our server tonight. She was very attentive and personable. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful. The kids got a kick out of the grassy/tree wall. read more

great service, always tasty. accoutrements and trappings much improved, a pearl in the oyster of Apponaug. And Suzy and Sara are tops!!!

Service was great, Junior was the GOAT. Will return with my mom this summer. Prices were affordable.

Our bartender, Sara, and our server, Suzie, are the best. Food was very good with a great variety.

Hands down one of my favorite go to places for a Lobsta roll! The Lobsta is sweet, tender, fresh and tasty. The roll is buttery and warm. The portion is very reasonable and worth the $21.95. The roll also comes with one side. Their white clam chowder is also delicious. Thick, creamy, full of clams and full of flavor. I have to come here at least once a year. Yes, it is an older crowd but that shouldn't stop you from checking this place out. The food is totally worth it! read more

A local favorite. Delicious luncheons. Excellent serving staff . Great views and beautiful dining room . New deck is a treat.

Stopped in for clam cakes and chowder, I ordered 3 clam cakes and two had shells in them. The chowder had no flavor. The restaurant was great when the old owners were running it. Very disappointed! read more

Food is great as ever and new ownership has done a beautiful job with the decor. We love seeing our favorite server, Deedra. The Chicken Barbara isn't on the menu anymore but they will still make it for you upon request and it tastes as great as ever. We always LOVE it here read more

Spent 3 nights in RI, Went to this restaurant first night and the other 2 nights eating dinner didn't even come close. My wife and son had seafood entrees and I had the steak. Everything came out hot and tasted excellent. our waitress Deedra was very friendly and helpful (wife asks a lot of question). A must visit when in the Providence/Warwick area. read more

Not the same Crows Nest. Food way to salty, some recipe changes, and menu items. If it's not broken don't fix it.

Super disappointed regarding the responsiveness of this restaurant. Went on their website and sent them a message to get a gift card for my sister. Never heard back from them. Oh well, they just missed out on a $100 sale. I went elsewhere and made my purchase. Poor management & communication. read more

This used to be a favorite restaurant and we were looking forward to coming again when it reopened. The staff seemed disinterested in actually serving the guests. There were 5 other tables besides us (all 2 tops) and it was not crowded, so I'm not sure why it took SO long for our drinks and then the food. The menu is much smaller, the prices much higher & the service is pretty much non-existent. The bar tender has NO interest in helping and after giving me my drink, never even came back to see if we wanted another drink or anything else-not even a thank you when we left. We don't be back, unfortunately. read more

Came here for years and could not wait to try under new ownership although prior ownership did. Good job. Appetizers were horrible. Never had anything like that. Clams casinos was made like someone defiantly never cook for a seafood rest. Coconut shrimp must have come in frozen bag. Manager was clueless how to handle and made a fool of herself instead of correcting the situation. Instead of questioning why it tasted so bad she should have just apologized for not having skilled cooks. Last time we come here. New owners should be focused on the cooks and the type of food people are expecting when going to a seafood rest. Last time here for sure. read more

HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! I'm originally from RI and have been going to the Crow's nest since the 80's. I've been in Miami since 1993 and The Crow's Nest has always been my first stop upon landing. I was in such anticipation of having my very favorite New England Specialtyf - Fried clams! - Always amazing at the Crow's Nest. First I was surprised to see the price went from $17 to $29. But I didn't care - I knew they'd be worth it!!! However - They were horrible - They were very small - They were overcooked - The batter had a burnt taste - the clams were tuff and rubbery - The French fries were not the natural potato, instead, they were the coated potato (the ones which have a longer life under the heat lamps but taste hideous). My dining companion had the Fish and chips. The fish most certainly was previously frozen, which caused the inside of the batter to be gooey and slimy. As well, the fish was mushy and also served with those horrendous coated French fries! After a terrible meal, I thought I'd at least satisfy myself with the amazing Grape-nut Pudding - Only to find that they no longer serve this. Service, on the other hand, was kind, friendly, and efficient - as it always had been. STAY AWAY! read more

Nothing like the original Crows Nest restaurant. Vary disappointed! Will never go back. Swordfish was thin and dry with an awful taste. NEVER AGAIN! read more

Kris was an awesome server. Michael was the best bartender. Food was amazing.

5 star service and food. We had reservations for 5:00 and were eating by 5:12. Kris was our server and she was super friendly. I ordered the broiled scrod and hubby had fish & rings. We cleaned the plates it was so fresh and delish. Our second time here and it didn't disappoint. Plan to return to enjoy the outdoor dining experience. read more

we had a wonderful meal on Friday, June 2, at the Crows Nest. The place and the food have definitely made a huge upgrade since the former owners. We are particularly wanted to thank Junior, our server, for his wonderful and personal service to us. We will be back probably as regulars. read more

Excellent always. Food is delicious and fresh and our waiter Junior was a breath of fresh air, and excellent. Great job!

We had a wonderful waitress who was especially attentive to the fact that my two year old came along. She also did what most waitresses don't and held our dinner order until after we finished our appetizer so that we would have a little space between courses! It was quiet when we went to lunch, but the nachos were fantastic, the clam chowder was okay. There were more potatoes than clam but at least it was creamy and good. And I had the boiled lobster, which was very well-presented but it did not have all the meat included. However, it was less of a mess because they cut some of it up for you. I would return again to try some of their other dishes- each meal comes with two sides and a soup or salad so it's a great amount of food! read more

Bartender was cool, service at bar was no problem. Non one else except my party of 3 in the entire restaurant yesterday, March 13, 2023. A gentleman came in at 3pm, because they advertised and had been serving happy our specials for appetizers, raw bar & steamers for half price. This particular gentleman had just been there last Friday. Came in, ordered a Manhatten, and then asked for the happy hour steamers, bartendar then states oh sir I'm sorry that special is no more. Keep in mind no one is in the restaurant. Patron said well I came specifically for the steamers for happy hour, can you please ask a manager. Bartender returns and say NO. He ask to speak to manager, 10 minutes later she appears. Still noone in entire restaurant except we 4 people at the bar and staff. Patron, i come all the time And was just here last friday. Manager: no i can not due it. Patron: well that is a shame, I guess I won't be coming back. Manager: if I make exception for u, I must for all..... still after all this noone (guests) in the restaurant.... I can see many changes since new owners amd food is good but not like it was, but unfortunately the way they treated this guest was awful... I will not be back, this was our first stop everything we come to visit. read more
