I'd have never known this place was here!! It's set back along the water and not on a main road. I met a friend for lunch and immediately liked the atmosphere inside. Service was excellent. We each got appetizers and entrees. I thought the clam chowder was pretty good. The clam cakes were a bit chewy but I've never had them before so maybe that's typical. The calamari was tasty. My scallop entree was ok, nothing memorable. I prefer larger diver scallops to the small type used in this dish. I didn't like the mashed squash I chose as my side. The server did say she'd bring something else but I had more than enough food already. My friend really enjoyed the fish tacos. I thought the prices were very reasonable for the portion sizes. I would come back here and would like to try the fish and chips next time.

Perfect day to sit outside and eat fish tacos! They were lightly breaded and came with corn salsa and a small sprinkling of homemade coleslaw. My husband enjoyed his eggplant sub which came with fries. Olivia was a sweet waitress and her suggestions help steer us to good choices .

Atmosphere was beautiful, they also have an outdoor patio which is perfect for summer dining! The parking lot was almost full when we arrived and there really wasn't on-street parking available either, luckily one spot opened up for me. Our waitress was polite and attentive, and the food came out in a reasonable time. Food was delicious and they give you warm bread, which I'm a huge fan of! Noise level was a little loud but it was very busy too. I would definitely go back again.

Loved it ! Food was excellent and the service was even better. We went with our little one and the waitress was so good to our baby!

Rating: 3.5 Came to try the place for dinner. It was pretty busy but we were able to be sat down relatively quickly as it's a large establishment. The place has its own parkings available. Inside is pretty typical of seafood restaurant around the area but with larger scale and do offer outside seatings as well. We ordered raw seafood sampler to start and i got lobster mac and cheese. Started with some bread and butter. Simple but solid. Seafood sampler was okay. Came with 6 oysters, shrimp and cherrystones. Oyster was probably the best and the horseradish sauce was also pretty good. Cherry stones were small and didn't have a-lot of meat and shrimp tasted and felt like frozen. Lobster mac and cheese was pretty tasty. Lots of cheese and al dente macaroni and good mount of lobster meat. Only thing is that there was a piece of lobster shell mixed in. My partner got the fish and chips and substituted coleslaw for steamed broccoli but they forgot the broccoli. We asked the waitress and they brought the broccoli quickly. Service was decent but they did forget the broccoli side. Overall the place was ok. Nothing really stood out and the price was on the higher end but without a good reason. Lobster shell piece in a lobster mac and cheese and missing broccoli side instead of coleslaw didn't help. Probably would not come back

The food here was delicious and the service outstanding. The place was clean and picturesque. I had the clam chowder, fried seafood platter, and chocolate cake. All delicious.

Nice hidden gem! Was in town for a wedding and grabbed a drink and snack. The lobster roll was great! Staff extremely friendly and nice outdoor seating. Would definitely return.

It was my first time trying Crows Nest and has been on my hit list for months now, I am happy I finally got a chance to try it. The restaurant was wide open and quiet but the hostess sat us in the worst seat of the house so I asked to move. The waitress was so sweet and very accommodating and moved our seats into a booth with no hesitation. She turned the experience right around and was attentive, friendly, and quick. The restaurant is located by the water in Warwick. It has a modern nautical atmosphere. The restaurant is super clean! One of my favorite things is the thoughtful decor. It gave Rhody vibes with a beautiful fish tank, octopus wallpaper, and a seashell chandelier. I do wish that the food matched the atmosphere. For the price on the menus, I was disappointed that they have frozen broccoli vs. fresh broccoli. I got a wide variety of food to try: the stuffies, chowder & clam cakes, stuffed shrimp, Caesar salad, and boneless fried chicken. My favorite thing was the stuffies.

This restaurant is right next to a marina and has a great view of the water. The decor is nice and coastal. The hostess and server were great! Now onto the star of the show, the food and drinks! Both of our cocktails were delicious and well made. The lobster roll phenomenal and the stuffed shrimp were also very yummy. Definitely a place worth stopping in for a lunch with a beautiful view! Parking can be limited, but that is the only negative!

We heard the Crows nest had a new owner so we tried it again. They did a great job making it super coastal looking inside & a great outside covered bar area & dining . We had nachos first they were great then we all had something different. The small plate portion scrod was just the right side. The server was fantastic totally in the weeds with serving most of the patio but she was so sweet & funny the rest didn't matter then the staff were all hands on deck they got so busy . We weren't rushed to us that worth a star lol

Chowder was very good. Taste was much different than anything I have had before, plenty of clams. The potato's were a bit undercooked. Swordfish was fantastic as well as the baked stuffed shrimp. Very nice decor and friendly staff. Arrive early, parking can be a challenge.

I believe they do. Check on line at crowsnestri.com or call them at (401) 732-6575

    Is this restaurant expensive?

No, it's pretty reasonable. The lobster roll, for example, is going to be based on market price, but everything else seemed pretty standard.

Be warned, it's on the more expensive side for dining and may be a coin toss for "is it worth it" for those that enjoy a night out but also looking for value. Food was a mixed bag for us.... Starting with the smashburger was genuinely disappointing as the burger itself was dry and advertised as a "French onion" smashburger that failed to deliver any of the rich, savory flavor we expected with a name like "French onion smashburger". The hot honey Mac and cheese was very good and flavorful... The hot being more of a vinegary heat than I expected but the cream sauce was rich. Speaking of value earlier.... Smashburger was $20 and the Mac and cheese was $28. Entrees were $10-15 more it seemed but previous reviews all spoke highly of the entrees and would want to try them if we visit again. The overall service experience was disappointing for us. Not for the demeanor of the staff but everything else... We had a decent size group of 8 (5 adults and 3 kids) and was fortunate to have a dining room to help the kids burn some energy while not bothering the other diners. However, from ordering to entrees to arrive was 45 very hungry minutes. It also took 20+ mins just to get drinks. Once the food arrived, they also were short two of the kids meals which was thankfully corrected quick. We then were somewhat "gently" being asked to wrap things up by 3 staff members in 10 mins making the rounds to clear plates and any to go containers. We all understand the business in the food industry and turning tables, and trust me, after an hour from arriving to food on the table we wanted to get home for bed time. However, really sours the experience and would not advocate going here with large groups.... Between the kitchen and staff I can't say you'd have a guaranteed good time.

Our server, Jenna, visited our table soon after we were seated and brought us water. We were waiting for other members of our party, and she never made us feel rushed or pressured. While waiting, we put in drink orders and the "Lavender Fields Forever" cocktail that I ordered (Rhodium Gin, lavender syrup, fresh lemon juice, snap pea simple syrup) was so delicious, and garnished with a beautiful sprig of lavender flowers. We ordered two appetizers: Point Judith Calarmari and Corn Arepas. The calamari had too many tentacles and not enough rings for me, but the arepas were excellent. The cornmeal base was crispy and hot, and there was just the right amount of meat and toppings. For entrees, our group ordered the Chimichurri Grilled Chicken sandwich, The rigatoni with pink sauce and sausage with crispy chicken as an add on, the short ribs over mashed potatoes, the Wood-Grilled Bone-In Pork Chop, and the Rib Eye Steak. We all enjoyed our entrees. It is evident that Iron Works uses high quality ingredients and puts a great amount of care into the preparation fo their food. We split three desserts amongst the five of us: The flourless chocolate torte, the cheesecake, and the Banoffee Sundae. The flourless torte was rich and very chocolately, and the cheesecake was very good as well. I'm not a fan of bananas, so I didn;t try the Sundae, but the friend who ordered it enjoyed it. After dinner, we sat and chatted for awhile,, and we never felt rushed or pressured to leave. This was a very enjoyable evening in a great restaurant environment with delicious food.

Most egregious: the shrimp that came with the Caesar salad was POPCORN SHRIMP coated in SWEET-AND-SOUR sauce. I truly couldn't believe it. Why wouldn't the server at least warn me? To add insult to injury, my salad was overdressed and soggy. Also, the dressing was revolting. I don't mind anchovies for flavor, but the dressing tasted like an anchovy puree. I think it was maybe past its prime. I had one bite and couldn't continue. Inedible. And the fries. The parmesan truffle fries were drenched in mayonnaise??? I don't really care for mayo but I don't mind a drizzle or an aioli dipping sauce. However, the mayo to fry ratio was literally 2:1. I tried to wipe it off and it was still like a mayo-fry soup. Inedible. I took everything to go and just trashed it. I've NEVER done that before. This is a delayed review (meal was a few months ago) and I'm still rattled by how bad it was.

I loved that the churro was warm and the drink itself was really tasty. However, I think there was way too much whipped cream and not enough of the actual drink. The Benedict really was delicious, the meat was tender, the flavors popped, and I love a good bolo roll as a base. But, the homefries were SO salty. Priced a little highly in my opinion- I got the meat Omelette. It was tasty, it had a fair bit of carne asada in it and it was well seasoned. It also had some bacon and chorizo in there if memory serves me. I thought the portion could have been a little bit better for $23, or better yet, just make it $18-19. There's no reason an Omelette should come with a $23 price tag. I was actually satisfied with the portion given the mound of home fries. Which by the way were very tasty albeit, over salted. The braised beef Benedict that my wife got was very good, my only critique on it would be to toast the bolo a bit more because the whole thing was one texture. It missed the crunch you get with an English muffin as the base. I also thought the beef could have been more seasoned. One other order at the table included the breakfast tacos. You get 4 tacos piled with food. Actually looked like you got more than the Omelette. Noted for next time. I didn't order this, but tried it at the table- the spiked horchata drink was tasty. A little heavy on the whipped cream but it was a good drink! We were surprisingly the only ones in there besides one other table. Doesn't seem like brunch has caught on here? Nonetheless, I think you should give it a try, we were well taken care of and there wasn't anything we didn't like.

The person who brought it food placed it and was gone, so I didn't have a chance to say anything. I managed to take the steak out and wipe off the horseradish... there was soooo much. I couldn't eat the bread. By the time the server came over to ask how everything was, the rest of my party was almost done eating. I mentioned that the horseradish was supposed to be on the side and she said "oh no! It's ok though right?" I said I guess it will have to be, as she can see most of my dinner was untouched and I was eating my wiped off steak with a knife and fork. She didn't say anything else and left. No manager came by. She never came back other than to drop the check. After we ate my husband told me his ahi tuna bowl had a ton of soy sauce in the bottom and the rice was swimming in it, so he didn't finish that. We won't be returning. I have written many yelp reviews and almost all our positive. If I don't like a restaurant, I usually just don't review it. But after reading other negative reviews for this restaurant, I figured I should warn people. Had I read the reviews first, I probably wouldn't have gone. Lesson learned.
