I never did mini golf before so I have nothing to compare it to, but I can think of worse ways to spend an hour on a nice day getting a little exercise and having a few laughs for under $10 a person. Pro tip: throw back a few Bay Breezes first then hit the fairway. The course was kind of cramped, very little distance between holes and at a few places it was a little hard to tell which way to walk to get to the next consecutive hole. They were tricky, but not overly challenging. They have a ridiculous rule that all members of a "large" (whatever that means) group have to finish one hole before moving on to the next. So we're behind a group of three adults and four little kids, with other people starting to crowd behind us, while the family is still working on hole 4 while hole 5 is empty and waiting for someone to play it. Even the little boy, displaying great common sense, asked "can't I go on ahead?" "NO - you have to wait till we're all finished!" Again, I ask: WHY? Eventually we just skipped that hole and went ahead of them. It was annoying that you get just one ball with your fee, and if it's lost in the water you have to pay more for additional balls. Mine unfortunately went sailing but my husband and I then just shared one golfball for the remaining holes we played. We didn't do the whole 18. I did get one hole in one so I was a happy golfer. read more

What happened to the blue water fall? This place is just keeping the lights on. Staff was watching us as if we could damage the place any more ourselves?? If after dark, the back holes have no lighting. And an important tip, bring bug spray. My kids got eaten alive. Probably because the stagnant water that used to have a working pump. In all, not too terrible. And local. And price was about right. With the right expectations you could have fun here. read more

J and I wanted to go out and enjoy the beautiful sunny day and also to do something atypical, so we decided to do some mini golfing. Craw's Nest is hidden away - the entrance is accessible in a parking lot. We circled around the block a few times before we just decided to park and walk around until we found it - and tada! There it was. Anyway, we walked in, paid for a game for 2 and got started. It was around 5pm and the whole place was empty (for a second, we had thought the place was closed). It is a tiny place without a lot of bells and whistles, but they do have the typical tunnels and things - good times. Around the 5th hole, there was still no one around and I thought maybe we could play each hole twice! Lo and behold, by the time we were at the 7th hole, the place had filled up with 3-4 parties. Lesson learned: don't try to cheat the system. (^.^) By the time we left, around 6:30ish, the place had filled up and people were leaving to come back when it was less busy. Thing to note: If you bring your filled scorecard to Pip's Ice Cream Parlor down the block, they will put free sprinkles on your ice cream cone. This place is a waste of money! It's dirty & run down & not worth it!! This is an 18 hole course that's full of mosquitoes, dragonflies & wasps! The grounds are poorly kept, it smells of dirty sewage, and the grass is dead! It's supposed to be a pirate theme, but there are no decorations, only some broken wooden cages & murky green water that smells like sewer water. I can't believe they charge a fee to get in. They should be paying people to come to that sad mess! I was disgusted at the atmosphere & extremely disappointed that I wasted the kids time & my time at such a lousy place. I read it's great for children & families. No it's not! The kids hated it bc there were bugs everywhere & they kept running from the bees that kept bothering them. This place needs a total renovation, some good landscaping & a good cleanup to remove the disgusting stagnant water that's a breading ground for mosquitoes. read more

Worst experience ever. Was followed around by the manager and then yelled at by a teen (on behalf of the manager, he told us) for accidentally going the wrong way on the course. Which, we went the wrong way because we were uncomfortable by the manager who was standing on a hole watching us. I tried reaching out to the company via email, but they never responded. This place has everything: a pond of standing sewer water, swarms of bugs, total darkness for two holes, overgrown shrubbery, broken floorboards, and so much more. What a steal for $9.50! Seriously though, this place used to be our favorite. It's such a shame it has been allowed to fall into such disrepair. read more

First thing is first, this place was very hard to find. The signage is barely visible from the street. Secondly, it is very dark here. You might as well be golfing the 9th hole with your eyes closed. Customer service was great but I wouldn't return. I think my eyes have been permanently damaged from the strain of having to find the golf ball in the dark. read more

Went this past weekend and the place is infested with green flies and mosquito's. The water fall are not working and are infested with mold. The place is run down and nothing works. The golf clubs are coming apart and none of the kids working there were helpful. When we complained about the bugs and getting bit they said they had bug spray but we would have to buy it. When we asked for the manager we were just smiled at. do not visit this establishment you will regret the itching you will have to do after!!! read more

I went there this morning, thinking the kids would love mini golfing. Enjoyed walking the mile, however, we got to the place at 1150. Opened at 12:10, 10 minutes late. We finally got in. We were second family online. Something was wrong with the register after the family in front of us paid and the worker couldnt figure it out. Called his manager, they didnt answer. So he told me we had to leave because he didnt know what else to do. He turned away a PAYING CUSTOMER!! Seriously?! Never again!! read more
