The worst mini golf course I have ever played. Maybe it was good in 1982 (the last time it was updated or renovated) but now, it's just a waste of money. At $8/person, it's a significant waste of money. All the holes are terrible, the place is a dump, and they don't even have mats to place the balls on. They did, though, I swear...in 1982. read more

These reviews are confusing. This place is extremely worn down. To put things into perspective, multiple machines broke down while people were using them. We had to have their maintenance guy or manager come back and fix the machine. He's also extremely slow so you're waiting 15+ minutes for this guy to make some sort of adjustment. The bats and helmets look like they are from the 1980s. Definitely bring your own equipment. Also the pitching machines aren't calibrated properly. The balls come in eye level for an adult (at least on the machine we were using). The place is run by teenagers which is fine but they don't really care about the customers. I get it, I was a teenager once too lol. Lastly the mini golf looks absolutely rough. Everything is extremely worn and the area is small. It looks like an absolute dump. We need a nicer facility to open up in Nassau county. But this dump isn't worth going to at all. read more

I came in today to take the ladies from the autistic group home to the batting cage. We come here all the time and the owner with the glasses is always nice and accommodating. Today we came in and the latin guy with the beard was extremely rude. I asked him if I can get receipts for the ladies because I have to show how their money is being spent. He said something but I couldn't hear him that well. I asked him can you repeat that , with a huge attitude he says "I told you no what don't you understand". You guys lost several customers today due to poor customer service. I do not recommend this business if it's people like that you are hiring. read more

Nice batting cage. They offer machines that pitch baseballs between 30-80mph. They also have softball machines that pitch 30mph and higher, as well as high arc. The machines give you 10 pitches per coin. Each coin costs about $2. But the more coins you buy, the cheaper they are. However, as a result of Covid, they are not not lending out bats, so bring your own. The facility also has 18 hole mini golf, it's costs $8 a person, but it is well worth it. The machines work generally well. There's a BIG but regarding this facility though. You Must bring your own bat. (We forgot my nephews bat on this trip) The bats provided are in deplorable condition and should be in the garbage. Especially the children's bats. All are worn down so that the weight and length are completely illegible. And more disappointing, most are so old and overused they are actually bent. Very hard for a little leaguer to hit a 40 or 50 mph pitch with a crooked bat. This place isn't cheap to bat for an hour or so. The least they could do is provide usable equipment. read more

I decided to trek out here in NYC with a couple of friends after developing this "craving" for the need to hit up the batting cages. I haven't been to the batting cages in literally a decade and I was curious to see how I would perform. There are about 10 pitching machines all throwing out pitches from 25-80 mph. The softball throwing machines are located behind the concession booth, while the baseball throwing machines are located directly in front. Aluminum baseball and softball bats are provided throughout the venue as well as batting helmets. You can also bring your own equipment as well as I saw batters using wood baseball bats. I don't really recommend the exact pricing of the tokens, but the more tokens you buy, the more free tokens you get. They also sell snacks such as ice cream and soda at the concession stand where you purchase your tokens. Overall, I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for batting cages in the neighborhood. They also have a mini golf course within the venue. read more

Very cool place. I liked it the most because they had tokens instead of paying a full $30+ or more on batting for 30 min or some places for only 15 min and it was so expensive. They also have mini golf that i didnt try but looked fun. & My nephew liked the batting practice he was able to receive which was great for me to see him happy! read more

Batter up is a cash business where bringing your own bat is highly recommended. They also don't have a large selection of related materials for sale like batting gloves or bat tape. If you come with your own gear and about $10-20 bucks for tokens you'll have what you came for. The cages range in speeds, the machines work well and the staff tries to accommodate most requests. This is my favorite batting range because it's outdoors so you can actually see where your hits are going, not just hitting into a nearby net or cage. It's got all speed levels for baseball and softball. There is also a miniature gold course and a couple of little coin operated rides for kids. They sell hot dogs and pretzels. read more

I love that this place is still here. They sure come in handy when you need to get out some tension. A while back they had some issues with the machines getting stopped up and the balls not coming out. But gladly they seemed to have had a makeover and the machines are improved. I practically grew up here. Playing baseball on Long Island when you need some extra BP this is the place to go. They have iron mike machines with the mechanical arms rather than the wheeled machines which are hard to read. Pitch location is rather erratic, however the staff is happy to give you a free round and adjust the pitch to your liking. The mini golf here is also lots of fun and open late on summer evenings. read more

I go here a lot, all the way from Babylon. This place is excellent. It's a great friendly family owned business. The owner is a gentlemen and knowledgeable about the sports of baseball and softball. This is only place I've ever seen that has bats on hand that you can demo. I've bought many bats the last couple of years from other places (ie.. Dicks sports authority and online) and never able to demo them. Good bats are very expensive and a big commitment. I recently ended up buying 3 bats ( my son, daughter and for my softball team) from here and would highly recommend buying from here and I will continue to buy in the future. read more

Nothing special but nothing bad. Everything you would expect from a batting cage but not much more. Cash only is not best thing. Good for a quick trip to warm up for the game or practice.
