The lighting could be better on certain courts.. uhem courts 1, 2, 3, but my friends and i love coming here because honestly we know these courts inside out. We know which are the good courts and which courts have some hiccups, we come here so often know where the dead spots are on certain courts but with all that the prices at night for private courts cant be beat. One of my friends had a bad experience recently and I'm glad the owners took her experience into consideration and addressed the issue pertaining that specific employee. (if you scroll through all the bad reviews on google, its always about that one specific employee.) This place has become so popular that it is always booked out 2 weeks in advance. Looking forward to seeing how this place continues to grow and improve. Love the majority of the courts here especially their newer ones court 11&12. It has a little more privacy and prevents balls from flying all over into other peoples courts and vice versa. Some courts especially court 2 is less desirable in my opinion, it's dark and hard to focus or see the ball. Some courts do have water dripping from ceiling during rainy/ snowy days but it's not significant enough to become a hazard. Appreciate that they now have 24 hour options available. All of their staff are amazing except the one senile old guy, he's just miserable. (IYKYK) We come here regularly and seeing him just ruins your day/mood. Overall good courts with no dead bounces, adequate overhead space and lighting and clean bathrooms. There's parking to the side of the building (across the street) and in the back, however on snowy days it is a dangerous trek.

Parking lot is a…read morebit tight and might not have enough spots to accommodate all the players but parking in the area isn't too bad. Bathrooms have lockers and showers. They have open play that you can sign up for based on skill level as well as court rentals. Went to a social open play where 20 people split 4 pickleball courts and the games went smoothly and there was not a lot of down time between games. Open play was a little confusing at first but people there will let you know how the randomized teaming-up works so it prevents a "dominant team" from playing together the whole time. In addition to the facility having everything you would want in terms of pickleball courts, what makes the open plays really fun is the crowd. Everyone was really friendly and there was no negative body language no matter what the score is, who your partner was, or who the opponents were. Everyone was there to play some pickleball and have a good time.

I'm not a fan of B-Ball yet my friend, Coach Dock of Shooting Stars, thought I should handle the clock for the start of his basketball league. Hahahahahahaha! Surely he's joking. He wasn't. Mitchel Gym is tucked away in Garden City and it'll be better if you have your own transportation to get to it. There is ample parking so don't worry. The gym is very spacious. A huge court downstairs with a balcony that has standing room only. The bathrooms are also a good size and they were clean on my visit. If you're using the gym for games/leagues, you'd have to supply your benches, tables etc. The gym is also used for the training of various sports. I had a wonderful time learning and clocking (I don't know if that's even a term) a game at Mitchel Gym. The prices are reasonable for such a run-down place. Everything is ancient and needs at least some touch-up, but for the price they charge, it is all right. The rentals are ok; some days, you get better equipment if you are lucky. The locks for your personal belongings need quarters; some eat your money and won't work. The ring itself gets overcrowded very fast, and one of the annoying things is some trainers get very aggravated if you ski too close to their trainee while knowing it is public hours. The ice gets pretty bit up very fast!

I'm currently learning to play pickleball I will definitely go to Pickleball Prime to play once I get to play the game a little better. There was music and Photo Booth. Lifestyle Cafe was there with their delicious all natural juices. I had the watermelon it was delicious. The food was upstairs. There was plenty of seating and a great overview of the courts. The owners and staff just so friendly and welcoming as soon you entered the doors. It really set the tone for a wonderful experience! I'm new to pickle ball so it could have been so easy for me to feel like a fish out of water, especially with all the excitement of a grand opening event, but the moment I entered, they helped me figure out exactly which courts to go to, based on my experience level. I quickly got friendly with fellow players and was off to the races. I must have played 3 games on 3 different courts, and each was just as spacious and perfect as the last. I even got in a ping pong game! I can't wait to come back and take a lesson with one of their talented coaches and start stepping my game up! What is really cool about this facility is that you don't have to be a member to attend sessions or open play, you simply have to pay the drop in fee. Very cool if you ask me!

It is very affordable. The facility is clean. Crowded at certain times but that's at every gym. I wish they had more cardio equipment but everyone is respectiful of the time limit, cleaning the equipment down & waiting their turn. The weight room is larger & offers a lot of different machines & free weights. The locker rooms & pool have been redone since Sandy & they did a great job. My favorite is the steam room. All the staff are friendly. It's a great spot to run into neighbors, store owners & friends. It's rare to go there & not see someone you know from the community.
