The brunch menu prices are pretty reasonable. I came for brunch and would definitely return to try the dinner menu. I wish they had more cardio equipment but everyone is respectiful of the time limit, cleaning the equipment down & waiting their turn. The weight room is larger & offers a lot of different machines & free weights. The locker rooms & pool have been redone since Sandy & they did a great job. My favorite is the steam room. All the staff are friendly. It's a great spot to run into neighbors, store owners & friends. It's rare to go there & not see someone you know from the community. He asks me to wait outside and he'll be right with me. 20 minutes later he walks out and says that I'm actually 25 minutes late now and their policy is to not accept anyone more than 15 minutes late. Nowhere was this on time policy stated on any of the emails leading up to this class. Traffic is insane in New York City and it's a blessing to be just five minutes late for anything. I can't stop thinking of the smug look on the instructor's face as he delighted in telling me that he made me miss the course and wouldn't let me in. This is a pathetic excuse for a company.
