Great ambiance, really fun holes. The theming is great and the holes are diverse from one another. Highly recommend!

Superfun and original mini-golf! Such a unique pirate-themed setup where you go up to the crows next and down to the cove for your 18 holes. What a great way to spend time on the boardwalk. It's also a good way to (temporarily) get out of the heat. Such a memorable experience. read more

I had wanted to try this spot for a long time just because it looked like fun. Well I can report it is in fact fun! It's a bit older of a course but I like their aesthetic, and they have a variety of holes to keep you entertained on your mini golf circuit. It's pretty typical overall for mini golf, but you can't go wrong here. read more

I play way too much mini golf, I may have a problem, I know this, but with all the mini golf I play very few make me say wow they got this right, Castaway Cove is one of the ones that made me say wow. Castaway Cove is 2 18 holes course located right in the heart of Point Pleasant's boardwalk. The theming of the place is shipwreck/pirates, and this places nails the theming, they have massive waterfalls, and ships and intricate set pieces in the caves too look at, but they also nail the smaller stuff, if you look at the rocks you might see a small fossil in there as well. The courses are both well designed they go up and down, around and thru the mountain the course is built upon. I like that each course have verity on them, you are inside than out side, then down some steps and inside again, it is a nice variety you don't see on may course. The holes are very well done, they are unique and not too challenging, but they are all different enough so that you do not get board playing them. The replay value is high here, the courses are soo different that you should play both. Overall one of the best mini golf courses that I have played, defiantly some place you should visit if you are in the Point Pleasant area. read more

Always have a great time at Castaway Cove! Prices are reasonable and I love the two different paths you can choose. Bottom one is harder. Top one is meant more for families with younger kids. You can move at your own pace and it's really fun. My son really enjoyed himself and I think it was worth the price. read more

Castaway Cove - Mini Golf Near Me - Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey

Interesting interiors, views, and lots of challenging fun for all ages and experience levels.

Great mini golf course that had stood against he storm of sandy. It hasn't changed for years and really speaks to the childhood memories you've cultivated at the jersey shore. Definitely a staple to your jersey shore vacation. Prices aren't ridiculous and there are two courses to choose from. There may be a crowd but you're never waiting for more than 3-5 minutes for a hole and that's over holiday weekends most likely. The course entrance is tucked away adjacent to Martells tiki bar so you'll have to go to the board walk to get in. One of the better, more entertaining courses on the barrier island. Be mindful of the wind when you go, the wind always seems to be stronger on this course than anywhere on the boardwalk. read more

What's especially cool about this place is that it's several levels. You basically play your game in and throughout a pirate ship that seems to have beached itself. It wasn't expensive really, a few dollars for an hour or more of pretty decent challenging holes and a good time. There were some holes where I totally could have lost my ball altogether and we teamed up to keep each other's balls on the course. By and large, a good location and a staple of beach going. read more

Google said that they closed at 11:30pm so I went at 11:07pm. I waited "in line" for 5 minutes before being told that the people in front of me weren't even in line. Then when getting to the front desk we were told that once the doors close we have 20 minutes to play. However, "they only had one course open and it was very crowded". I thought that this meant we would have 20 minutes after 11:30 so we'd have until 11:50 to play (although that still didn't make sense). However, the lady at the front desk, who gave us attitude may I add, told us that "no the door doesn't get closed at 11:30 it gets closed whenever they want and would probably be closed at 11:20". From a person who works in customer service, if the door closes at 11:30 and you are in by 11:30 then you can have the service that you paid for, aka play the holes until you are finished. Highly disappointed in the customer service this location and lady provided. read more

I would come back here a bunch of times!! It was a great mini golf course & nice staff . Loved the waterfall in the middle of it & that it takes time to play! Price is right , totally worth it . Go check this spot out ! read more

Great staff. If you don't know how to play or keep score these guys will go out of the way to show you and go the extra mile to make sure you have a great experience. read more

The course itself was okay and my kids enjoyed it, but the dude with the long hair at the counter was very unfriendly.

I'm a sucker for mini golf and especially if there's a theme. There's 2 courses to choose from. My sister and I asked which one had less kids and were directed to Shipwreck Bay. We had a pleasant experience and the price was right ($10). It could use a couple of more obstacle for its courses, but I imagine the reason they keep it simple is so the games move along quickly because they get a lot of foot traffic from the boardwalk. read more

To my surprise i thought this course was quite boring. When asking the guy at the counter which one he suggested he said the bottom one was harder and the top was easier. So we did the bottom. Some of the greens are really short. Most of the greens don't have anything blocking them to make them even a little difficult. While driving by here i really like the look of it but i would not suggest it. read more

Probably the best mini golf course around. Every where else is flat and pretty cheesy. Also, it's nice that you can just walk right onto the boardwalk afterwards. read more

Went here on a Wednesday night around 5:00pm towards the end of summer. It wasn't too packed and we only had to wait a bit on each hole for the family in front of us. I thought it was a bit overpriced at $10/adult but considering its one of the nicer ones on the boardwalk I would recommend it. It doesn't have too much going on and lost of the courses are flat but again it's slim pickings with mini golf in Point! read more
