No trip to the Jersey Shore would be complete without a round of mini golf! Chadwick Miniature Golf is my family's favorite mini golf course, and we make sure to play at least one game here on our yearly vacation. The facility is pretty old fashioned, as it only accepts cash and most of the hole-marker decorations are the same as they were when my father came here as a kid. Also, most of the clubs were rusting and there were no left-handed clubs. However, none of this stopped us from having lots of fun! We were a group of seven, and while the rule is only "five per party," the employee allowed us to keep our whole group together since the course wasn't very busy. There was a nice breeze while we were playing, so the shade-less course wasn't really a problem. We played at our own pace and celebrated every hole in one, creating great family memories. *ONE THING TO NOTE* There is only street parking near the golf course, and since it's right next to a cluster of pickleball/tennis and basketball courts, almost every street spot was occupied. We ended up parking at Wawa, which was a good choice because we could stop for post-game snacks after we played! read more

Definitely do NOT recommend Chadwick miniature golf (the one across from the Wawa)! We just went with all women/girls/children. We played the game properly and we're almost finished... being it's a busy summer night it got a little backed up but nothing crazy... The owner came over and got loud in my face aggressively asking me "what are you doing??! can't you see it's backed up, I just lost a family of 5!!!" I told him I'm with a 3 year old and I backed up because he made me uncomfortable. He stepped forward into my face again and got louder. I told him to get away from me that he's lucky my husband and father aren't here. He said "am I lucky or are they?" and proceeded to approach me and my stroller with my baby in it aggressively. So I grabbed my kids and got the heck out of there! The owner is insanely unprofessional/creepy...id steer clear of that place with your kiddos! We paid to be there and couldn't finish our game. He was more worried about making more money than letting the people that paid already have a good time. He could have easily just let us finish or asked nicely! But he felt tough because it was a group of women. Never seen anything like it. We want our money back. read more

Summer isn't complete without a game of mini golf at Chadwick each! It is a large course and spans over 1/2 a block, great for all ages. We love that they have an assortment of clubs for all abilities and heights. The owner has taken great pride in his course with many noticeable details, new concrete edges, ball washer, & updated greenways. The owner has a cute little scavenger hunt for the kiddos and the gentleman was very friendly to our son when he found the hidden puppy! No bells and whistles but a great time for fun! read more

Owner sitting watching TV in his front box, did not really acknowledge you as you walked in. We came on a whim because we have came here for a number of years and since it was a quieter weekend we thought we would go... well that was a mistake. He hustled all the groups around and kept reiterating that he was shutting the lights off in the next hour even with a decently packed course. We also watching him reprimand some kids who was just enjoying themselves on a nice night. For $11 I would recommend going somewhere else like Barnacle Bills in Lavalette or Smugglers cove in Seaside heights read more

My step sister who accidently hit the ball into a somethint in the course which caused the ball to go really high in the air on accident. We apoligized and he asked us if we had something wrong with our brains and followed us around talking to us. he then told us not to finish the course snd was being so rude and other people stood up for us yelling at the worker. Great miniature golf course along Route 35 by the beach. This is a classic style 'old school' type of course. No fancy extravagant themes around the course but very nice challenging holes with clean-cut greens, obstacles, and real putters. Friendly service and nice location. Give it a try whether you're visiting the shore or live in Ocean County. read more

You know you're at the Jersey Shore when your mid-afternoon starter is a gentlemanly tween. This is a nice diversion, especially on the afternoon of a cloudy or lightly raining day. Some fun specialty holes. It's $8 per person and you can play twice before 5pm. No pencils - use the pens at each tee - but there is a real golf course ball washer mid-round. i was having a great time playing mini golf with my family on my birthday until the employee disrespected my sister. she accidentally hit a ball and it bounced out of the court and he got very angry. after apologizing and agreeing to go get the ball he asked her multiple times "what is wrong with your brain". she is only 15 and was nothing more than cooperative and he continued to yell and told us not to come back. read more

Husband grew up near the area and always has fond memories going miniature golfing with his family. Now he enjoys more than anything to share with his own family to come here and play a round of miniature golf with our 7 year old. $8 to play a round once; twice before 5 pm. Cash only. They need to buy new clubs more expensive than other mini golf places in the area

The price of $8.00 was very expensive per person, no lesser charge for children. Also, keep in mind that the person sitting in the booth is watching you on camera at all times playing each hole, of which there is no sign posted. A bit odd! read more
