Took my kids here one day. I like that they have two different course options. The courses were nice in having different layouts for each hole, some were within a cave, you have different elevations, surrounded by water. Just a warning, there are stairs or steep hill you have to walk up and down throughout the course, but you will be fine if no mobility issues. The only downside I would say is the course is a little beat up. Could use an upgrade on the turf. I would visit again if in the area. read more

If you're in the area, it's a great activity to do with young kids and families. Some reviews stated the turf isn't as great and leveled as it should be. I did see that at some holes but overall it's a fun environment if you're there just to have a good time and spend time with loved ones. My kid and I love this place. First, it's conveniently close to where I live, and second, it has two levels, so there's almost always a booth available. They also have a good selection of golf coaches. If you can't afford a coach who charges over $1,000, I recommend Danny Choi, who offers more affordable options. Wow, Spring Rock Golf Center is a very cool location for mini-golf and driving range. Review is for mini-golf. This location is very well maintained. Come here a couple of times to play mini-golf. Large parking lot for both the range and mini-golf. Have yet to see any geese but there is a geese guard. Plan accordingly as they do get booked for parties..the first time here we got to play both courses. Romeo (total par 50) and Juliet (total par 38) ... cute names. Romeo is the harder of the 2 courses and will cost $1 more. The second time only Juliet since Romeo was booked for a birthday party. Overall, the courses are very nice and well maintained... there are weekday and weekend prices for the courses. Vending machines are available for beverage purchases. There are 2 restrooms. The courses are very interesting and not as easy as it may seem for some. They do clean the putters after each use, which is good. If you plan to go to the driving range, you must bring your own clubs. There are no rentals given the pandemic. read more

Nice mini golf area located in a golf range that has a bar/eat restaurant; right off Hillside Ave and New hyde Park Road on Denton rd.. The actual mini golf is off to the side of the large parking lot, you go there to pay and play. They only accept credit cards, no cash. Bathrooms are inside the main building where the restaurant and golf range are. Although it is off from a busy road, there is minimal noise. Well maintained, clean, and young friendly staff. They have two different mini golf courses; one named Romeo and the other Juliet. Romeo is a bit more challenging, so if you are going with younger kids, Juliet is the easier of the two. 18 holes in each course, creative setups for each hole. They give you a card and pencil to keep score, and they have different size putters to cater from kids to adults. Got through the Romeo course in about 1.5 hours, we took our time and weren't rushed through. There is a little pond area within the mini golf course with turtles and coi fish. You can buy ice cream in the booth where you pay for golfing, and there are several eating areas with umbrellas to shade from the sun. 2 adults and one child came to $34 for the Romeo course; Juliet course is a dollar or two cheaper per person. Would recommend it, and I plan on returning, to practice becoming the next Tiger Woods, lol. read more

Came here to drive some balls down the range. The place was packed and the worst part about it is that half of the cages didn't have rubber tees!!! WTF!!!! It's a driving range!!! Range is okay - not the best and if you hit from a stall on the ground floor, it's very difficult to gauge where your ball lands as there are no target greens, just flags. Nets on the leading edges of each stall prevent you from picking targets across the range. Avoid the simulator - tried it for two hours and you aren't able to change courses or go to driving range mode without having to call an attendant as it requires a password. The screen was a sheet, so the picture of the course was not vivid at all. Finally, the mat where you hit from had a pretty worn area creating a divot where the ball position is to allow the sensor to read it. Not worth $45 an hour. read more

Tired mini golf course which doesn't keep the ball in place because the carpet is worn. The ground has also settled, more underneath the "Juliet" course, and 1/3 of the holes are pretty much unplayable. If they changed the carpets, it would help immensely. The landscaping is well kept. read more

This review is for the range and bar. First the range was good for the price (if you have a card) $15 for 200 balls. The range was full but only waited a few minutes for someone to finish and leave. The person behind the counter was courteous and friendly. After the range we went to the bar. It was about 9:45 PM on a Friday. Place was relatively empty. We order a beer and then realized the Yankee game was on and asked if they can change the channel on TV. The bartender was nice and she changed the channel. We ordered a second beer and we were told that is last call which was fine. About 5 to 10 minutes max, the TV's were turned off and the lights dimmed. When we asked what happened too the game they said the kitchen turned it off. It was the 10th inning and almost over. It felt as if we were being kicked out. The good thing was they did offer to go cups to finish our beer outside. Once outside, we finished our beers and about 11pm we were told the parking lot is about to close. I'll definitely go back to the range and maybe if it's 10pm I just won't go to that bar in particular. If earlier I'll give it another shot. read more

Mini golf was very appealing to the eye with the fountain, pond and fish. We chose to do the Juliet course, as Romeo was very crowded. However, it seemed it was crowded for a reason. Around 4ish of the holes on the Juliette course were unplayable. They were mostly all uneven, causing the balls to always roll away to the same spots next to the wall. Maybe our experience will be different at Romeo, but it was demoralizing read more

This is such a wonderful driving range to practice. It does become very crowded though. The past couple of times we have come to visit, almost no room left in the parking lot. Staff is always courteous and friendly. Restrooms are clean. They have a miniature golf area and it's a lot of fun. Not a lot of thrills in terms of the best looking mini golf (I guess thinking of all of those fun places with waterfalls and such outside of New York). Actually white challenging though. Be sure to bring bug spray! They have a restaurant bar on property. We had a wrap here once and nachos. Food was ok. read more

Honestly the concept of a driving range is so great - you bring in people who want to work on their swing or just want to try something new and hang around with their friends. However, it really looks like no one is really upkeeping the place. It kind of gives you an overall dirty feel - the turf in your bay is lump, the area where you hit the balls out has no appeal, and the cubbies always have some dirt or webs in them. I recently went to Topgolf, and I know that is definitely an extreme difference of pricing, but it was such a different feel. If they tried to make Spring Rock a bit more appealing and cleanly it would attract so many more people and events in the area. I do appreciate the price of Spring Rock and how easily accessible it may be to those who truly want to just hit balls out, but I feel like it can be able to be utilized for so much more. read more

As far as the value for a driving range, it is great! They have a Range Card with Bonuses if you preload. Golf Balls to Amount paid is good. Everything else is just ok. Everything just needs some sprucing up. It has a "run down" appearance to it and it doesn't seem it's maintained well. People still come for the value. My husband and I went here to play mini golf. We had a pretty good time! The course was fun and cute. We went early afternoon on Sunday and there wasn't a wait. It was nice and we could take our time. We grabbed Brunch at The Clubhouse and came back for a second game. At this point there was a wait and it was very crowded. This second time we felt very rushed. There were always people directly ahead of us and directly behind us. Sunday's apparently are a very busy day and they have a lot of families playing. I would recommend going early. It was a much different experience. I would try this place out again, but it felt pretty pricey for mini golf to me. You get a deal by playing subsequent times, but if you only plan to play once, it doesn't feel quite worth it. I don't want to fudge up the numbers but I believe (for the Romeo course) it was $9.50 per person first round and $4.50 a person for additional rounds. The game has the potential to go by very quick (if you don't have anyone ahead of you) so nearly $20 felt pricey for one; less than $30 for 2 games on the other hand felt more reasonable. I will say what drove me crazy was the fact that there were no recycle or trash bins along the way. My husband and I held out empty water bottles the entire course. They were annoying to hold but I would never leave trash on the floor. However, it most cases you can see people just threw their Gatorade, soda, water bottles and wrappers along the course. That bothered me a lot. First off, I hate litter and how little regard people seem to have by tossing their garbage on the floor. But I feel it would make sense for the golf course to add some little recycle or trash bins along the way. It'd be less of an eye soar than garbage all over. Plus, that cannot be fun, nor is it nice to the staff at night picking up all the things people didn't feel the need to discard on their own. read more

I've been coming to this mini golf course for many years. Some parts of it are very pretty. There are 2 different options - Romeo and Juliet. Both are 18 holes (Romeo used to be 21 holes) but Romeo is more difficult. Both are fun. The obstacles are all bricks, sloped turf, or the course is winding. This was my first time here this year and I am extremely disappointed to see that the entire place was covered in trash. Cups, bottles, wrappers, a sock??, and other random garbage was everywhere!! It disgusts me that people litter like that and I hope the owners plan to clean up area. I was very tempted to go back and do it myself. read more

We rented a few clubs to use when we came, but they only have a select number of irons to choose from and a sign that says no drivers. Ok fine... except the irons are ancient and overall not good clubs. I would come back but definitely with my own clubs. I've never been to their driving range, but their mini-golf is a good time. You can chose between two courses; the Romeo or the Juliet. The Romeo is 21 holes and the Juliet is 18. We were in a group of 5 and went at about 8 p.m. I felt a bit bad because right after we started the Romeo a bunch of smaller groups joined the course and had to wait for us. We didn't dawdle, but you know, we wanted to enjoy our experience too. The holes are fun and the course isn't gimmicky like you'll find in touristy towns (just drive through Lake George upstate and you'll see what I mean) I like that the Romeo travels inside the fake rocks because you get a pretty view of the fountain. It's fun, inexpensive ($8 per adult, I forget how much for children), and offers a bonding activity with light friendly competition. read more

I really like their mini golf course. There's 2 courses you can go on, although you have to pay separate admission for both. The choices are "Romeo" which is the more difficult course and "Juliet" which is the easier one I guess. We chose the Romeo course and overall the green was pretty clean and difficulty level is pretty challenging. The only thing I didn't like was how some of the courses were not leveled. No matter where you hit, the ball would roll to the same spots or be out of bounds. They need to do a little bit more maintenance. The driving range located on the other side is spacious and has two levels. You pay for the amount of balls you want inside their deli looking space and you bring your receipt to a machine which has your pass code to retrieve the balls. Overall a really nice and clean golf center and I would definitely come back to try "Juliet" next time. read more

Do not go this place unless you cover your face. There were so many people to close each other without any care. In this Covid19 season, the owner should build some protection gear for people. They only were mentioned about front desk and entrance about social distancing. They were not much care about practicing place. So many people were gathering as close as possible. Came here for a nice friendly match couple vs couple. We played the romeo court 21 holes. I love playing almost what is like a mountain the water feature is great. The course does need a little tlc.. There were some bricks missing on some of the courses. I wish for each next course is stated how many par you should get the ball in. Lastly as beautiful as the water feature is... It is like a mosquito breeding ground. Wish there was some safe chemical they could put in there to keep the mosquito count less. Maybe some colors for the water at night would look cool. read more

They have a snack/ food bar (no alcohol) and the place is fairly clean. Upstairs, it was a bit frustrating that it was hard to find 2 spaces together that didn't have the Tees pulled out of the mats. Be careful walking in the parking lot, the pavement is a tidal wave of cracks and divots which is a tripping hazard. Despite the signs that state no smoking, there is always a guy who smokes out back behind the stairs. Tees on the range mats are not adjustable. Ownership bolted down mats to not allow golfers to insert their own rubber tee; I state this because a tee height for me is not an appropriate tee height for my son. They did offer a deal in August to purchase a range card for $100 and receive a $50 credit. However I learned the hard way that the golf ball dispensing machine #4 on level 2 doesn't work. For a 200 ball count ($15) I received at best 50ish balls. Cafe desk couldn't help when informed them. read more

For those of you who probably won't take the time to read this entire review, let me describe my experience in a few words: I would rather spend a month in prison than another minute here. From the onset, I knew this place was bad news. The front desk is perched a top a slanted platform (slanted must be the theme of this course), such that you are constantly forced to stretch your calves against your will. Next, due to the slant, my friends ball started rolling away and in attempt to pick it up, he tripped on a hidden sprinkler head. If only the lighting was good enough to see that. Believe it or not, it only gets worse from here. EVERY SINGLE HOLE IS SLANTED such that regardless of what you do with your first shot, it ends up in the exact same spot. It became such a joke that on the back nine, my friends and I started hitting our first shots with our eyes closed because it genuinely doesn't matter. On many holes, the course is so slanted that you are forced to hit your tee shots either 1) while its rolling 2) like a wrist shot in hockey and push it. To say my wirsts hurt after last nights debacle is an understatement. Thank goodness i played JV hockey in high-school or else. Maybe there was a very unfortunate landslide or an earthquake on the island I must have missed, or else this was simply the worst designed course in the history of mini golf. Finally, we showed up at 10PM and you would think that a course that's open until midnight would have adequate lights... *NEWSFLASH... WRONG*. I couldn't even see half of the holes. They should sell flashlights at the front counter along with clubs, balls, and snacks. I had two positive takeaways from this experience: finally leaving once we finished, and the gentlemen working behind the desk was a pleasure to speak with and was very helpful/friendly. Growing up I was always told to stay away from strangers. What I should have been told is, stay away from the Spring Rock Golf Center's minigolf course. read more
