From start to finish Chris and his family helped explain cost and everything else. One of the items that needed to be sent was about 100 years old (found that out from my family after I had shipped it) and it was packaged so well when it arrived with the other items. To give some clarity on its journey, I had 2 chairs, a 100-year-old tea set and some fragile wall oddly shaped art that all went on one pallet. The pallet according to the tracking was transferred about 6 times on other trucks to make it here so it was bumped around countless times in terminals being loaded and unloaded. All arrived with 0 scratches, dents and fully intact. No better feeling then unpacking everything and seeing it in the condition I sent it in.

Friday came and went and I never got a call. I called Monday of the following week and was told I could pick up the boxes. I arrive only to find out that my boxes were never ordered and payment was never taken. The irresponsible owner wrote down my business card number on a piece of paper and apparently lost it. They acted like it was no big deal, were very unprofessional and rude. Do with this message what you will..

Eco Movers LV

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We moved from Las Vegas to South Carolina and did a ton of research on other…read moremoving companies before deciding on Eco Movers LV. Their price was in the middle of the two other companies we narrowed it down too but we decided to do Eco Movers due to our initial reaction of getting quotes and questions answered. They were very responsive and I could tell they were not trying to hit you over the head with hidden fees or additional costs like some of the other companies. Everything they quoted was a set price with no fluctuations. We booked everything a few months in advance to be proactive but Leury and his team made sure to check in with us before moving day. He came by and did a walk through of our 3 bed/2 story home to make sure he and his team had what they needed. The only thing I wasn't expecting was to pay for the blankets used for wrapping, but I take responsibility for that as Leury was not aware that our belongings would be staying in storage, and did not want to remove the blankets so our stuff wouldn't be damaged. I appreciated the thoughtfulness and had no issues paying the extra for that. The guys that arrived to pack our stuff were so nice. We had about 3 guys show up and they did their thing. They made sure to point out any of our furniture that had previous dings or cracks and took pictures for reference. They were super quick and efficient and wrapped our fragile and heavy furniture. We did the packing ourselves and only hired them to move so we appreciated them wrapping things as part of their service. After they were done we were given an estimated time of arrival for our items and as always, they stayed in communication with us along the way. They gave us daily updates of where our load was on the journey. We had someone else be there for when our load arrived and they let us know everything went smoothly! I love how thorough the whole Eco Movers team was. I always felt like my things were safe and taken care of. We also had 2 Jeeps that needed transporting and Leury and his team recommended us to their partner Mark who was equally honest and reliable. They also quoted us fixed quotes without any hidden fees, and stayed in constant communication with us. We met our driver (Enrique) across the street from our neighborhood to drop off our cars. I would note that they need space to unload some cars to put yours on, so meeting them in a more feasible location may be a thing. Thankfully we had a big lot across from our neighborhood so we just walked back after our cars were dropped off. The company used was Onway Logistics. I appreciated them providing a tracking link so you can track your cars along the way. They arrived a day before schedule and we also had someone pick the cars up for us and everything went smoothly. Overall we paid about $11.5k for the whole move. The cars were $1850 a piece and the household move came in around $7800. Again, we had quotes higher and lower than Eco Movers but felt more comfortable paying a bit more for quality service. We highly recommend Eco Movers if it's in your budget, and will keep recommending them to anyone who asks! Huge shout out to Elsa for staying in constant communication with us and being such a pleasure to work with on Leury's team. And a huge shout out to our handy movers Hunter, Jonathan, and Lee for loading our things and having fun while doing it! And Enrique for getting our vehicles there safely! And thank you to Leury for having such an amazing team and system!

Antoine and Womack were amazing! We were surprised at how fast they got things down the stairs and into the truck, they made it seem effortless. I'd recommend those gentlemen specifically to anyone who wants to work with All My Sons, very happy customers

This review is specifically based upon the movers attitudes. Which is unfortunate because the…read moreinitial call and scheduling process for our move was excellent. The scheduling department was friendly and very thorough. Which is why I was shocked when the movers showed up and displayed a different side. To begin, the first red flag that stood out to me was when my husband gave them the tour of our home and explained to them what needed to be moved and what did not need to be touched the guy told us that the move was likely going to take them more than 4 hours because it was gonna take them longer to pack things up. 4 hours is what we had agreed upon on the initial call with the company. In leading up to this move my husband and I broke down all of our bed frames and packed up more than half the items to make it easier on the movers! So realistically all we needed them to do was move it out. It was very minimal packing on their end! The second red flag was one of the movers had the audacity to complain about breaking down our box spring and then had an attitude about moving some of our living room furniture! Like are you serious!? This is what youre literally being hired for?! The third red flag was the main guy told my husband that tipping is greatly appreciated but not required. When my husband asked if he could tip them via card the guy told my husband no they only accept cash because its an under the table kind of thing! As far as getting things packed and done, they actually moved everything in a little over 2 hours. So they were quick but a lot of that had to do with my husband and is prep work to specifically make it easy for them! I wish I would've read reviews before booking with them because it was not cheap ($220hr for 3 guys) and I dont mind paying a premium but I expect the service to match the price! Overall it is what it is but I just had high expectations that were not met! We will see if I get my money refunded since they finished early but based on other reviews I dont have high hopes any more. My advice, just go with a different company and save your time and money. By the way this crew was called the "uso crew" cause I guess 2 of the guys is Samoan! The kid who looked Mexican didnt speak so this doesnt apply to him but im poly and all I have to say to those guys is you guys should be ashamed! Youre guys shitty attitude is what makes our people look bad!!!

Their Customer Care and Delivery Teams were fantastic, including Aaron (who picked up my Zippy Shell container at the destination). I have moved items from the West Coast to East Coast and back several times over the years. It is not easy moving a lot of items over a long distance without paying an arm and a leg or losing/breaking things. Zippy Shell gave me confidence that my belongings would arrive without issue (and it did). I initially signed a contract with a full, comprehensive moving service, but after hours wasted on multiple phone calls/no-shows, I ended up cancelling the service due to lack of reliability and trustworthiness from their staff. In contrast, the Zippy Shell agent on the phone worked to make the service perfect for what were important to me: budget and reliability. I wish I could remember the name of the first person that helped me at Zippy Shell in the Customer Care team. He was fantastic and gave me the confidence to go sign the agreement that day even though it was not the cheapest quote I had received. There are always little hiccups (e.g. the Zippy Shell and Pack Rat systems don't seem to play nice), but Zippy Shell has been fantastic overall! Most importantly, I felt assured my belongings would safely arrive. They will be my first call in the future.

On May 9, 2024, I reached out to Zippy-Shell, dba Pack-Rat ("Pack-Rat"), and spoke to company…read moreemployee, Ray Gudeman. He emailed me a generic price page for local moves, then directed me to Forrest Maynard, Long Distance Sales manager for Pack-Rat, out of the North Carolina headquarters. My request was for a move from Henderson, NV to Marcola, OR. At the behest of Mr. Maynard, I completed a reservation form and locked in the price of $11,248.00, to which we had agreed verbally. On May 20, 2024, Mr. Maynard offered me a senior discount, lowering the price to $10,750, which I accepted. He also advised me that my move would require only 4 containers. Within a day or two Pack-Rat sent at local "expert" to my home to do a walkthrough to determine if 4 units were enough. The expert's walkthrough was, in my opinion, very thorough, and included view of some large items, e.g., 7' work bench, patio furniture, 6' x 36' dog run, three 50-gallon water barrels, and three horse watering troughs. From the walk-thru it was determined that a 5th container would be required and that the new price would be $13,680 (this was later adjusted to $12,500, given that we chose to move to a destination which shorted the haul by several hundred miles). Mr. Maynard advised me via email that we would be packed up on January 17, 2025, and that we would be furnished with unlimited moving blankets and given 1-month free storage in Boise, ID, our destination city. No other changes were discussed nor were any other changes brought to our knowledge. My husband and I were shocked on the January 17th moving day to learn that Pack-Rat then determined that it would not only take 3 more containers to move us, but that we would have to pay for those containers as well. To our added surprise, not only did Pack Rat not move the contents of the dog run (we moved it), the workbench, the water barrels, and the horse tanks, but their actions demonstrated that the so called "expert" walk-through was without credibility, given that ultimately the company required the use of even more containers. Clearly, the original estimate, as well as the walk-through, were little more than a guess or a low-ball. Then, once our items arrived at their storage location in Boise, Pack-Rat refused to release those items to us until we paid the full balance they claimed was owing, bringing our total outlay to $20,100. In order to get access to these items, I had to pay Pack-Rat the final balance. Notwithstanding promises made to the contrary by Mr. Maynard and company agents, Pack-Rat committed other offenses as well. By way of example, and not of limitation: a) the company attempted to bill us for fuel charges, stair charges at the new residence, blanket charges, and various supply charges; b) they refused to repair or reimburse us for a cracked-in-half oak kitchen table, broken floor lamp, smashed collectable mugs, a hole kicked through the back of a hardwood bookcase, and c) they managed to lose a number of valuable items. My attempts to communicate with personnel of Zippy-Shell/Pack-Rat were not only incredibly disappointing but became increasingly frustrating to the point of maddening. I was treated with disrespect and passed from one person to another, none of which brought to me the satisfaction I sought, so desperately needed, and deserved. Management personnels' smug denials with regard to their failure to adhere to the agreed upon pricing and services, their condescending treatment of me, and their dishonest act of holding our goods hostage, not only speaks to Pack-Rat's total lack of credibility, but it smacks of what I have concluded, was dishonest intent from the start. Based on my experience, the buyer would do well to pass on what is, in my opinion, a classless organization, as it will likely result in the buyer's peril.
