Came here after trying to find a nail salon for a quick pedicure, and I was delightfully surprised. My favorite thing about getting pedicures are the nice big massage chairs, and crown nails are exceptional. Disclaimer here, they have two different types of chairs an older white version, and a newer orange and brass version which I sat in. The chair massage was delightful. I like my pedicures to be kind of quick, as much as I enjoy them, sitting in the chair for over an hour seems like forever. My pedicure was nice and quick and my nail technician did a wonderful job without skipping or shortening on any steps. I like that they use the drill to sand the toe nails instead of filing which I think is a longer part of the pedicure. This is going to be my go to place for now on. I tried to give another shop another try. This shop was nice and clean looking. However I didn't see any sterilization machines and I want to thrilled with the way she quick cleaned the spa pedicure basin. I think she was offended when I asked to clean again. The water was much clearer the second time. My first issue was the fact there was a sign that stated 15 pedicure with spa. I told her four times I want the 15 $ because I get pedicure every two weeks in the summer months. She stayed no callous scrub. So I said fine I'll take that. Now when I get a callous treatment they don't put it on and then have me rinse it off by putting my foot back in the water, that's a waste. The feet reflexology treatment is just basically rubbing in lotion. Where they do that at?? The paint job was on my cuticles and she had a long piece of hair attached to my big toe. So you would think she would be prepared to clean up the mess she made on my skin, hum nope! Just adding an additional layer of polish doesn't rectify anything. Mind you I'm 6 months pregnant and trying to not flip out over everything. Now it's my nails. I have grown out my tips and basically overlay on my own nails with fiberglass. I had a cracked nail, 1. She then attempted to remove more fiberglass and I was like hunni it's only one ok. She shouts out 3$ I say not for no tip, ok 2$ for you and I say no that's standard sweetie. I've been doing this awhile. She was really pissed then. They are old she says and I tell her yes about 7 weeks but I don't have time to soak and start a new set.(trying to shame me isn't going to get you a chance to mess me up). I'm really watching and I just want to finish. I had to remind her about my top coat on my toes and then I had to get the tissues from in between my toes my self. She neglected to clean up the polish on my actual skin on my feet. So when I payed 40$ I requested my 4$ Change please, hunni you gets no tip from me or a return visit! read more

I had to give it one star but really they shouldn't get one at all. My toes look like my 4 year old painted them. She made me bleed, was extremely rough, kept forgetting about a cut I had on my toes and kept rubbing it with the towel. I had to say something multiple times. She cut my toenails all jagged and not straight at all. I'm worried I'm going to get ingrown toenails. I have never been so upset about a pedicure. I was going to get a manicure but After my toes I didnt want to chance it. HORRIBLE JOB. I will never go back or recommend. I should have gone to rocklin like I normally do. This place was probably the only nail salon I've been to that has gotten the nail to actually fit proportionally with my finger! I had Anthony, and he did a really good job. It was also the quickest I've had my nails done. I believe it took about 40 mins or less. My only complaint is that I asked for fiber glass on my nails but I could see that he used a jar that wasn't labeled that -- (there was a jar labeled fiber glass powder right next to the jar he used). At the end, I asked him if he used fiber glass on my nails bc I noticed that he didn't use the jar with the one labeled that, and he said yes and made some excuse that I couldn't quite make out due to a slight accent he had. I went with my cousin and she also got fiber glass from a different worker, her nails actually looked like fiber glass as opposed to mine. In the end, I paid $25 for a full set. read more

pretty sure they use mma (illegal) cause they rather tear up your nails trying to pry the acrylics off instead of just soaking them off and i've soaked off their nails at home and the nails turned gummy so dead giveaway.. they base the quality of their work off how much you spend which is weird and upsetting read more

I went to Crown Nails today 2.22.17 for a fill. I usually get great Service from Moon. She is very friendly and does a great job. today Anthony did my hands and I walked out of there so frustrated, that I decided to call from home. so that I didn't make a seen at the shop. My hands were cut to short to the point you couldn't see the fake nails over my finger. My thumbs were uneven and didn't match each other. When I pointed it out to Anthony he said "it was because of my nail beds." I asked if I could come in on Friday and get them redone at no cost? He said "he would charge me full cost because it was not his fault!!! My family goes to this salon. We will now take our family business some where else. This was just unexpected bad customer service from Anthony. If he had responded differently, I would have been willing to pay half and maybe even tipped. But I am appalled. DO NOT GO HERE. I was visiting Sacramento and needed to get my gel nails removed. The "technician" forcibly removed the gel polish from my nails and it hurt. Then she used an automated buffering tool to remove some of the rest. When some of it didn't come off, she then used acetone. I have white spots on more than half of my nails that I didn't have before. My toe nails that I didn't have done there do not have these spots. basic acrylic nails with NO shellac took over 2 hours. I liked the finished product but two days later a nail came off...I got it fixed. then two days after that ANOTHER nail came off...I got it fixed. another couple days passed and one of my nails tore off while i was fixing my shoe and it was bleeding profusely and then another nail cracked in the middle. I was not doing anything aggressive with my hands at all! My friend who is a nail tech told me they applied the nails wrong. they filed my real nails with the machine (which is wrong) they didnt put any protective coat to my nails (which is wrong). so overall i will not be going back. i have 3 nails on my left hand and 4 nails on my right hand with bandaids on both hands from the break and the crack.....very dissappointed. read more

Worst nail place ever... Please do not waste your time or money. My daughter and I had toes and nails done, paid $100.00 with a $45.00 tip, so a $145.00 I got ripped off for. Not even two days later one of my nails broke so I went back to this shop to get it fixed. The shop was suppose to be open at 9:00 waited 15 minutes no one showed so I decided to go somewhere else. Never EVER get your nails done here!! I just got my nails done 3days ago. Anthony rushed through doing my nails, I had to come back the next day and have him shape them properly around my cuticles and all over. Then, the same nail he worked on cracks when i wake up the next morning while opening my car door. I call to explain what happened and he says he has to charge me $4 for the nail because i mustve hit it hard against something. Completely inappropriate customer service. Not only did he not get my nails done right the first time, he messed them up and now they are too thin and seem to easily break. Im not new to nails or gel nails, this is absurd. I would recommend. You get what you pay for. The people are really nice. All nails grow out but it was really noticeable after having them just a week in about two to three days I will need a fill. I personally like places that ask how I would like my nail shape. After first getting them done my nails were glued to my skin and the didn't even try to fix it just left it that way. I also got a pedicure. I have had better. I still ended up paying over $50 so I would prefer to go elsewhere read more

Horrible service!!! My first and last time there!!! My daughter and I went there. The nail tips they put on both our nails were cricked and they weren't willing to fix them, a manicurist cut one of my daughters fingers causing it to bleed and then sprayed rubbing alcohol on it without her permission. I got a pedicure and the woman who did it was done within 10 minutes and was very rough with me. She only put 1 layer of nail polish on and it started chipping the next day. The towels they used were very dirty also. They argued with us and didn't want to fix the many issues we had. Also my daughter got a french tips that were done very poorly!! They didn't take off all the polish she had on previous so you were able to see red polish on her nails. They looked horrible!! A very bad experience at this nail shop. We will NEVER go again!!!!! I have been going to this nail salon off and on for about 10 years. Last week I came in and had a gel manicure by a young girl named Vicki. She seemed new to the business, barely spoke a word to me, but mind you spoke perfect english. Within 3 days my thumb nail gel polish came right off and my index finger chipped. I came back 6 days later to be reparied, the older gentlemen asked me to come back the next day which I did. Vicki happened to be there and just treated me like I was bothering her, and she didn't seem to happy to repair her nail job. Again never spoke a word to me, except for when I asked her if I was bothering her. I get better treatment at La Belle in Antelope. Last week when I was there, one of the older gentlemen was yelling at a customer, and told her to get out and not come back. Not going back, I go to relax and enjoy my experience. I got my nails done here on New Year's eve and they did a great job so I thought when I came back it would be the same experience but it wasn't I got a pedicure and the girl working barely said anything to me and when she did she spoke so quietly, then she cut my big toe to the point where it was bleeding and didn't say anything about it and I didn't notice until she used some product on it and it stung and then all she did was paint over the blood with the clear coat Also about 3 hours after I had them done and the polish on my toes smudged, how is that possible... and she also trimmed my other big toe nail to be really crooked Then I got a full acrylic set and the man who was doing it got on FaceTime and phone calls about four times while doing my nails he also just seemed so aggressive when he was talking to me at times by yelling at me when I couldn't hear him through his mask and then he had me pay before my nails were even finished So unprofessional! Went in for a simple manicure with gel polish. She did a wonderful however NOT $30.00 worth of wonderful. According to their sign a manicure is $10.00 so I was charged $20.00 for gel polish???? Honestly, I have been here many times and their work is whatever. It has just been going down hill for years. Yesterday I came in to get my nails done and they were not busy at all. Nobody else was in there, so I expected them to take their time. I understand that nail shops get busy and it won't always be the best every time, but I am paying for a service that I expect to be at least decent. The lady I had was nice, but she did a shitty ass job on simple gel nails. I kept informing her that she was not getting my full nail with the gel and if she could please fix it, she just shooed my hand away to grab my other one. I told her several times. Then I asked for little diamonds on my nails and asked if she could make sure they stick. They fell off as soon as I came home. I don't even want them to fix it because it was done so shitty and I don't have time to waste. I will never come back to get my nails done here because this is the last straw.
