I've never stepped food inside this restaurant, but we've ordered from it about 20 times on DoorDash. I am always pleasantly surprised by the value and how good it is! Some favorites for my husband and I - 1. Philly steak and cheese quesadilla (yup, not chicken) - is my go to and love it with a little extra cheese. Also reheats very well in the air fryer. 2. Unfortunately, this didn't meet my expectations, which I'm pretty bummed about because I've been longing to try CFC so I could try to compare to The Colonel! Let's at least start with the good: beef and cheese empanadas. Yes. I'll take 10, please! These beef patties were stuffed with seasoned ground beef and white gold. The pastry puff was flaky and unbelievably delicious. I would order these TONIGHT again. This was originally a two star review...but then I remembered how fantastic these were. Plus they have a wide variety of Fanta and other sodas that others don't carry. Another plus. The mediocre: fries. Dried out. Wedges were flavorful enough, but cold and old. Shoestring fries: old and no flavor, barely any salt, even. The bad: surprisingly, the chicken! Tasted like old oil or like it was made the day before and re-fried for another meal. The meat was dried out and odd-tasting. The mashed potatoes? Holy cow. Definitely didn't think you could mess up pre-made ingredients this badly. It tasted like Elmers Glue. No. Seriously. This is the absolute worst I've ever tasted, hands down. I will post this review with the caveat that this was delivered from DoorDash from 7 miles away. I just bought a 10 piece bucket of chicken, with fries and a philly cheesesteak sub. Both were totally awesome!!

Stopped here on a recent Sunday afternoon for lunch with my little one. Though really more of a take out place, the do have about a half dozen tables inside. There was no line when we walked in so we went straight to the counter to place our order and then grabbed a table for ourselves. Our wait was reasonable, especially since there was only one person working and a steady flow of customers. Later, we would find out there was one other employee, who had been out making deliveries. I had ordered a Steak and cheese Platter. The sandwich was pretty good and had plenty of fries to leave one quite full. My little one ordered a Chicken Strips Platter that turned out to be chicken fies, not chicken fingers. Though it wasn't exactly what she wanted, she did manage to eat most of what was on her plate. The staff was pleasant, the place was clean. It's not a fancy place, but is a good alternative to the usual suspects. Next time I will give the chicken a try and see how it compares to the Colonel. read more

Wonderful fried chicken!! Would give 10 stars! Fast service, even though they were busy. Nice staff. Great chicken, juicy and crispy as well. Not over seasoned either. The chicken was very fresh as well. Loved the cole slaw also. The interior was neat, clean and orderly. These folks really know chicken. Am definitely putting them on my take out rotation. My lovely wife and I were impressed with the delicious meals that we ordered and the fast and efficient service we received.,In these troubled times where restaurants are closing left and right Crown fried chicken is still standing and I can see why. It's because they are serving up great comfort food.For example my lovely wife ordered the # 11 everyday special called the Grilled chicken with rice beans and & soda for 9.99 it comes in a packed Bowl enough to feed two people alone. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich that is the real deal. I also ordered a fish sandwich that was absolutely Awesome! We also ordered fried chicken tenders that was delicious as well. I used to love coming here with my girlfriend until she got food poisoning from their chicken sandwich.

This place could've easily been at least 4 stars for the kind of in and out place it is BUT my buffalo wings were still bleeding. Not all but about 4 were. That pretty much ruined it for me. The buffalo sauce was spicy and tasteful, fries were pretty good and burger was as expected just okay. To my surprise the young guy at the counter was beyond exceptional. Personable, polite, helpful and remembered my extra blue cheese. Kudos for that. So, with that being said sorry but the first thing you learn when working at any restaurant is to always thoroughly check that the food isn't raw especially with chicken! The chicken is actually pretty tasty. If you get delivery you're met with rude unsanitary drivers who are smoking cigarettes when they come to the door. If you pick up your food fresh and the chicken is freshly cooked - to be honestly this place could get 4/5 stars. Also, if you are Muslim or Islam I'm not exactly certain but this food has been prepared properly under the supervision of priests where it is OK to eat and "kosher" for the religion. In the end, I do enjoy a nice trip to Crown Chicken once a month or two. read more

Unfortunately my experience here wasn't very good. It just relates to the food, it was all pretty gross. I've tried it once a few years back then again a few months ago. I had chicken fingers and they were ok- but they were just your basic frozen chicken fingers you heat. The big issue I had were the sides we ordered, Mac and cheese and coleslaw. My fiancée said he couldn't eat the Mac and cheese and was going to throw it out- I said how could mac & cheese be that bad? So I tried it and it wasn't good at all- no flavor and it had a glue texture. If they haven't already switched suppliers of that product they should. It's definitely not homemade. We have gotten this place quite a few times we usually get the box of chicken and fries. The food is very delicious and the fries are seasoned and it makes them so tasty. Going to pick up your food for home or eating in is your best bet as every time we have ordered for delivery it takes a real long time and the fries and crunchy chicken skin are usually soggy. Their desserts are very good as well especially the strawberry cheesecake. Overall it's a decent place for some fried chicken and fries. read more
