Stopped by on a Sunday. Got a roast beef sandwich. With horseradish which was actually a horseradish sauce. Service was quick. The roast beef was cut very thin almost shredded. The sandwich was strangely tasteless except for the wet sauce and the now very wet roll. There is no ambiance here. There are meat freezers in the dining area. Weird. I have had many roast beef sandwiches and this is one slight step above Arby's. Not worth the visit for a roast beef sandwich. Maybe other food is good but it was empty so I have no idea. read more

Hidden gem! One bite of burger bliss and my taste buds instantly transported me back to my Midwestern childhood. Portions are huge-I got a single patty and ate every bite...but with not-so-much room for the golden fries. If a burger could be "pretty" this one is a beauty. The bun was toasted and everything was perfectly portioned...nothing falling into your lap :-) No wait on a weekday at lunch, though other customers came and went while I was here. Friendly staff. It's a nice touch that they sell baklava and other desserts...though being allergic to dairy I didn't try them. Loved that I could get an Arizona Green Tea here. Excellent roast beef and salad. I tried both the roast beef salad and the grilled chicken salad. Both were very large portions. Roast beef was soft tasty. Grilled chicken was perfectly cooked and very tender. I also noticed the chicken finger plate was huge. I'll come back to try more. read more

Big Beef hands down is the best roast beef in the entire area. The price is reasonable and sometimes there are sales. But the roast beef is unbelieveable. They even can put horseradish sauce on it, unlike many other places. As a non-glutton, a Junior Roast Beef is more than enough. Wonderful stuff. read more

Although this place advertises its roast beef the most I actually think they have the best Greek gyro on pita I've had in a very long time. I go out of my way to drive there thirty minutes just to eat the gyro. The pita is fluffy yet toasted Stuffed with seared gyro meat, seasoned perfectly Fresh fried fries Tomato, onion and tzatziki It's a very generously sized gyro that I share with my wife. Friendly owner and the quality has been consistently good over about seven visits spanning a few months. I wish it was closer but it's just about the right distance that keeps me from buying a vertical rotisserie! This gyro is not a shawarma, nor a wrap. It's a Greek gyro on pita! I love the roast beef from this place. I have been getting Roast beef subs and sandwiches since the place opened. The roast beef is delicious and always super fresh ! The owner is very nice and polite. I highly recommend as we have enjoyed the chicken tenders as well. They are delicious cooked in a light batter with a choice of several sauces. I can't believe I hadn't tried this place before now. Everything we got was delicious!! We will definitely be back. We tried the supreme roast beef with just mayo on it. The roast beef was rare & sliced very thin, it just melted in your mouth. The cheese sticks , the breading is very light but crisp. Not like your typical pizza places. And, the sauce, I'm guessing it's homemade because it's just so good. The buffalo chicken wings, my picky eater son ate these & said he'd like to have them again. This place has changed hands a couple of times. Newly reopened, I had high hopes. Unfortunately, it was a letdown, across both visits I made for takeout. The roast beef was tender and the grilled bun a nice touch, but the beef was pretty dry. It was also rather bland, had no seasoning. For a place that specializes in roast beef, it should be awesome, not ho-hum. The pizza was disappointing. Tasted like a frozen premade crust and rubbery cheese. The boneless wings were, on the first visit, drowning in a pool of thin sauce. I got the sauce on the side the 2nd time, which was an improvement. The wings themselves were decent. My husband and I moved here from Boston, where we had our fair share of great sandwich spots, and this by far surpasses anything we've tried in the City. A bold statement, but honestly for a sandwich shop this place is quality and the sizes are generous. I can't get enough of their chicken salad sandwich - which is made in house. We've also had their chicken stir fry wrap, Italian sub, steak bomb, and roast beef sandwich and the quality has been consistent across the board. Roast Beast Sandwich with Fries and a Soda e. Steak Bomb with the works But the Owner is down to earth and will do whatever he can to make your experience wonderful. The beef was perfectly lean & tender sliced super thin & piled on a soft fresh onion roll. I had the horseradish sauce & sliced onion & my husband got the bbq sauce. Both mouthwateringly delicious! My son got the boneless chicken tenders & they were juicy & tasty. I'm also a bit picky about my onion rings & these were to die for!
