Jersey mikes in Franklin is a good spot for a sandwich. Their service and quality of the sandwiches have gone up since they first opened this location. I gave them a bad review in the past but they've turned things around and I've changed my opinion. I usually just grab my food to go but they have plenty of seating and a few TVs. The one downside would be picking up orders to-go can be slow when they're busy and they can't stop what they're doing to ask you your name. read more

The best cheese steak sandwich since I left NJ where I grew up! We had several near my most recent home in Kansas. When I moved to the Blackstone Valley 3 years ago, I was in despair until I found 2 in Franklin and Shrewsbury! They even have gluten free sub rolls for my husband who has Celiac disease so we both are in heaven! The only thing that they are missing is a pizza offering which the store in Kansas had. The pizza they offered was very good and since I haven't found a decent pizza or Chinese restaurant in my area, I am still disappointed in restaurants in my area. Very solid operation. Short menu, but they do everything on it very well. Nothing off the chart spectacular, but a good solid fresh bread sub, with good quality ingredients, done right (they repeat the order back to you to make sure they got everything right). Went to Jersey Mike's Just opened in Franklin thought i give it a shot. I ordered a Large pastrami with Swiss, grilled onions and mustard. I was shocked to hear 16 dollars is your total oh i got a bag of chips with that. I looked at the sub it was a good size but not 16 dollars size lots of roll no onions to speak of mustard was just drizzled on for such a large sub. it did have pastrami in it and Swiss but at 16 no wear near enough. Katz deli sell a pastrami sandwich for 21 that feed you for days and that is in NY city. 16 is too high for Franklin for what i got I could have gone to long horn and gotten a steak for the same price. read more

I got a giant steak sandwich. The steak was was good and the vegetables were also good. I got it on the rosemary bread. I ordered online and it was ready on time. The problem is it was very expensive. For the giant (which I figured would be two meals but was a normal large around here) was 21 with a tip. I understand it's new, inflation, and we are dealing with a labor shortage so they get some leeway there. Even with the leeway it was too expensive. In the greater Boston area there are too many great selections that are at least 25% cheaper. read more

Middle of the road sandwich. I ordered with everything but hot peppers and the response was "so Mike's way plus pickles". First visit and don't really care what Mike's way is. I just want my sandwich. For about 3 bucks less they would have been 4 stars. If you are charging a premium the sandwich should reflect that. Not impressed and would not return. I wouldn't avoid them either. If it was the only thing I open I would eat here again. Just not willing to spend the extra money because they have a theme going. Jersey Mike's was my favorite growing up in the Midwest so I was super excited when I saw one open up not too far away. I had lunch with my children at this location and it was just as good as I remember! All meat and cheese is sliced fresh to order, the bread was soft and fresh, all the topping also were fresh and delicious. The staff was a well oiled machine, everyone doing their job, working together, keeping busy after the lunch rush. Everyone was super friendly and the place was immaculate!! I usually get food to go in fast food places because the dine in area can be kind of gross but we ended up staying to eat there because it was so clean and comfortable. Gluten free sub rolls?!?! I was blown away by how careful the staff was to avoid cross contamination when they made my sandwich. Having celiac disease, there are very few options for quick meals, so this is super exciting. Meats are sliced right there in the shop and everything tasted nice and fresh. This location just opened and I think they're doing great!!! I've been 3 times already! They released thousands of coupons all over town, for this GREAT deal, so it's no wonder they're slammin during rush hours. Today though, I ordered a number 26 regular (chicken bacon ranch). When I went to go eat it, I noticed it was missing the veggies I was hoping for. Now, I know it still had the good stuff (bacon, chicken, cheese) but for me it wasn't complete without the lettuce and tomatoes; I also couldn't taste the ranch :( I briefly thought about going back in and saying something, but they were SO CRAZY I didn't want to be THAT customer. My other 2 sandwiches I've gotten this week were DELICIOUS! I'm just bummed that they were so crazy tonight that they forgot some ingredients on my sub. I'm hoping it was just an honest mistake though, and not a mixup with someone else's order. Since I noticed the #26 seemed to be a hot ticket item while I was there in just a 30 min time frame. I have bought additional things at times after coupon brings me in. 3-star means dont know enough items to give complete review. Only tried meatball & Italian. Meatball ok not memorable. This is a favorable review of one classic style of sandwich, the "Italian sub". Original Italian excellent. Some Italian subs really stink with onions fermenting in salad dressing. So I ask to have no onion. And their recipe already leaves out once-customary mortadella, which I find too fatty, & uses various other types of meats, good variety; capacola, ham, pepperoni, prosciutto, salami. Provolone cheese, too. All cold cuts are bad for you. It is a guilty pleasure. If you want to treat yourself to cold cuts sometimes, you want the BEST of what's bad for you. Their meats are very good quality. The little salad on top is key. Has to have oregano; enough to taste it. They succeeded in that. Whatever they know or not, they know the oregano is vital. I shall go back & pay a premium as the coupon was designed to make me do.- yes as other reviewers say, price higher than avg neighborhood price - I am interested in trying many more sandwiches; turkey, tuna, cheese steak next. I think they should be good because most of the other sub shops are busy making pizza, too. So this should be Dedicated to sandwiches. I have been to this jersey mikes 3 times since they opened this location a few months ago. The first two trips I ordered the #42 with everything and received my sandwich with nothing but chicken, cheese and chipotle mayo. Today, I decided to change things up a bit and order the #43. All of my orders have been online and they're usually on time but today I arrived right at my scheduled pick up time and had to wait for my order. When I walked to the register I could see that they were busy so I waited for the cashier to finish with their customer and then ask about my order. When the cashier finished with the customer she just kept serving customers in line instead of the line of order ahead people who already ordered and paid and are just waiting for their food. The whole system is counterintuitive. Just put out orders like every other restaurant on planet earth so people can get in and out of your store. After all the waiting I was finally greeted and asked what the name on the order was. When I told her my name, she responded that my order wasn't ready yet. At this point it is already 5 minutes past the pick up time and I had to wait almost another 10 minutes for my sandwich. Even though this store is right around the corner from where I live I am done wasting my money on food that isn't worth it. Chipotle, firehouse, subway, Panera bread and five guys are all in this same area and function properly as "fast food" options. read more
