The only thing that's making this a 4-star review and not a 5-star review is the parking situation. You have to park off-site, and depending on where you park, you may need to pay a parking meter. There are lots that have free parking, but they're a few blocks away. If you don't mind walking for the free parking, like me, then it's great. If you do mind walking for the free parking, then I would suggest going to another Gentle Dental location. I almost forgot, they have a new patient deal, which is great! I have no insurance now, and they have a deal where, if you're a new patient, you only pay $57 for your first procedure. This includes exams, X-rays, and cleanings! Go to the website to find out more and print out a coupon!

Incredible team well...more like my second home / family now!…read more My whole life I've had so many dental problems and have had major anxiety around going and getting work done because I was never solving issues just doing enough to band aid them. My fiancé recommended to come in because he was so HAPPY with his experience as well so I gave it a shot! I am so so so glad I did! Truly life changing for me. Every single visit became a fun experience that I was actually excited to comeback for. Walking in I didn't know what to expect my first time but being met with Maria Silva and Krystin Estabrooks at the front desk with their friendly smiles put me right at ease. Their positive, encouraging, and welcoming attitude made me feel right at home and ready to start my journey. I knew right away that this was going to be my place! I was able to create a bond with them because of how much they truly cared about my progress and called to check in on me throughout the whole process and helped me along during every step of my lengthy journey to my new smile! Meeting Dr. Eric Anthony was like a breath of fresh air and his sense of humor and incredible knowledge of his craft gave me the confidence to no longer fear the dentist. Boy does he know his stuff!!! I am SO impressed and still in awe of how personable and truly caring he is. He is someone you want in your corner! His incredible attention to detail is remarkable and he guided me through all of my issues every step of the way and fixed them all with the right decisions and leading the process flawlessly I could write so so much more but I don't think there's enough room to write it all! Going in for a tooth to be pulled and gum work, I was very nervous but Dr. Jose Oscar Colon and his team stood by me and made me feel very comfortable and calm during the entire process. And for that I am so thankful. Still imagining myself on that beach lol! Long appointments turned into simply hanging out with your closest friends because of Charlene Rivera as well! She makes you feel right at home with her fun-loving personality and extensive knowledge. I couldn't recommend this team enough!! Genuinely, thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart. The amount of time, hours and months, I spent with you all, I am so happy to have finished this lengthy process but I must say, I am a bit sad that I won't be in seeing you all as often anymore lol! Only cleanings now! You all changed my life and for that I can't thank you all enough! You all have been top notch and if I could give a million stars I would. I cried happy tears just writing this so I hope this helps everyone understand how amazing this team is! From the front to the back five million stars all around

I was referred to an oral surgeon they work with regularly and Dr. Keith showed up to my surgery... because he knew I was nervous! Are you kidding me?! The office staff are just as great! Clearly, I needed to find another dental clinic to continue work on my nasty pie-hole (I'm kidding, guys. My mouth's not that gross). Anyways, I happen by this place via Yelp search, naturally. And let me say...they did not disappoint. This clinic is a smaller one, which I like. Of the two times I've been here so far, it really hasn't been all that packed. While there may be some adjustments needed for their booking procedures (Seriously, I had to get rescheduled 4 times before locking in a solid time. What even IS that?!), they are very quick to check you in once you're locked in for a time. The office is very clean and COVID compliant. For the time being, you still need a mask to enter the building. The reception desk has its plastic shields in place, hand sanitizer, and so forth. But now...the real question that's probably on your mind. How gentle or rough are the dental hygienists? Take this with a grain of salt, as I am a patient whom requires more frequent cleanings as opposed to someone who does NOT have periodontal issues. The cleaning was (much to my surprise) completely painless. Yeah! It probably has to do with the fact that this was just periodontal maintenance rather than a deep cleaning, which I assumed was going to be the case. What that consists of is basically just them taking off the hard stuff more frequently than usual. A "normal" patient only needs a cleaning about every 6 months or so. I go twice as often. So, considering how painless this was, I don't think I'll mind the new schedule as much as I otherwise assumed. Pricing is fair enough. But as I tell everyone, check with the office to verify if they accept your insurance policy first. They're easy to find, located just off of the turnpike. Oh, forgot to mention...I met the head dentist of which this place is rightfully named after. The guy seems pretty chill and very knowledgeable in his craft, but definitely not in a pompous sort of way. That's always a plus for me; when dentists and their hygienists are non-judgmental towards their patients. With all that said, I think we got a keeper here, fellas! Expensive, but good. -…read moreSo, it's been a few years since I went to a Dentist. My old dentist retired. I loved that guy. Last time I went, it was a few years ago, and he said my teeth were good. I only had the one cavity, which he had taken care of years before, and it was doing well. Fast-forward to today, when I decide to go to one because it's been awhile. Come to find out, I need a crown on that old tooth with the cavity, as well as several other teeth with small cavities. That put me in a panic; I don't have many redeeming qualities but good teeth was one. I even had an orthodontist spend time looking at my teeth because, as he said "No one has teeth like this anymore - they're in such good shape!". Probably the only real compliment I've ever been given! - Crowns, fillings, scrapings. I didn't want to do it. But I figured, let's get this done. I'm not getting any younger. - My first visit was impressive, and completely covered by insurance. It's like star trek these days at the dentist; instant x-rays, high-def close-up photos (scary!). My second visit was to get like half of my mouth scraped, or whatever. I think it was to get at tartar below the gumline. And to have that crown put on. Now, I was terrified of the needle(s). Last time I had that done, was when I was a kid to have a tooth pulled. Sort of scared me for life. But, I will say they do a good job here. They numb you up with lidocane gel on your gums. And yes, the needles sucked but - not as bad as I made it out to be in my head. And the doctor was excellent - excellent needle work - I notice that in doctor offices. I had to keep getting shot up with Novocaine because I could feel what they were doing. They check in with you a lot, which is nice. - I have to go back to have the other half scraped, and the permanent crown put on. I have two criticisms; 1) I was shocked at my bill for the second (and third) visit. They tell you that you need work done, but it's not like there are options. It's just "we need to do this" and them boom, you're out $600. Going to the dentist is like having work done on your car; you aren't quite sure what you need, and you can't do it yourself, so you have to trust them. My teeth do feel good, and their crown work was great. 2) They don't tell you everything they're doing in your mouth. They don't say "I need to stick you with this needle 4 times", they just do it. They don't tell you they are scraping your teeth with this crazy drill and it will take 10 minutes. It's not painful, just super uncomfortable. I learned my lesson, though, and will be more diligent about taking care of my teeth!

I'm a new patient with Dr. Hamdan and feel a mixture of luck and relief to have discovered her. I usually get a little nervous before I go to the dentist, but, apparently, those days are over. Joanne on the front desk is as good as it gets and Dr. Hamden is a little wizard when it comes to treatment. Who knows ? I may have just been lucky on my first visit, but I'll definitely be going back to find out. From my research, the charges were very standard for a highly experienced dentist.
