Then, I happened upon Walgreens! I was delighted to find regular Walgreens prices right on Coronado, where I expected a cold bottle of water to be $5 or more. I ended up getting two large bottles for $3 using a Walgreens deal. I just used some W Cash Rewards that had been saved for quite some time, and now, when checking out, I have to start earning my W Cash Rewards from scratch again. I enjoy the occasional visit to Walgreens, where I typically see it as a good excuse to stock up on paper goods, such as Kleenex or facial tissues, which I often run out of at home. I found multiple options for brands, box sizes, ply count, and whether they were soft or had lotion on them. I do enjoy just walking around the store as you never know what you will find. While walking around this time, I noted that this store regularly keeps the aisles looking good and the items in stock, though I also saw employees restocking items and changing price tags in various aisles. When I was checking out, there was one person ahead of me, but the line moved quickly, and once I entered my phone number for my rewards program, my transaction went through quickly, too. The W Cash Rewards program is free to sign up for and easy to use. You earn back 1% in Walgreens Cash rewards storewide, even at the pharmacy, and 5% in rewards on Walgreens branded products. There are also sales prices automatically unlocked and other savings coupons, where you can earn reward dollars by making a purchase after selecting a given coupon. Sometimes the coupons are on a receipt from your most recent purchase. You can also find other coupons on the app or the website (or in a booklet or ad when you arrive at the store). While I do not frequent Walgreens as often as other drug stores, I often wonder why, when I happen to visit a Walgreens store, as it's so easy to shop there, and my experiences are often very pleasant. Though on Coronado, I would consider my visit to Walgreens to be a big success!!

The store is smaller than most Rite Aid's and the parking is a bit of an annoyance, but for the most part this was a well stocked, kindly staffed and clean Rite Aid location. My friends dropped me off at the front and circled the block, by the time they made the circle I was able to locate, pickup, pay and get back curbside. Headed over to the deli to see if they could make me a new one but immediately turned around because their workers were just chitchatting with each other and there was already a long line of people waiting on their order. Unfortunately on both of my visits here I did not find what I needed and had to venture elsewhere to get those items. At one time or another, I've been shopping when theft had occurred and while they've tried security, it didnt seem to help with theft. They now have the expensive items or easy-to-steal or mostly stolen items locked-up. Which is great for the business, but not so much for loyal customers when you want to grab, pay and go. Today I didnt mind as there was time to get my items. I shop here occasionally as I am an ExtraCard member and get free shipping for items, I typically opt to use that benefit. They offer this for $5 a month plus you recieve $10 in extracareBucks each month! Its a win-win. In any event, I've never had a bad experience. Employees are always nice, I have not utilized the pharmacy in a few years since switching insurances but did notice that they are closed for lunch, so be mindful. Photo is quick, while some items/photo may be out of stock during promotional time, they are good about informing you. If you are coming at the end of the week, be mindful that couponers may have cleared some of the items you came shopping for! I have used ordering online and pickup in store at this location as well, and never had an issue. Since the last time I came shopping, things have been moved around. So glad they are still here and you can still find some amazing deals especially with the manufacturer coupons, CVS personalized coupons and the cash back "extraBucks" - it has definitely changed how couponing was pre-covid but still better than paying full price when compared to the inflation of everything nowadays!
