Crossfit Yellow Falcon - Boot Camps Near Me - Miami, Florida

Nice box in wynwood. Trainers are really nice and welcoming, they introduce you to the staff if you are new to their gym. The facility is well maintained and spacious. Equipment is in good condition and well organized. They do their crossfit and bootcamp classes at the same time so you can choose which one suits you best. They have their own parking and there is also plenty of parking available on the street. Bathroom was clean and well kept (didn't see showers so not sure if they have them) The owners are usually there so it is easy to ask questions and provide feedback. They don't have a front desk/checking area but a trainer welcomes you right away since they seem to know everyone's names. This is the place to go if crossfit is your thing! read more

Tried this box while using the class pass app. I was part of the Sunday's bootcamp class. They also have a Crossfit class at the same time. The warm up is done at the same time but afterwards, each class do the wood assigned to their group. I gotta say y felt welcomed and motivated throughout the whole class. Crossfit gyms can feel intimidating for some people, specially newbies. At this Crossfit it didn't feel that way. The 2 coaches and the class were very friendly. I am looking forward to take more of their classes. read more

I always look forward to another day of Crossfit here. Keep up the good work, Coaches! read more

I've trained with Rene for about six months before he opened Crossfit Yellow Falcon. He is definitely a great asset for this box. He's a great motivator and believe me, he spots your weaknesses real fast. He has an all around passion for fitness that's infectious and it's great to see CYF take off with him. You'll get a lot for your time spent at CYF. Rene and the other trainers are there to make sure you exercise safely and progress day to day. They're also knowledgeable with lots of information for you on diet, Paleo lifestyle etc., everything you need to get into and maintain the shape that you want. My wife and I plan to be regulars here for a long time. It really doesn't get any better than this. The box itself is close to my home, convenient for my wife and myself. The place is clean and spacious. The kid's area is nice to see, but unfortunately our kids are a little too young to take good advantage of it. If your kids are perhaps 5+ and can sit still enough to watch cartoons on TV or something, then you'll have no problems, but we still need to make arrangements. read more

To me, Crossfit Yellow Falcon is a like a second home. Is the right place with the right people ready for everyone to go daily and have a blast! There are no words to express the fullness feeling I experience every day I'm there, practicing my superior planned routines by Head Coach Rene Viera with the support of his beautiful, intelligent and sweet lady Coach Claudia Estrada. In a year I've improved so much and the staff has helped me way too much to accomplish every goal. I highly recommend this Box to everybody who wants to give Crossfit a try. It's the best BOX in Town!!! read more

Awesome place to workout! My husband and I are in love now with crossfit! I'm currently 24 weeks pregnant with my third baby boy and it's the FIRST TIME DOING THIS EXERCISE WHILE PREGNANT. But before getting surprisingly pregnant I started for the first time doing crossfit for around 5-6 months and not everyday either. But I would NOT change for anything this place and specially our dedicate, loving, careful even though he's man but tough enough trainer Rene for any person to motivate and help you through all the process. For all of those who is out there wondering should I go or not, just go and meet this awesome crew! I've never seen such a nice and complimented trainers like these are! And believe me I've been in to many gyms, none compared to this one. Not to mention that is clean and believe me when I say it's clean! I love every piece of it! read more

Crossfit Yellow Falcon - Me working out! I wasn't lying when i said i was pregnant! - Boot Camps Near Me - Miami, Florida

One of the best gyms in Miami hands down! The owners are wonderful people who are super hands on. Coach Emily is a beast and very helpful in all aspects of training. The general vibe is loving and welcoming and everyone motivating each other to reach their goals. Highly recommend! read more

I have to start off by saying that I'm not one to typically leave Yelp reviews. However, I had to make an exception in order to express just how much I enjoyed my experience at Crossfit Yellow Falcon. I attended my first class without having any prior experience with Crossfit or weightlifting in general. The coaches at Yellow Falcon were not only welcoming, but extremely helpful in teaching me the correct form so as to prevent injuries. I had always been hesitant about trying Crossfit due to the fear of injuring myself, but I immediately felt as if I was in good hands after my first class. One of my favorite things about Yellow Falcon is that it is open to EVERYONE: all ages, sizes, etc. There is not a "cookie cutter mold" for the kind of person you would find working out there. In no time at all, I was looking forward to working out each day because I knew I was going to be working out with friends and that I would enjoy myself. I can easily say my favorite part were the coaches. I would jokingly refer to Claudia as my mom and Renee could always make me laugh (I had fantastic experiences with the other coaches as well; those were just a couple of examples). At the end of the day, I didn't feel like I was just a customer/member at Crossfit Yellow Falcon. I felt like I was part of a family. If you are curious about starting Crossfit for the first time or if you're already a Crossfit superstar and you're looking to join a new box, I strongly encourage you to give Yellow Falcon a try. read more

As a health and fitness professional for the last 20 years in many capacities, I recommend XF Yellow Falcon. The coach I had was very good at making sure I was safe and in doing optimal exercise for my time and energy invested. He even took my music request! I felt safe, motivated beyond what I would get myself to do, and yet not pushed so far that it became unpleasant. Clean facility; good cool water from water fountains. Park across the street in the gravel. read more

Worked out with Rene (one of the instructors) today in a 10am class. Didn't know what to expect because I came on a ClassPass, having been to very few Crossfit type gyms in the past. I'm not a hard core fitness buff, plus I'm 45, so wasn't sure it was for me, but I was wrong. Rene was gracious and modified some of the exercises for me, and surprisingly increased weight on other sets where he felt I could be pushed harder. It was not the jump over tires kinda Crossfit place, it was a much more tailored experience and I felt no pressure or intimidation. Class was small so Rene could give attention to all of our technique and form- which I gather is the key to building muscle and not injuring one's self. Space is HUGE and beautiful (for a Crossfit gym), parking free and super easy- a ton of spaces. They even have a kids area that's adorable, bathrooms with showers, and a juice & coffee bar. Much more of a welcoming and stay kinda place than I expected. With yelp they give promos, so I'd definitely suggest trying it, particularly if you're like me and need to build muscle but won't do strength training on your own. read more

I gotta admit. When I first came to this gym I was very apprehensive. I had just left my beloved CrossFit gym because of a change of jobs and I felt like I needed to get back in the game but I was fearful they wouldn't be the same. On my first day I was greeted by every single coach whether they were teaching or not. I was walked through how they work, explain classes, etc. The coaches are thorough, knowledgeable, and always alert of everyone in the class and throughout the actual class they have 3 coaches (or more) with a close eye on everything making sure you are doing the movements correctly and with the correct form. This gym has fast become a favorite. The sense of community is amazing. The people who go there too. Everyone is nice, everyone is willing and happy to spot you, to give you a tip, to give you a high five. People are used to CrossFit gyms being a little intimidating, the people being "clicky", etc - not here. Everyone is helpful & very down to earth. Amazing gym. read more

100% recommended! #CrossfitYellowFalcon is way more than just a workout box. This place made me fall in love with this sport...Every day I receive the individualized attention I am expecting as a "new crossfitter". Very nice and passionate people. Special mention to the coaches Rene, Claudia and Joseph. Thank you guys for pushing me to my limits! read more

Hands down the best Box in Miami and all because of the staff. The level of professionalism, knowledge and preparation of the coaches paired with their energy and friendliness is outstanding. If you're looking for a spot to get in shape by being pushed to be the best version of yourself this is the spot. The sentiment of camaraderie that the coaches create is something that I guarantee you won't find anywhere else. Cheers and happy WOD. read more

I went with a group of friends to try a free class this week, and I was happily surprised with the gym and the coach. Although we got there a little late Rene (one of the instructors) was very nice and very helpful. The class was full but that didn't stop Rene to take his time and explain every exercise to us. He was very patient and understanding. I will definitely will be back! read more

We've tried every gym in Miami and this is by the best. Rene, the owner, is a fantastic coach, keeps a very organized gym and is very friendly and makes your time there very enjoyable. The supporting coaches are awesome as well; Claudia, Nacho, Tony and Frank! The environment is very friendly and welcoming to all shapes and sizes, opposed to other Crossfit gyms that are super intense and require an Olympic background. But at the same time they keep it very competitive to those that are seeking it. Don't wait to come check it out, they have the first class free and a great deal on the first two months! read more

Just dropped in at Yellow Falcon and am incredibly happy with my experience there. Rene, the head coach, is incredibly knowledgeable and pays close attention to technique and form. They have recently opened and membership is still growing providing lots of undivided attention and all new equipment. Its such a treat! The space is large with an extra space for oly lifting and supplemental work. Helps to really get people out of the class' way. They even set up a "kid's zone" for all those parents who want to train and don't have a babysitter. It truly is a great set up and to top it off, free parking. Oh and did I mention SPACE?!?! Can't take that for granted. Space is hard to come by in the Wynwood, downtown area. I can see the potential for huge improvement here both for the box and all the members who join. I know I'll be back. Looking forward to spoiling myself in a fresh, new, welcoming box with pristine equipment and programming to make you better each and every day! Thanks for welcoming me with open arms, Yellow Falcon! read more

I've been going to this gym for four years and there's a reason that I still hate to miss a class. The sense of family and the warm welcome from the owners (Coach Claudia and Coach Rene) makes this a place good for anyone of any fitness level. Coach Emily, who is also a physical therapists is a great new addition that takes care of any mobility or recovery issues you may have, and is a great morning coach for those groggy mornings when you don't feel motivated. I freakin love it here. It's like a 2nd home. read more

I'm so happy I found this box! I tried many crossfit boxes around the area after I moved but none of them made me feel so welcome like Crossfit yellow Falcon did. The facility is always clean, organized and the equipment is in excellent conditions. The coaches are very nice and knowledgeable. At this box you are not just a member who workout everyday, you are part of the falcon family. I'm so happy to called this box my second home because it really feels like it. Having been in the crossfit world for about 12 years I can tell you that Yellow Falcon is everything you want a box to be. Talented and motivated coaching staff. The owners are always available to address the athletes. Facility is always clean and has all the gear and equipment you want. Members are all happy and welcoming. Arguably the best crossfit box in Miami!! 5 stars!!!! read more

I started at this box after leaving my home box in Hialeah. I tried a couple of boxes in the area and nothing seemed to fit me. As soon as I walked into CrossFit Yellow Falcon they welcomed me with open arms. During the first class they introduced me to the other members by doing this "three clap" thing to welcome me. That was the moment I knew this box was for me. I guess it was because they instantly made me feel like I was a part of it. The coaches care to adjust you and help you even if you've been there for a while. They don't get complacent, which happens often in boxes. Also, coach Claudia ,one of the owners, is thee sweetest. She's so warm and really makes us all feel like a family. And her husband coach Rene really knows his stuff and is motivating during the workouts. Basically they win. read more

The first rule of crossfit is to always talk about crossfit. After years at a gym doing my own workouts and cardio, I decided to join the cult of crossfit. Researching around I just couldn't decide which cult I wanted to be a part of, long behold I came across CYF and instantly the kool-aid I was given I was hooked. My leaders aka coaches I followed their every move, this cult is one I want to be a part of! All jokes aside, crossfit may sound intimidating and perhaps some "boxes" aka gyms are not so inviting but here three claps and you're part of the gang. Not once did I feel intimated or out of place. I felt welcomed and was taught the basics for two days and begun my WODs. Drops in are welcomed and greeted with a friendly smile. The coaches are fantastic, funny and extremely helpful. The couple that own the gym are #relationshipgoals worthy. The people aka athletes at the gym are sooo friendly as well. I wish I could keep up with everyone's names. The age group varies so don't let that stop you and once you get the hang of it there's no pressure to me Bruno the I'll pump you up guy. You're sore or hurt go less hard, you wanna push your limit, everyone is there to support you. Couple months in I truly do love one of my favorite parts of the day. I call this place my happy place even though I may whine and kick and scream as I do my burpees, anything but that coach anything but burpees! read more

Their exercise programs are challenging, will keep you working and get your strength up. Coaches are awesome. Very helpful with everything. They ensure your technique is up to standard, and they're very motivational. They get to know the people they're coaching and you're not just a paycheck. The facility is a good size. All the equipment is Rogue and in good condition. They disinfect the entire facility weekly. Plenty of parking is available at their lot and on the street for the busy hours which is an advantage considering other gyms in the area. You'd benefit from giving them a try. read more
