While on a trip to Morrissey in Hollywood, FL, we decided to take a short hop down to Miami for The…read moreBeto Experience. What started as a casual visit quickly turned into something special. Who knew Morrissey + Beto would be such a perfect combo? We originally planned just to check out the space, but it turned out Beto himself was leading the Zumba session Saturday morning. With our flight out of Ft. Lauderdale not until 3pm, the timing was perfect. We booked the session, spent Friday afternoon soaking up South Beach, and went into Saturday ready to move. Saturday morning became much more than just a workout. As one staff member put it, this was "more than the Beto experience" it was a Zumba Lift promo shoot, and the energy was unreal. Why City Zero Works--Especially If You're Traveling * 25 minutes or less from Ft. Lauderdale, Hollywood, or surrounding areas * 10-15 minutes from Downtown Miami * Parking available across the street or along nearby roads * Parking runs about $8-$12 for 2-3 hours, with discounts available through City Zero memberships Forgot your workout gear? No problem. City Zero has you covered with Zumba and City Zero apparel on-site great prices, solid quality, and even some surprise deals. I walked away with a City Zero hoodie and workout shorts, and they're now staples in my workout rotation. The Zumba Lift Experience Zumba Lift is an incredible blend of strength, rhythm, and energy. Whether you're: * New to Zumba * Zumba-curious but on the fence * Or looking for a fresh, structured fitness reset This format might be exactly what you need to build a healthier, more productive fitness routine. High energy, top-tier instruction, and a welcoming vibe that makes you want to come back. I think will visit again soon! Texas Mozzer! Special, shout to the staff: Nate, Miss Nancy, Liana, Jenny, sales staff for City Gear, and last but not least Beto Perez!

You can also park on the street and if you are a member I believe you can use the Parkwhiz app to get 2 hours free parking , $2 per additional hour. The first floor is dedicated for classes including Zumba, strong nation, yoga, and strength classes. They have a really nice stage with lights and a special spot for a live drummer. There is space to store belongings on the side and back of the room. A smoothie bar for snacks and quick meals is also located on the first floor. All the equipment can be found on the second and third floors, all machines are new and in great condition. Fit Avenue is located on the last floor, this is a separate gym for heart rate - based HIIT workouts with treadmills, row machines and weights. They use heart monitors to track your progress. They offer a kidzone to take care of your children while you work out ($5 a day or $60 membership) and they also sell Zumba wear next to the front desk. I've been to several Zumba and strong nation classes and all instructors have been really good including Fit Avenue where it feels almost like personal training, coaches pay attention to form and explain monitor stats. Highly recommend trying this gym!

I've been here a number of times for the Friday and Saturday morning workout classes with Lawrence,…read moreusing ClassPass. (It costs very few credits, which is always great!) I know that no matter when I go, Lawrence always leads a challenging and well rounded workout. With class names like "HIIT 2.0" and "Strong AF", you know you'll enter a tough and rewarding experience. The gym itself is huge, with plenty of weight machines, treadmill and bikes. You do need to wear a mask to enter, and you used to have to keep it on the entire time you were there during the height of the COVID pandemic, but I noticed during my most recent visit this morning that some people had their masks off while exercising and walking between machines and areas. There's a room next to the general weight room for turf like training, and another room in the back of the gym where the group workouts take place. When I went this morning, I saw they had remodeled the space to create one for a separate boxing gym. Outside of the clear gate they set up for the boxing gym, they have rowing machines, treadmills, boxes and a rig set up for regular use (and in our case, grotto workout use). The classes incorporate a lot of CrossFit exercises and structuring, but there are no barbells involved to grunt lift. Think dumbbells for chest flys and bicep curls, kettlebells for snatches and swings, rowers for cardio, boxes for, well, box jumps and pull-up steps and medicine balls for wall balls (which I have a love hate relationship with). If you have CrossFit experience, great, and if you don't, not to worry, because Lawrence goes over and demonstrated all of the movements involved in each round. The group workouts have been very small so that we can space out, used our own equipment and get good attention and correction on form from Lawrence. He does a great job of holding everyone accountable and pushing everyone to do their best exercises with good form and speed. The workout is pretty much over 45 minutes long, so the cool down is typically brief. I recommend you take some time afterwards to do some extra stretching, because it's highly likely that you'll feel the soreness within the same day. There are only 1-2 paper towel and cleaner bottle stations, so I ended up walking to the weight room and back to get a paper towel with cleaner fluid to wipe down my mat and the other equipment I used. This gym is always popular when I go, so I hope people are being reminded to clean their equipment, since we weren't after our workout. But bring your own towel and water bottle, and find a lot of hard exercising people and motivation to get that workout done!

He was very informative and very professional and the gym was huge because it's a warehouse that includes a boxing ring, all types of machines, squatting and deadlifting equipment, cardio machines, and everything you need for bodybuilding and powerlifting!
