Tyler is an amazing coach! Tyler has a great balance of encouragement and accountability. Always patient, motivating, and really knows how to explain things in a way that clicks. I've seen so much progress thanks to their guidance, and I actually look forward to each session. Couldn't ask for a better coach -- highly recommend! read more

It's been about 3 years since I had to stop going to CFM due to relocation and family additions, but my husband and I miss it incredibly! Every class is a community, the coaches are very uplifting and inclusive regardless of one's fitness goals and journey. We realized what we're capable of when we push ourselves! We love you all the coaches - Jen, Austin, Balaji and all others! read more

I did a couple drop-ins in the area, and l loved Crossfit Milpitas. I was worried about an injury and the coach immediately planned for alternative workouts I can do. Plus, the energy coach Vito brings in is better than a morning coffee - thanks CF Milpitas! read more

After my first CrossFit gym closed, finding a new box that felt like home was tougher than I expected. It wasn't until my fourth try that I found CrossFit Milpitas, and everything just clicked. The coaches here are top-notch knowledgeable, encouraging, and always paying attention to form and safety. But what really makes this place stand out is the community. The energy, support, and camaraderie remind me of that classic, old-school CrossFit vibe that's hard to find these days. Whether you're brand new or a seasoned athlete, this place welcomes everyone and brings the best out of you. read more

I am just so glad I decided to take the plunge and join Crossfit about 6 months ago. I had been doing Bodypump classes at 24 hour fitness, but I realized it was getting more and more crowded, and unless you got in 30-40 minutes earlier, it was hard to find the weights and equipment, so I was on the lookout for a new gym and came across this. Having never done Crossfit before, I hesitantly signed up for a consult with Coach Austin, who is the owner of this place as well. He made me feel so welcome and allayed my fears. And it's been 6 months since then - I am literally overwhelmed with the kind, friendly and professional attitude of these coaches. Each of them go out of their way to work with me (and every single person in the class), and modify the workouts based on individual strengths. The best part is no one judges you what shape and size you are - there is only encouragement from every coach, sub, and all the fellow participants. So far, I have taken classes with Coaches Jenn, Rose, Dwayne, Gopalan and Vito and I adore all of them!! I love their sign up system, the equipments, and even their no-frills payment system - if you are going out for a month, you can cancel and re-enroll when you're back. Austin is always responsive. I am so glad this gym and the coaches have pushed my boundaries in a gentle way and I don't ever feel inferior or incompetent. The world needs more people like these gems. read more

What initially drew my interest into CFM amongst all the gyms in the Fremont/Milpitas area was the price, accessibility, schedule, and friendly staff. I wasn't working full-time yet when I first joined in March 2021 so price wise I was looking for something under $200/mo to get in 2-3x/wk. I enjoyed the Tuesday/Thursdays at 8:30AM with Jenn and the crowd. It was a lively course and no matter how challenging the workout was, the group would enjoy a morning jog. As I progressed through the months I had the pleasure of working with Rose, Margaret, Vito, and Dwayne. All coaches hosted the class with enthusiasm and would cheer EVERYONE on. Every movement in CrossFit can be modified to accommodate injuries. OTF vs CFM I used to take OrangeTheory Fitness (OTF) courses and really enjoyed my time there. However between the franchise gym and CFM, I choose CFM for their management of new members and no show / cancellation policy. At OTF I was stressed about signing up for class on time, vs at CFM they don't oversaturate new members which gives current members priority to join the class times they want. At OTF many current members are also enrolling in classes even if they MIGHT not make it because of how saturated it is. If you don't cancel 8h before class, you have a fee. At CFM esp during evening hours you have time to decide if you will make it to class. Their cancellation policy is 3h before class. Whether it be CFM or another gym, I look forward to returning to CrossFit hopefully in the spring. read more

TLDR; great impression after my first workout. I attempted to come here years ago with my husband to try the gym out and was unexpectedly turned away. After my review, Austin (owner) reached out and apologized and offered to make it right. Unfortunately, I let it slip and never responded. I moved into the area, and I was looking for a new gym. I came upon xFit Milpitas, and I realized I'd been by before, and Yelp refreshed my memory. I reached out to Austin to take him up on the offer. He welcomed me and spent 30 minutes on a 1:1 on-ramp session today. I have done xFit before (years ago) at NC Fit and Unlimited Milpitas, and I was truly impressed with Austin. I've never been coached with such detail/direction as he provided. He truly is an expert in his craft, and you can tell by the fact he wants his students to get individual attention to learn proper technique before jumping into class. I initially just wanted to get in, do my modified work outs (injuries) and not bother with additional coaching, but I'm glad I was so rusty that Austin said I should do the 5 session on ramp classes. I'm looking forward to seeing what else is to come. read more

How did I not write a review for CFM?? I heard a lot about cross-fit over the years (both good and bad) Then I met this colleague who lost 50lbs in about 6-7 months and he said how CF changed his fitness levels and all he did was to just show up everyday for an hour and give all he had. I decided to give CF a try and the closest cross-fit gym to my house was CFM and it had amazing reviews. I contacted them and setup my no sweat intro. I was skeptical but I wanted to just give it a try. My first meeting, I met Coach Jenn and spoke to her in depth about my background and goals and she signed me up for my on ramp classes with Coach Vito. I cant say enough about how lucky I was to meet this wonderful coach who knew exactly how to get his point through and with a hugge smile on his face his energy is contagious ( don't get me wrong... he yelled at you if you did it wrong but gave you exactly how it should be done) After my 5 on ramp sessions, I was thoroughly enjoying this and I signed up to be a member. I attended Coach Vito's classes at least 3 times a week and could totally see my fitness levels getting better already in a month. I never did a single jump rope ever and he gave me cues that helped me so much, I was doing 100 single unders unbroken in 2 weeks. Cleans, sumo high pulls, rowing, ring rows, squats... he knew exactly how to communicate what the movement took ( long arms Siva he yelled when I bent my elbows early) I couldn't recommend any gym or any coach more.. I absolutely loved the group I trained with everyday... I had to quit the gym since we moved but I so wish I was at CFM still.. I am now at a new gym and all the coaches praise how I move and control my breathing and all I say is I had an amazing coach at CFM that emphasized on those basics read more

All right, I told myself that I would write a review about this place a month after I've been going and hopefully have gotten duke. Well, it's been a month, I'm still alive, but I haven't gotten duke yet. Why? Well, to get duke, I have to check in about 300ish times.... and that isn't happening anytime soon. So Crossfit Milpitas is the place I've chosen to be a part of after examining the other boxes in the area. I'll give you yelpers a breakdown of why I chose this place and my analysis of those who are thinking about joining. Why did I join CFM (Crossfit Milpitas): - Great coaches (very knowledgable, very smart, hilarious, and great role models) - All skill levels are welcomed - Great environment - Classes starting from 6:30 AM to just about 7:30PM - All the WODs are posted on their website - They are part of a great community in Milpitas - Everyone motivates you to try your hardest and you don't feel judged - After being a gym rat for the better part of my life, I needed to discipline my workouts more and challenge myself - They have community workouts on Saturday to help you get your feet wet in Crossfit - Every day is a new challenge - Did I mention friendly people? To put it all together, CFM is just an amazing environment and an amazing box to be a part of. The coaches here are phenomenal and they try their best to get you to your own personal goals. I want to give a personal shout out to Steven Yong who has been my coach for the better part of my time with CFM and he exemplifies what it means to be a coach. If you're here reading my reviews, and are considering joining CFM, I highly recommend doing so because it gives you an opportunity to challenge yourself every single day that you're going. ----------------------------------------------------- Things to consider: - Parking lot is limited, however you can always park at the lot across the street (don't worry, it's not too far and your car won't get towed) - It's expensive (a bit more than the other boxes in the area from what I researched) - $1,750 for an entire year - $200 per month (you can cancel at any time) - $149 per month PER YEAR contract ($50 charge per month that you do not use in the year contract. So if you go for 10 months and decide to cancel, you'll be charged $50 dollars for the remainder of the months left in that year contract; 2 in this case) - Classes can sometimes be really full, but don't worry, I haven't seen more than 14 in a class at any one time ----------------------------------------------------- So I HIGHLY recommend joining CFM if you're thinking about joining Crossfit. Here's my final breakdown that helped me make my final decision: - Great people - Great coaches And that's really it. The people you surround yourself with is so important to me when I'm sweating my ass off, and surrounding yourself with people who are supportive of your efforts but pushes you to get that last rep in is who I want to be around. Best of luck to you who decide to join! It'll be a challenge, but what isn't a challenge in life? read more

Crossfit Milpitas - I PR'd today. 315 on the deadlift! Thanks coach Steve! - Interval Training Gyms Near Me - Milpitas, California

I've been coming to CFM for the last 2 years and this is the gym that got me into Crossfit and is keeping me coming! After doing the whole 24 hour fitness routine (aka going to the gym once a month), my boyfriend dragged me to this gym to try their free Saturday 10AM community workout (which they still have, btw!) After getting my butt kicked doing a workout comprised of body weight movements, I realized that this is the type of workout I liked -- short in duration yet really motivating you to push yourself. I won't talk about the merits of Crossfit; you can read all about that in sports journals and articles. What really sets Crossfit Milpitas apart from the other gyms I've visited is the warm and welcoming community. It's hard enough trying something new that's scary and threatens to "kick you in the butt", but the members and coaches here are super duper supportive and will ease you into your Crossfit journey through very detailed coaching and movement progression. A lot of the barbell movements can be awkward with lots of little details to remember (butt back? chest out? what?). But the coaches are all super patient and will work with you on every little step of the way, even helping you to tweak and correct your form if you've been here for a year or 5 years. Once you've been here for a little bit, you'll notice that the members are also super friendly! You can't come in without saying "hi" to at least 5 people who will be cheery at the start of the class and then cheering you on as you all sweat through your workout. I've had workouts where I wanted to throw in the towel and just quit, but there was always someone to help coach you through the workout, helping to motivate you and cheer you on because gosh darnit, you can do it! Other neat things about CFM are the fun nutrition challenges and competitions they host several times a year! As for the business itself, space wise, this place is pretty big! It's not a dinky little warehouse -- it's a larger warehouse! There are bars and pull up stations aplenty and can accommodate 20 people for a class (it never gets that crowded, only at their 6:30pm class). One last thing! 3 ladies here have recently had babies and during their pregnancies, they all kept coming to the gym! All of their workouts were scaled and tailored to their bodies with the utmost attention. I think that says a lot about not only the coaches, but also the supportive community here at CFM. read more

*This review is for the QuickFit classes only.* There are deals for 6 QuickFit classes or One month membership on Groupon/Living Social all the time. I decided to get the 6 QuickFit classes. Each class came out to be around 2 bucks so why not! I work out like a body builder so I normally don't do any cardio or HIIT training and this was a great way to start it. These QuickFit classes are only 30 mins long but they feel like an hour! It really kicks your butt and make you sweat so hard!! Rose is usually leading the QuickFit classes and she's great! Very motivating and gets you moving throughout the half hour. Overall, I'd recommend anyone to try the QuickFit classes if you're looking for an extra kick (literally) in your workouts! Classes are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and only works best if you go more than 1 class a week. read more

The Quickfit classes here were awesome. The workouts were intense, and the instructor did an excellent job educating us about proper form. Teaching proper form is really important with these types of exercises, and I've noticed that some regular gyms that offer "crossfit-style classes" will not emphasize safety as much as real Crossfit boxes like this one. I also loved the half-hour class format. It made it a lot easier to fit the class into my schedule. read more

I came here for the free Saturday class with my girlfriend and her family (her family are members) and we were just visiting the area. The family members love this place and I can see why! Its an intense place and they push you hard, but they don't try and break you. They are good about gauging your ability and trying to help you. We were total beginners and Vito dialed it back a little for us in some parts, and pushed us in others which led to a great workout with lots of sweating and a good time. The regulars who were working out in another area were all having fun while working out, challenging and cheering on each other- pretty inspiring! I would definitely go back if I lived in the area, but a LA to Milpitas commute is a little far. A tip- the main parking lot is small but there is free parking across the street. read more

I've been working out with the staff at Crossfit Milpitas for a year now; needless to say I enjoy the program and it is both effective and supportive. People tend to have an unfounded fear of the workout program Crossfit. I would like to clarify that there are no prerequisites for the gym. They may push you hard, but it's always within feasible reach. If you can't do a regular push up, do them from your knees. Too hard? use a box! They have a weekly free community workout on Saturdays. I strongly recommend anyone interested in getting a taste of the program coming out on that day. It's usually simplified such that you won't get confused about what or how you're supposed to do a movement, but still intense enough to give you a great workout. The staff is top class as they help train some of the best athletes in crossfit. They also teach people who never workout usually. They have a great understanding of fitness and health. read more

I love Crossfit Milpitas, and I really have to say it's because of the coaches. They'll take classes up to 20 people and improvise on the fly if there isn't enough equipment for everyone. And I know some people get a little peeved when coaches stop them in the middle of a WOD, but I'd rather be doing the technique right then coming out of it hurting in all the wrong places. The coaches do a great job with explaining every movement and giving demos. I'm also a big fan of the WODs that Crossfit Manager, Vito, crafts for us every month. There's a great mix of cardio and weight-lifting, and equal focus on upper body and lower body movement. A "Rest Day" is enforced during the week which is great because sometimes even I forget I need to just let my body relax, and you'll hear from the coaches about how important it is to stretch and to listen to your body. I'd recommend Crossfit Milpitas, especially to folks who want to get started with Crossfit, since the coaches are great with being aware of everyone's skill level. Lastly, a definite perk is the community as everyone is encouraged to meet & greet, and more so, support and encourage each other. read more

I started Crossfit in Mid March through living social deal.I used to go to gym before and I do lot of running too. But I will say Crossfit is completely different experience especially Milpitas Crossfit. Everyone is here so friendly and it is like family environment. All the instructors are superb and very knowledgeable. They give their 100% to make sure we are doing each and every exercise correct and to perfection.Hats off to all instructor. When I started Crossfit I was 167 pounds and now I am 153 pounds so I lost around 14 pounds in 3 months. My tummy is almost gone :) and I feel so happy about it. I am now addicted to crossfit and I go like 5-6 days per week.I have seen lot of changes in my body and receive lot of compliments :). My stamina is increased tremendously. I know it is costly but it is worth the money as you will see the results very quickly once u start going crossfit seriously. read more

Finally getting around to writing up my review of Crossfit Milpitas, this has been pending for a couple of months now....Here it goes. After spending years at regular gyms and trying out kick-boxing plus hiring a personal trainer, I decided to give Crossfit a try. Personally, I always felt that I was doing OK in terms of fitness progress, that's until I gave Crossfit a try. After a year into it, I been kicking myself for not taking up Crossfit earlier. In just under a year, even though I have been pretty inconsistent because of business travel, I have never been and felt fitter. The passion, intensity and level of coaching this gym has to offer is second to none. There is a genuine passion the coaches at this gym have - a passion to make you push you limit and to keep helping improve your technique and overall conditioning - the thing that impresses me most is that these guys are as helpful in coaching me a year later as they were the very first day I attended a "try out" class. I'm in my late 30's and can scale my workout to my level, there a lot of members that are older and younger then me - age is simply not a factor, as daunting as some of the workout's may seem. If you are serious about getting fit and looking for the biggest "ROI" for the hour a day and money you spend at a gym - this is definitely worth trying for a month (and trust me you are not going to leave as this Crossfit stuff is addicting). In terms of facilities, the gym is fairly new, but the staff has been relentless in making improvements every month. read more

Let me start by saying that I'm a petitie female, weighing in at 110# (on the days I don't bake, at least). I have done yoga, hike, and pilates for years and years but my body has never had better results than from the few months I've been doing crossfit. Crossfit itself is an amazing workout but what makes Crossfit Milpitas the best gym in town are the people who run it. Every single coach who works there welcomes you as part of the family, fills you with a great sense of confidence and pushes you to your limit. I have every intention of staying as petite as I am but I want to get my body more toned and defined. The coaches at Crossfit Milpitas tailor each workout to fit you best. read more

I was introduced to Crossfit by Coach Vito. I wanted to explore a different way of gaining functional strength, and learn new exercises that help to develop it. What I wanted out of it was to learn the olympic lifts, which are often dangerous when not given proper instruction. The coaches were very patient with me in learning the technique and mechanics. It's not just a typical cross-fit gym: they're are in-tune with the entire cross-fit community and work to every individual's level; making sure you gain optimal strength/endurance/flexibility gains without getting injured. Everyone is very much focused on developing their strength/bodyweight ratio, which is always a pleasure (coming from a diverse MA & yoga background). It's a very open & friendly community with no egos. Everyone is open to sharing their training routines, and diet plans. Would highly encourage this place for athletes and fitness enthusiast. An easy 5/5. read more

Started here a few weeks ago after 4 years at another box. I love this place. Very friendly, both the trainers and the other people working out. The trainers are very knowledgeable, I've gotten some great advice about my technique and how to adjust it. Plus some additional stretches to reduce my soreness after a WOD. I am very happy here, not a huge box but I like it that way. read more

Best Crossfit in the Bay!!! I'm a beginner but I've tried a few CrossFit gyms all over the country, during my travels. This gym (Vito) has a way to ensure that you learn proper technique without slowing down the whole class. Another big plus, is the members make you feel at home. read more

I've been to my fair share of CrossFit gyms...now let me tell you, CrossFit Milpitas is LEGIT! not only are the trainers awesome...the athletes are even awesomer...if thats a word. The owner, Austin is a great dude...he is all about helping others and improving their fitness goals. He is by far a great dude... The trainers/coaches are awesome too. They are all very knowledgeable and know their $hit. They all have the drive to help everyone. The athletes are all very cool and nice. All of them welcome new athletes with open arms. The family aspect of CrossFit Milpitas is unbelieveable. Im guessing the athletes get their friendlyness and helpfulness attitudes from the trainers. CrossFit Milpitas is an overall great place. With awesome workouts, coaching, dinners, and parties, this box is perfect! Not onyl will you get in the best shape of your life...you'll have fun doing it! read more

This review is long overdue. I've been going to Crossfit Milpitas for a little over 4 months now. Before then, I was just like any other guy going to a large commercial gym like 24hr Fitness. I didn't think I was the strongest guy, but I thought I was in pretty good shape...until I did my first WOD, or Workout of the Day. I never felt so winded in my life. It was the good kind though...as it revived my enthusiasm for fitness and physical activity. Ever since then, Crossfit Milpitas has done an excellent job making fitness be fun. Of course it is physically demanding and challenging, but it consistently gives you the feeling of accomplishment after every workout whether you hit a new personal record or not. The programming gives a wide variety of metabolic conditioning, gymnastics, mobility, or Olympic strength training. Although I haven't been to many other Crossfit gyms, CFM is pretty spacious and a good size. I've seen it accommodate class sizes of around 10-20 people. Once it gets to more than 10 people though, the equipment becomes limited, but the coaches do a great job in pairing up everyone to share equipment to ensure an effective workout. Speaking of which, the coaches are definitely what make this place special. All the coaches are personable, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. Whether you're a first timer or a seasoned Crossfitter, the coaches always have some constructive feedback to help make sure your technique is spot on. And if you really listen to what they're saying, you will definitely see improvement in no time. Overall, if you're looking to take your fitness to the next level, I highly recommend Crossfit Milpitas. There is a great sense of community at this box and everyone is friendly and encouraging. There is absolutely no intimidating factor if you're new to Crossfit. Once you consistently go, you build a camaraderie with your peers which only makes it a much better experience. Unlimited is a great Crossfit Gym and has great staff. I think it's the only gym in the Bay Area that allows it's members to come in on non-scheduled times (due to it being inside a standard gym). The owner, Austin, is not only an excellent coach but is very approachable. And Jason Khalipa (Winner of the 2008 Crossfit Games) is coached and mentored by Austin. Someone has to be doing something right... My first time at Unlimited was for a free intro class. Not only was the class very informative, but Austin let myself and a few members do a WOD after. Overall it was a great experience. If I lived a bit closer I would be a full time member... But can't due to the commute. read more

Its great gym because its got great trainers. After my first community workout with Dal, I got hooked. The reason was, to do WODs in a regular gym with proper assistance and environment is very difficult. The workouts get the best out of you. Makes you look better of who you already are. Every workout is different and incorporates different moves, you couldn't ever imagine. Crossfit Milpitas has a friendly environment. You can interact with people whom you workout with as family. FYI , I wish I could be part of the noon crew again. They are hella fun people to workout with. read more

I've been to CFM several times for regular and quick fit classes and it's always a much needed kick butt work out which keeps me coming back for more. Long overdue review. Unlike many others, my goal was not about loosing pounds or even getting stronger. I was only looking to have some exercise as a habit, a routine which I can stick to. 1.5 years since I started here, and now I look forward to my 30 mins QuickFit sessions every Monday, Wednesday & Friday. I wish there were more session each week. Morning timing works perfect for me. I usually come back by 6:35 and then do couple of Yoga poses and stretching at home. I don't have inches or lbs lost to tell you but I achieved my goal of getting into the habit of exercising. read more

Feeling a little extra jiggle when you wiggle? Or just looking to get stronger, stay fit and have some fun while you are at it? But not looking for that whole grunting rhinos lipping tires vibe? Well I recommend this crossfit gym. I'm just a beginner so I went ahead and started attending their morning express class. It's 30 minutes of what seemed to me initially like pretty basic movements, by rep three I was dying! I was sore for four days but I didn't let that discourage me, I made my way back there and I've really enjoyed it ever since. You will be sore the first time you do this even if you workout daily crossfit is unique in that it gets you utilizing muscles that you wouldn't normally use. I've only worked with two coaches there and they were great. They take the time to make sure your form is on point and to motivate you the group workouts are fun and everyone I've met there has been really nice. So in conclusion I know nothing about crossfit but everyone here is really nice and it is a great workout. The first time you will be sore! But don't give up it's a lot of fun and consistency is key :) read more

If you want to read a magazine by yourself on a treadmill, Crossfit Milpitas is not the place for you. However, if you're looking for an amazingly supportive atmosphere where you'll get a tough, effective workout, and you'll have a great time doing it, check out this gym! The coaches are top notch, and a group class with one of them tends to be better than personal training sessions elsewhere. They'll give you the techniques and motivation to push your body to do the impossible. The results have been wonderful. In the 6 months since I joined Crossfit Milpitas, I've lost 50 pounds and seen an incredible change in my fitness ability. When I joined, I could barely run a quarter mile. Last weekend, I did my first half Ironman triathlon. I've never felt better. The best part about this gym and Crossfit in general is that it never gets boring. The hour starts with an warmup - often a very creative one - ranging anywhere from a crazy obstacle course to a game of tag. We then work on different skills or lifting heavier weights. This can involve olympic weight lifting, kettlebells, gymnastics - you name it. The final section of the class is the Workout of the Day - published daily at www.crossfitmilpitas.com and done at the highest intensity possible - for time! Passing out on the floor at the end of class is not uncommon, but it always ends with a great feeling of accomplishment. Oh yeah - they also offer really flexible class schedules and a huge new space filled with great equipment. But it's mainly about the people - and you can't beat the group at Crossfit Milpitas. read more

I've been fortunate to receive a bday present to try Crossfit Milpitas for a few months earlier this year. I've tried an introductory crossfit somewhere before so I was familiar with how the classes worked. It was also encouraging to know that I knew someone on the classes so that was good motivation. Crossfit may not be for everyone, unfortunately I would have to say that for myself. But do not make me discourage you, I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE everyone to try and experience how it works. I was introduced to the class by Dal but was taught on the intro classes by Vito. So personally I was hesitant and intimidated; Crossfit folks are fit and agile like crazy. But the CFM family have a rule to introduce each other no matter what level they're in and it produces camaraderie, familiarity and just good folks to know. It's a group setting and based on fitness level (it'll be determined via warm up exercises and times attended), the WODs are your own, so basically you'll only be cheating yourself. Eat something light, hydrate because this isn't a gym workout where you're lightly sweating. Especially as a beginner, you'll be sore and unable to move, but its all the more worthwhile. Thank you for the opportunity CFM. read more

CrossFit brought back the athlete in myself from my school days. Austin is a great Coach and I've been CrossFitting for 3.5 years as a result. A few of my good friends have been members of CrossFit Unlimited (CFU) in Milpitas for a few years. On and off for the past year and a half, they were trying to convince me to give CFU (and CrossFit in general a shot). Finally, after much resistance, I decided to give it a shot (just to get my friends off my back!). I had a one-on-one introductory session with Coach Dal where he walked me through the CrossFit philosophy, showed me techniques of the basic CrossFit movements, and had me do a workout which incorporated movements I just learned. This was in April 2010, and I have not looked back since. My CrossFit Unlimited membership is one of the single best investments I have made for my mental and physical well-being and happiness. The workouts are intense and challenging, but not impossible. After completing the workouts, you attain a sense of accomplishment knowing you just pushed yourself to the max. All of the coaches at CFU are well educated and excellent teachers. They are always available and more than happy to work with you on improving techniques and learning new movements. All of that said, I think the best feature of CrossFit Unlimited is the camaraderie shared amongst the members and staff. New faces are never left out in the cold - members are always introducing themselves to each other. And, members are always encouraging/motivating other members during workouts to keep giving it their all and pushing themselves to new limits. read more

I am new to Cross Fit and this place does not disappoint. I am attending on a Groupon deal but plan on joining once completed. The trainers are friendly, helpful and can kick-ass; including yours with their fitness routines. read more

I'm not one to write yelp reviews, but I think I owe it to this gym. I've been an athlete all my life and was just looking to break out of my workout routines and needed to push myself to work out harder. I booked an intro class appointment with coach Vitto and he was very knowledgeable and not pushy or trying to sell me on something. It felt like I was working out with one of my buddies. Since that day I've been hitting CrossFit hard every day and pushing myself to new limits. Yes, I've been sore everyday but it's a good sore that I don't get when I go to 24hr fitness. CrossFit can be a little intimidating at first since you think it's all these monster athletes that you see on the CrossFit games; but its really just your everyday kind of people working out at their own pace. The people have been very friendly and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The coaches are nice, genuine people that encourage you to reach your potential. Even though its a class setting, they take the time to work with you, one on one with techniques and motivate you to reach your full potential. I can't speak for the other CrossFit gyms, but this one is Awesome!! read more
