We were on their bottom floor patio (which was lovely) but I did spy that they have a rooftop patio as well (what's not to love?!?). Everything from the food to the cocktails to the service was exemplary. For my cocktail I got their Old Colonel's Smoking Gun which was their twist on an old fashioned and was delightful. For my entree, I got their salmon entree. It's glazed and comes with a size of their crispy brussels and cheesy grits. The brussels were delish and their cheesy grits rank among some of the best I've had with sharp cheddar giving them the perfect flavor kick. The atmosphere was so pleasant. It's definitely the sort of spot you'll feel tempted to linger. Get to it!

For starters, the cocktails. I ordered a spicy guava margarita which was super refreshing and delicious. It has a sweet but slight kick from the jalapeno and my rim was lined with Tajin. I really enjoyed this drink and would get again. For my late lunch, I went with the infamous District burger. This burger is huge! It comes with 2 quarter pound smashburgers, cheese, sweet heat pickles, garlic aioli, and caramelized onions. It was so good - I finally get to see what why it's a standout item. Every part of the burger compliments each other so well, from the juicy patties, the aioli, and sweet pickles. I ordered the chips as my side as I wanted to try them out and wow you can tell they are cooked in house. They're not greasy at all although I did have some burnt/darker chips in my batch. Overall, it was a great experience and service and I look forward to coming back to try out their brunch and other cocktails.
