They have a very good variation on their menu, with breakfast, salads, sandwiches and snacks to choose from. The space have 11 tables with perfect view of their 4 screens. There's always a chance to watch the match you'll like to watch unless they're more than two matches happening at the same time ( which has happened to me lo). Coffee it's pretty tasty, and there's wine to chose from. Can't complain. The store is next door, for whichever fan who'll like to get merchandise. There's an basement space available for private parties and such. Definitely recommend it if anyone who loves coffee, wine and soccer. read more

I was traveling from 84th and West End to the train station at 86th and Crossbar was on my route. It was a little hard to find, down into the basement. It was hard to figure out the vibe of the place, was it a soccer bar or a breakfast place. The staff was really helpful and friendly. My friend and I got a couple of coffees, she got a BEC and I got an avocado toast with an egg. The coffee was really good, she liked her BEC and while my avocado toast was good with a nice runny egg everything was cold. I would have liked the toast and the egg to be warm to balance out the temperature of the avocado and greens. I spend a fair amount of time going from 84th and West End to the subway station so I will definitely stop again. read more

Came in from out of town needing somewhere to WFH until I had a place to go and was pretty stressed about getting a decent spot. Found this on Google and feel so fortunate. The first thing I found was a picture of their cookies on Instagram. They are incredible and you must get one. The service is 10/10 here. They took our orders and even served us at my table which I was not expecting at all! It's such a unique spot there's a soccer gift shop attached with awesome jerseys and stuff. No outlets so beware. There was ONE table that provided an outlet that pulled down from the ceiling lol. Luckily my laptop was charged up and I only needed to stay there for 2 hours. If you need more than that I'd look elsewhere. Could be loud for conference calls but fine for casual calls for sure. The food was good. We got tuna melt and breakfast burrito. I wasn't blown away by it but it was good quality and a hefty serving size. The coffee blew me away. It was nothing grand, but SO yummy. Not too sweet which is something I always worry over. So delicious and comforting. Again that cookie is bomb. Will definitely come back if I need a casual spot especially just for coffee and pastries. read more

This place used to be a bar that I would come to alot! So being here now as a bar/ coffee shop was really odd! But cool. This bar has two floors. The food here looks good I did not have anything just a stella. But my friends who got stuff it all looked good. They have a few tvs upstairs and they also have a downstairs with one or two as well. Just a side note if using bathroom downstairs the door is very hard to close.. at least it was for me. I felt like if I tried to shut it I would get stuck in there. I came by recently on a Friday afternoon to get some work done. Overall, really nice spot, with lots of seating, air conditioning pumping, and they even had the French Open playing on the TVs, which was fun to watch. I got a cortado and a cookie. The cortado tasted burnt to me, and really drowned out any other flavors of the beans. The cookie was quite good; really big, slight crisp to the outside and really chewy in the interior. It had lots of melty chocolate chunks that were great too! A bit on the sweet side though, it could have used even more salt. By the end, a bunch of middle schoolers had come into the space and were quite loud, and the air conditioning had gotten a bit too cold. There's also a time limit on the WiFi, so I just decided to leave. Overall, would come back to get some quick work done! read more

So far I've tried the breakfast tacos (like four times), the massaged kale salad (amazing), the migas, hash browns (unique and delish), and the peach & blue cheese salad. Literally all of it has been top tier excellent and super fresh. I'm pretty sure the sunflower seeds on my salad were freshly hand toasted. That is some serious attention to quality, people. The peaches were peak season ripe, tomatoes too. Like, do they have a garden out back? And the prices are super reasonable and potions generous. I'll be working my way through the whole menu. I played my hand cunningly the other day: attended a business breakfast at Barney greengrass the surgeon King but did not order coffee, which isn't up to the standards of their other offerings. Instead I bided my time and went immediately afterwards to crossbar two blocks away, where the Devocion coffee is spectacular, the vibe very welcoming and the WiFi robust. I went there to grab a sandwich to-go at noon on a Monday... I was one of two patrons in the place and the other person already appeared to have her food. My sandwich order took 25 minutes to come out which seemed like a lot considering there were at least 5 people "working".
