Outside signage. I'll be back.

Had the hash and my gf had the biscuits and Gravy. Ranks in the top 3 of the best/ freshest/ homemade breakfasts I've ever had. People around town say the meatloaf on Weds shouldn't be missed. It was packed. They could use a sitting area while you wait. Natalie took good care of us.

Great staff. Good food. The environment isn't very appealing, but is clean. Locals are always crowding the place, so at times it can be hard to find a spot if you have a large group.

The food and service were great at this small town diner. It was our 2nd time there and it was consistently good!

Really good diner food and easy parking. They stay busy and the food is fresh and hot. Best onion rings I have had in years.

The Good: My Rueben was fantastic. Huge, filling, and…read moretasted great leftover. My husband got the French Dip, and it was huge and delicious that we all sampled some of his. The Cheese Curds (which should be called cheese cubes) were yummy and had great cheese pull. Our cashier (I wish I would have gotten his name) was warm and friendly. I wish every worker in the restaurant was like him. The Bad: Becky, our waitress. She had such a sour personality. When we ordered a kid drink (which is stated on the menu) she looked at me like I had 2 heads before saying "oh, a small drink." Kid drinks are literally listed on the menu. When the food was brought out, my husband tried to help by grabbing the plate, instead she moaned at him to move his phone (our daughter doesn't talk and communicates through text, which is why it was out). Becky would drop off refills without saying a word. She never bothered to offer us dessert, which we were going to get. My husband and I have 30 years combined experience working in the tourism/hospitality industry, and this is just uncool. I will also mentioned that my daughter ordered a Meatball sub since meatballs are her favorite food. She told us they were chewy, and not very good. We left conflicted. For the most part, the food was excellent, but they should be ashamed of Becky.

Walking in feels like the universe hit pause somewhere in the best way. Same feel, same energy, same kind of place you can count on without thinking twice. It's like being teleported back to exactly where you're supposed to be. And the food? Exactly what it should be. No pretending to be healthy, no overthinking it. Just straight, unapologetic comfort. I go there for one thing every time: the hot beef sandwich. Massive. Smothered in gravy... and I mean gravy everywhere. The kind where you don't just eat it, you commit to it. Fries? Those are getting dipped in gravy too, no question. It's excessive in the best possible way. The portions are out of control. You're not finishing it. You're not even pretending to. You're leaving with enough leftovers for the next couple of days and you're not mad about it. It's the kind of meal that feels a little sinful, but worth every second. You'll deal with forgiveness later. Hometown, no-frills, real-deal comfort food that hasn't lost its identity over time. And honestly, that's rare.
