Everything is exquisite. There's something for everyone and something at every price point. The jewelry selection was quite interesting, as was the art selection. Some beautiful dishware as well. My favorite part of the visit to this huge and interesting shop was the vast selection of rugs downstairs! GORGEOUS SELECTION! I mean, STUNNING. I met three lovely staff members throughout my hours long visit. Each helpful and friendly as I navigated my way through the huge space. I can't wait to visit again. Next time, I'll bring a cargo van and load it up!

This last time the owners, Bill and Susan, were hosting a jewelry show featuring local artists of course. I will admit I probably spent more than I should have, but I came away with some truly unique and lovely items to include a Christmas gift for my mom who also loves jewelry. From this write up you might think the gallery features only jewelry, but that is not the case. I noticed art on the walls and sculptures/gifts throughout the store. The one commonality being unique local art. The owners of this lovely store were kind and helpful. I was able to try on the jewelry and wander about the store as I browsed around some more. When it came time to check out, I was even offered a small discount - maybe because I had decided to purchase 4 items. At any rate, it was greatly appreciated as was the glass of wine to enjoy during the art show. This shop is a class act and I will return.

The challenge is they don't want you to take photos in the store, so I can't show you all the cool things. The prospective customer base for the items she sells is extraordinarily passionate about ornaments and inquisitive about their provenance; however, it is quite clear that she doesn't understand these customers nor the questions they ask at all. I am also fairly confident that she intentionally removes the MSRP tag from the Old World Christmas ornament line in order to charge prices in excess of MSRP. I have visited many similar stores throughout PA and MD and have never encountered this phenomenon elsewhere.

We quickly realized Ms. Golden possessed total interior design skills. Our Design and Build firm was long on "build" and short on "design." She expertly developed a lighting plan, created a custom shelving unit, drew up precise specifications for our crown and case moldings, steered us to an excellent furniture retailer, selected fabrics, and helped us with tile selection for our backsplash. Ms. Golden demonstrated to us time and again a keen sense of design, of color discernment, and a depth of professional knowledge. You can most definitely rely on her judgment, as she will offer her view of the proper design/color, and always offer a full explanation for her choice. We are thrilled to have worked with her, and we credit her for salvaging our remodel.
