It has become extremely difficult to schedule appointments with Dr. Hinkle or Dr. Boyle. After waiting weeks, we've arrived for appointments only to be told they were canceled without notice. Additionally, the front office staff is often rude and make simple questions feel like an inconvenience. The newer staff responsible for fitting glasses also do not seem to take the time to properly ensure a correct fit. This has been very disappointing given the level of care we experienced in the past. Unfortunately, today was the tipping point and we will not be back.

Prescription continued to be a problem with placement of the progressives. Another prescription change/prism change and placement of the progression. Requested payment for a new lens $$$$ and when I said that I would go elsewhere they said need to pay $40.00 to be given the prescription. Fortunately I do have documentation of all my calls and visits as requested by my attorney husband. I thought he was too cautious but he questioned the capabilities of the place since neither of us has ever had issues with prescriptions. This goes beyond elder abuse because I feel this is their office practice. Since I don't know anyone that uses them and I have been here 35 years I cannot check. Hope this alerts others that need glasses. There are multiple places to choose for eye care. I will be certain to discuss this. with others in all the ministries at church. They were only chosen because I could not get an appointment until weeks away at any other place. . That should have alerted me. My husband will pursue this at a great inconvenience for us but $1000. for lenses that were improper from the beginning shows a lack of their integrity and choosing to intimidate rather than accept that all the incorrect prescriptions were their fault.
