Microwave, Mini Frig, T.V with Cable. Small coffee pot set up. A desk, table 2 chairs. Hangers and luggage rack. There is a great Pool which is a big perk. Unfortunately, this year was to cold to swim. We had swam last year and it was great! There is a Supermarket across the street and the beach not far at all. The motel provides an informative binder. The town center is actually within walking distance for most people about 1/4 to 1/2 miles away. Becareful though, the road in front of the property, at the traffic lights gets very busy. We witnessed a bad car accident while waiting to cross the street, the 1st year. A Continental Breakfast with delicious homemade muffins is served every morning. To be totally transparent and give a 100% honest review these next things were a few minor issues that only happened our last visit. The water pressure in the shower was very slow. No shower liner, (not the problem) the fabric curtian got soaking wet and wet the whole floor, causing a slipping hazzard. The soap and shampoo/conditioners weren't filled. We were supposed to be given a second key that was never dropped off. Had the T.V. shut off at about 10pm while we were watching, out of nowhere. I called the office to let the staff know and got a NOT my problem response, that I wasn't excepting. This year we had tried to book 2 days again, but only one was available. We decide to take the 1 night and pay more then we would have elsewhere. No sure about next year.

The walkway was thru the sand dune that took us down to the beach. The beach was allowed a nice walk along the water. There are multiple homes that we passed. I took a drive-through this past year and was shocked at the overgrowth. It was a real bummer. That place was my childhood. We knew every inch of it and all the paths that led to the water. Or the little camp store. Some of the best beaches were overgrown. Such a shame. He proceeded to go back to his truck, a white pickup, and then decided to vandalize my car. The beach is perfect for families with little ones. The sand is soft and there is plenty of shade from trees. The rope off swimming area is perfect for toddlers to walk around in because you don't have to worry about waves. It only costs $8 to access the park. You can pay by credit card so no sweating bringing cash with you. There is plenty of parking in a parking lot that is next to the beach. Handy cap parking is also available right next to the beach entrance by the bathroom. A clean bathroom is also available in addition to a rental place to get paddle boards and kayaks. If you get tired of the water, you have access to plenty of trails. If you need snacks or lunch there is a general store not too far from the park entrance. We got a bit turned around trying to find the main beach and parking area. If you are looking on Google maps, it's on the Southeast side of the pond and you want to turn onto Flax Pond Road to get to it. My wife used to hate going to lakes and this pond has completely changed her mind. Now she can't stop talking about it!!
