The workers are great and are patient when you ask for way too many samples. The scoop sizes are humongous and a double scoop is way more ice cream than you should eat but yet you find a way to finish it!!! The one knock I'm giving them is because they mistakenly gave my wife the wrong scoop for one of hers. It was still good - but when you want one thing and get another it leaves you wanting what you wanted. Now my science problem... at the end of the eating of the ice cream I had developed some of the most severe and smelly and abundant amount of flatulence. It was powerful and ready to be on display. It's possible it was from dinner - but the smell and energy was something made for an immature movie! So enjoy the ice cream and beware of potential unintended consequences!

We both got the Assam black tea, no boba or anything. My husband got his totally unsweetened and I did mine half sweet. It was really good and super refreshing. The tea had this slightly perfumed/floral taste to me that I really liked, but it wasn't overpowering at all. The guy working was suuuuper friendly and chill. He chatted with us for a minute, asked if we were from around the area, and just made the whole stop really pleasant. For my entree I ordered the Arroz Chaufa with Pork along with a side of Salsa Criolla. The Arroz Chaufa was a good mix of salty and sweet and pairing the Salsa Criolla with it was just the right combination. Portions were pretty big and quality of the food was on point. When busy, they have a ticket system and you're barely waiting long. Everyone behind the meat counter is ready to help. Space is a little tight to maneuver but very manageable. (Beau Jo's comes to mind which I still give a 5 star.) But this 5 store chain must've had a weak start. I am giving GQue a 2 star because of the portions and the staff. Otherwise, it should get a 1 star. We shared the pulled pork sandwich, a few slices of brisket and the pork ribs. The portions were good and the meat looked and, at first, tasted good. But, as we progressed through the meal, there was something that wasn't quite right. At first, there was an issue with the pulled pork sandwich. Then there was something else strange about the meat, which I believed was the brisket it didn't hit at first, but then the strangeness built from below. (I was jumping between dishes as I ate so it was hard to tell.) The pulled pork was good until I bit into some mushy part of the shoulder, which can happen from time to time when you don't get a good cut of meat. My enjoyment diminished further when we were about to leave. Instead of having a good taste in my mouth, the kind you get when you've had an excellent meal, I was left with a bad taste. Even as I sit here writing this review, I feel a sawdusty texture in my mouth along with a flavor that is not desirable. I have never quite experienced anything like it I cannot recommend GCue BBQ.
