We had two racoons causing havoc in our downtown condominium building. Zach from Critter Control came out and in short order addressed our issue. He was extremely professional and immediately did a very thorough inspection, determined where they were living and set traps in optimal locations. Less than a week later ...they were gone. Worth every penny! read more

We had a raccoon that somehow got into our kitchen floor! We weren't sure what it was, but when it started growling, it looked like the only animal that gets into homes and growls are raccoons. I called Critter Control and they explained how the process works. A couple of days later, Ben came by to find the entry point into our house. After looking around the whole perimeter of the house & roofline, he guessed that the probable entry point was under our deck; the underside of the bay window. Apparently it's a common place to wear holes for critters to get in. He set a live trap over the course of a couple of weeks caught 3 raccoons. He removed them, covered the entry holes & checked to see if any other animals tried to get it. Once he was sure no one was trying to get in, he began the repairs. The repairs are extra, but he measured for what it would take & emailed a quote for the repair. You have to sign the quote for them to do the repairs, or you can choose to do it yourself. He just finished the repair today, texted me photos of the repair. They have a 1 year warranty against any critters getting in after the repair. Ben was a pleasure to work with and always very respectful- he always answered my comments or questions with "yes, ma'am ". A great company to work with. read more

Called for an emergency critter inspection after-hours, on a holiday weekend. Sebastian was at our home within an hour, and was friendly, calm and informative. Absolutely will keep Critter Control in mind should we (or any friends/family) have any issues in the future! read more

I did not have a good experience. I called them because they were cheaper than a company I had used in the past. Keep in mind you get what you pay for. I lost sight of that fact. Gave 1 star because you have to give something. They do not listen to their customers. They pulled the trap today after they claimed to see no evidence of anymore raccoon activity. My evidence shows there is still at least 1 raccoon in my backyard. I was told if I want them to bring the trap back- I must pay another setup fee. I did all the work on the original set up as I already knew and could tell them where they lived, where they were coming from, where the defected and at one point how many of them there were. But I did agree to the setup fee. No problem. I did not agree they should take the trap away- but I am told they decide. I was gone for 2 weeks in which time they did get 1 but when I was home I supplemented the trap with food I knew they would eat so catches were easier. Not every raccoon loves marshmallows alone. Please research other options. There are companies that listen to their customers. read more

Terrible and expensive. To remove raccoons from inside an attic they placed a trap on the roof. ??? After never catching anything they charged additional fees to close the opening the animal had made, tried to convince me to change all the insulation in my attic for another $7000, and claimed the job was done. Raccoons are still in the attic and I'm now doing the job myself. When I called their office to report what happened the person said that's the "nature of wildlife" and tried to charge me again. I told her, several times, that I would not pay them anymore money, but they showed up and set traps again without my consent. I had to call again and tell them I was not paying anything more to them. Nearly $500 for nothing. Avoid! read more

I paid several hundred dollars to have a ground hog trapped. They checked the traps unsuccessfully and declared "it must have moved on." I assured them it had not, as I can smell a strong cat-like urine odor. Sure enough, I later found it's second hole in a bush. I called and requested they try again, and they left a trap in a random different part of the yard, before again giving up. The groundhog is still here, destroying our exterior stairs, and I am out of my wasted money. read more

The reason I chose critter control was because I am a Christian and they are listed in the Christian Blue pages. The first person that did the assessment was pleasant and I felt like he was thorough. He informed me that he set a trap outside for squirrels and that because it was Friday that he does not work on the weekend, and he would check again on Monday. I thought I had a racoon was the reason for the call I appreciated the fact that he did inspect the attic and informed me that there was no evidence of a racoon and there were no rat dropping. Starting on the next Monday for 3 days I received post-it notes on my door stating no activity. On the 4th day I heard someone on the roof it turns out that it was Ben I left my door open so I could talk to him I called him back to the house because he was not going to talk to me was just going to leave me a note ,he informed me that my problem was mice I was not offered any explanation as to how this conclusion was made so my problem is how do I believe it, I spoke to the receptionist by telephone who tried to explain to me mice funnels and what I could spend more money on, I realize that definitions of Christians are different but I am not feeling like this was a Christian behavior by not informing me of the conditions while he had the chance I still hear noises but I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and unable to pay for services on a maybe mice. Therefore, I am not satisfied, and I am depending on the Holy Spirit to comfort me and God's power to remove the noises what I should have done in the beginning read more

It's been several years but we've used Critter Control a few times when our needs were critical. They readily removed thousands of hornets residing behind our front door outside light fixture and inside our walls. We knew they were annoying and holding off our guests but had no idea the thousands that had accumulated over the months. Our second and third experience with Critter Control was to eradicate ground hogs that had made a home under our shed. We'd tried every remedy we could to rid ourselves of them (kitty litter (used) in the tunnels, gum, a high pitched noise machine (wow the mice we didn't know we had scattered all over the neighborhood!) It was a little like Caddy Shack. When we finally called Critter Control they lined our entire yard with traps (not friendly traps) and only charged us when we called to tell them the traps were full. They promptly came out, removed the pest and reset the traps until we no longer had a problem. We disposed of 9 ground hogs (5 were pregnant), 3 racoon, 4 possum, a number of chipmonks and a squirrel. When the neighborhood was being developed nearby it drove more critters to our area and we hired Critter Control to do the same thing. They were prompt, professional and reasonably priced. The best part is that my husband was no longer the brunt of all of the neighbors jokes once he stopped trying his 'home removal remedies'. read more

We have distinct "scratching" in one part of the attic so I called Critter Control. The first tech that came did a fine job, checked the attic and outside of the house. He stated that it could be several things, red squirrel, mice etc. He placed paper on one gap that we have. All good - then... Another tech came after the weekend and checked the paper. He tells me "no activity in the attic you're all good". He handed me paper work and then left - quite abrupt! $169.00 for him to tell me "no activity" as I am listening to "activity" in the attic. Will NOT be telling my friends much positive about Critter Control read more
