I wanted to utilize a local, individually owned Pest Control company, as I felt that the customer service and attention to detail would be better than a corporate company. I was right. Eddie responded to my inquiry right away and we set up a time for him to come out. He was thorough in inspecting the house and went to work. Now, I still have to give it a little time to see the fruits of his labor (or actually NOT see anything), but felt very comfortable in what he's done, and he does provide a 60 day warranty, so if anything arises, I feel comfortable knowing he will be back out to address any issue. I had a terrible ant problem inside and outside my house. They ate through the cement on our paver patio and ant traps and home sprays did not eradicate the ants as I had hoped. I got Eddie's name from a Facebook group, and let me tell you, he was every bit as responsive, conscientious, and professional as people told me. He placed environmentally friendly ant bait inside the house (injected them in cracks and underneath baseboards so my 14 month old did not eat it). He then sprayed the perimeter of the house. Everywhere he treated, I have not seen an ant since. When I discovered a few ants in a different area, he came out and treated that at no additional charge. These folks were WAYYYYYY helpful and professional!! He came out to my place to investigate a serious bee problem and was prompt in showing up. Literally showed up within 15 hrs of me calling him. He called while he was at my house and informed me that the bees were actually "honey bees" and not yellow jackets. He suggested contacting a bee keeper to save the two hives. Honey Bees are close to endangered so I was really pleased he didn't just kill them. Long story short, he didn't charge me, he was professional and demonstrated some real character by not killing them and charging me. Plus, the bee keeper I reached out to was rather excited to come get them. Well done all around!! Will use these folks for the fall pest treatment from here forward and I would 100% recommend them. We called Jenkins Pest Control back in January (09Jan17) to come out and take a look at our small mouse problem. Eddie located a few places where there was heavier mouse traffic than we realized and placed bait stations through our home. He explained how the bait works, and was quick about his work. He was in and out in less than an hour. The bait stations worked well and we didn't see any new droppings for months. Just recently, (16May17) I found two dead mice on some glue traps and I figured the bait stations must be out of bait, hence the new mice. We called Eddie back and he showed us that the bait stations are not empty, just that the mice get disoriented after eating the bait and that's why we got two on the glue traps. Once again he was quick about his work and didn't BS us. He gave us a military discount (I'm retired Army) on the first visit, and he didn't charge us at all for the second visit! Eddie was just here to spray the exterior of our home and basement after my son was bitten by a spider. I had previously placed glue traps in the basement and he was immediately able to identify all of our pests. He explained his process and warranty and was very polite and efficient.
