We tried several flavors of wings, two different chicken sandwiches & fries, but none of it left me wanting more. The chicken pieces were not seasoned well, the sauces were lacking, and the wings fried extremely hard! It almost felt like the wings were fried earlier in the day and just warmed back up. It's pretty much a take-out-only place. They do have a few tables inside but it's too small for my liking. The customer service was basic- nothing to write home about. This location is a part of Edison Lofts. There's street parking available, but it's a very busy area so parking might be a challenge.

The person on the phone had trouble understanding me and I was given to another person who was able to help but also had trouble understanding me. Seemed as though they're not 100% fluid in the English language but no shade. Arrived and food was ready. Smelled amazing on the way home. Once I arrived I was impressed by the size of the fish. I was expecting filets but they're bigger than that, seasoned well but there were some bones. Chicken was also seasoned well but a bit on the smaller side. I actually prefer them that way and are mine down to the tips. The issue I had was with the sides. This is marketed as a family meal, but the size of the sides is hardly enough to share. You get a bigger box of fries at the Chinese store for a dollar!! They were very good though. I don't know what they did to the fries but they too were seasoned well and I don't mean just sprinkled seasoning, possibly the oil. Just mad there wasn't enough for all of us. It's me, my husband, our daughter (10) and our son (2). There was ample meat but the sides were upsetting. I suggest getting 2 of the same to share if you're going to get sides. Oh!! And I'm pretty sure the Mac and cheese is Stoffers brand. Tastes EXACTLY the same.

I don't know or care if it was an honest mistake or because they were closing but the way it was handled was atrocious. The guy at the counter was disrespectful and dismissive as I heard everything he said on the phone with my nephew. Instead of checking the fish and admitting it was wrong he got defensive like he was right and no mistake took place but him not knowing I'm an avid fisherman and trained culinary chef that could tell the difference in a fish I wouldn't cook or eat for over 20 years he couldn't fathom because what he saw was a young black male who he thought didn't know better. He thought he could just pass on this to him and it would be ok not knowing I was on the phone and on my way there. Me, my family and friends have supported this place since it was established and the owner's know who I am. Once my nephew said his complaint would be heard by them the counter staff immediately returned the money but with discontent. When I arrived my nephew was outside the gate was pulled and the front door was locked. Being in the area, with a taste for chicken wings, I decide to stop by the eatery, and I'm glad about doing so for a reason beyond the eatery itself. The Lemon Pepper Wings are alright; a few of the bones seem a bit brittle; the flavor of the sauce is decent (tasting like a tahini-lemon-pepper mixture that is not spicy-hot though of a more sour lemon tahini flavor)--I do not know if the eatery has dry lemon-pepper chicken (which is preferable for me); the chicken is fried, not grilled, and certain fried parts seem to contain no meat though contribute to a distinct empty oil flavor which is not preferable for me--I don't know if the eatery offers a grilled version (which is preferable in such an instance, for me); the chicken meat itself is tender, juicy, meshes well with the sauce, and level of cooking varies per portion--watch along the bones. The interior of the eatery is chill, clean, and with a television on (streaming upbeat reggae music during my visit).
