I had to ask for it to be returned since it took them so long to return it. He said he wanted to make sure it is REALLY clean. Then he said the port metals are also bbbbbroo----i-mean-sub-----si--de---d. u---nfortun---ely there i--s n--othi---ng we---can do ----abo--u--t t--hatt. I asked him to confirm that he thinks that it was like that when he received the phone. I do not have any other use for the port other than normal charging which the odd charging patterns -- only some of which I had previously documented to myself -- have made harder. I went in DETERMINED not to spend money buying a fifth charger when I had four working chargers before this all started, and I was given a phone that had port metals that are bbbbbroo----i-mean-sub-----si--de---d. u---nfortun---ely. I complained and demanded a solution about their odd discriminatory charging practices and was lied to to face a falsified justification. When I got back, my charger started falling out of the port for the first time in many years. I had never seen a charger just jump out of its port. This happened twice in the past hour while it had never happened in many years since I bought this phone. I just noticed that the charger also started dancing in place where it was holding firm before I visited the store. My phone DID NOT HAVE the flaw they claim they had before I handed it off to them for cleaning instead of buying a fifth charger.

After looking at the phone and checking the system Axel was able to figure out what was wrong. Customer service entered the wrong IMEI number and was unable to override the update in the system. They had to create a trouble ticket with tech and we were told we would get a call in 24-72 hours. We never got the call. We went to the store again and Axel helped us. My son's phone was still not activated but Axel gave us great customer service. He was patient, stayed on the phone with customer service and tried his best to get our issues resolved. I had one of those unexpectedly wonderful customer service experiences and wanted to take a moment…read moreto recognize Irish at Target Optical in Sunnyvale. I had walked over to the Sunnyvale Public Library with my son and stopped for a moment to wipe my brow when out of nowhere, one of the nose pads on my glasses completely broke off. These were an older pair of glasses I had recently rediscovered while cleaning, so I figured the parts had simply become worn down over time. At first, I thought I'd just grab a repair kit from Target after ChatGPT recommended their Up & Up eyeglass repair kit instead of going all the way to Walgreens. Unfortunately, the only kit I found didn't include the nose pad I needed. As I kept walking through the store hoping they might be stocked elsewhere, I stumbled upon the Target Optical department, complete with an eye doctor and full service optical counter. That's where I met Irish. Irish was absolutely wonderful. She patiently and diligently worked on my glasses, replaced BOTH nose pads, cleaned them thoroughly, tightened and tuned everything up, and honestly made this old pair feel practically brand new again. You know how over time those little parts get dirty, brittle, degraded, and loose? She took the time to carefully restore them instead of rushing me through. What really stood out was her attitude and customer service. She was warm, professional, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire interaction. Irish gave us her full attention and made us feel completely taken care of. Excellent service experiences deserve recognition, and Irish absolutely earned this review. There's a super big parking structure with plenty of parking (on the Friday evening that we went). Super impressive to see this Target from the outside with the escalator and the Bullseye dog statue at the bottom floor. Someone left a shoe box there and he's not the cleanest since he's scuffed, but still cute to look at. There's also an elevator and an escalators and even an escalator for your shopping carts too. Super large and well stocked Target. The Valentine's Day section wasn't ransacked even though it was Valentine's Day itself. Bouquets were cheap and looked really nice too. There's lots of self check out and cashiers, as well as a Starbucks too, pretty standard for most Targets. I found the newly released Monster energy drinks that I have been searching for for months. Not super cheap, but decent price and I'm just happy I found them. They also have a dedicated Disney section which I have never seen outside of the locations near the parks in SoCal, which is really neat. Solid Target location.

I had a very disappointing experience at this O'Reilly Auto Parts location…read more I purchased a Dorman window regulator and motor assembly. The box I was given had already been opened, and I specifically asked whether everything was inside. I was told it was complete. After spending the time to install the part, I discovered the box contained only the window regulator--the motor was missing. I returned to the store expecting them to make it right. O'Reilly also sells the window regulator by itself, and it costs about $40 less than the regulator-and-motor assembly. I wasn't asking for a free motor or any special treatment. I simply asked for a refund of the approximately $40 price difference since I had only received the regulator. Instead, I was told the only option was to remove the installed regulator and return it. That would have meant wasting hours of labor because of a packaging mistake that wasn't my fault. What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the staff. Rather than trying to understand the situation or work toward a reasonable solution, they came across as dismissive and rude. I understand that employees have to follow store policies, but there is a respectful and professional way to communicate with customers. What disappointed me most wasn't just the missing part--it was the lack of a reasonable customer service solution. If a store sells an opened box and assures the customer it's complete, it should take responsibility when it isn't. A simple refund of the price difference would have resolved the issue fairly for everyone. I hope management improves how opened merchandise is inspected and handled and provides employees with more flexibility--and better customer service training--to resolve situations like this. Unfortunately, this experience has made me hesitant to shop at O'Reilly again.
