The store is very basic, but large. There is plenty of free parking available. The salesmen were awesome. They educated me about the basics of what I needed to know about purchasing a TV. Shout out to our salesman Francisco! He hooked us up with our tv... he was super knowledgeable about all their products. Anything you want and need to know he knew. We already knew what size and kind of tv we wanted. We wanted a 55in smart tv. They had so many options, brands, and with all different price ranges. At first we got a 55in Sony smart tv but for some reason it wouldn't automatically connect to our WiFi at home. We had to constantly manually do it which was frustrating and annoying. I called Francisco, told him about our situation and he had us troubleshoot but it did not fix the problem. So he told us to bring back the tv and we could exchange it. When we went to exchange our tv we decided to upgrade to a better tv.. we ended up getting the 55in LG HDR 4K tv. What an upgrade!!! The tv is awesome! It is hella clear.. and we do not have any problems. I'm a happy customer! Anyway all of our transactions ran smoothly and the customer service we received was superb. I called the San Mateo, CA store, picked up right away and talked with Tony. Said come on down - they would take in my dead TV and gave me some good information over the with no pressure. I ended up trying to save some money by buying an open box tv but unfortunately when I got home and powered it on I saw that the screen had an issue. I've driven by this Video Only location a few times and when my husband said he wanted to look at new TVs on Black Friday, I suggested we check it out! Doug helped answer all of our many questions and guaranteed his prices were better than anywhere else. The Black Friday sale price for the TV we picked was $699 but Doug sold it to us for even less. After researching the same TV online, I couldn't find it for less than $799 so we definitely got the best deal! When we got the TV home, we couldn't find a set of screws in the packaging and it turned out they were in the bag with the remote control. So if you're missing any screws, check there! Been researching for a sound bar for a while now, and decided to go with the JBL 5.1. But before purchasing, wanted to hear it in person. Decided to go to BestBuy in Union City... Terrible. The display they had up only allows you to play some whack commercial and unable to turn the volume up. Not to mention their lack of knowledge and helpfulness didnt come in handy. Now I am on my way to Video Only. Handsome gentleman by the name of Fransisco helped me with the deciding factor. Here they let you connect your phone and test the sound bar out. The ones I tested (LG SP8YA and the JBL 5.1) JBL was the winner. But in the back of my mind, I really wanted Atmos. Then Fransisco shows me the JBL 9.1. A little out of my price range, but has what I wanted (Atmos)! Since I liked the JBL 5.1, said to myself why the hell not? Fransisco assured me if I didnt like it, I could bring it back within 30 days. And I doubt I will be bringing this back! Yea... He up sold me. Do I regret it? Nope. Good job on that guy! read more

There were two people working and they didn't seem necessarily too busy but they did provide service to everyone who walked in. Dino was so helpful answering all my questions and was knowledgeable about competitors pricing as well as the differences in warranty details. I placed my order over the phone and since my car can't fit a 65'' tv, Dino was so kind as to offer to delivery it to me locally for free! Came here for the first time after hearing a commercial on the radio. When I first walked in I felt like I went back in time. The store isn't modern looking at all and is the complete opposite modern stores and with not many customers in the store I was skeptical and considered walking right back out. I'm glad I didn't. I went to Video Only after a friend had purchased their TV from there and had a good experience and good prices! And, heard a radio ad that said they're having a "stupid sales" and didn't have to wait for Black Friday and they would match all prices through November. So I went in (I really wanted to support local businesses and not buy a TV from a Big Box like Costco or Best Buy) and worked with Robbie Hanna to help pick out the right TV and sound bar for my house. He was super courteous, knowledgeable and explained the pros/cons of each model. Costco has their own sku for mainstream TV lines so if you buy a TV from Costco, you may pay less for not having some of the features. He also helped me with a sound bar selection. Delivery of the TV was the following week right on time as well. The entire experience was wonderful while I also checked with a friend on the phone while buying the TV!
